  1. He deserves all the attention we can give. Besides the release on Neogoa I'm sure he will make a lot of appereances on other labels aswell. This dude got over 8 hours of top-class Goa trance produced and ready to be released. We will however publish around 75 minutes of most acidic and powerful tracks for the debut. Regarding the artwork, I will make something a little bit different than this preview here...it needs a lot of improvement.
  2. I'm happy to reveal concept art, tracklist and album teaser for the upcoming Proxeeus album - At The Mountains Of Madness, to be released under Neogoa netlabel in May, 2015. Previews for two tracks are up on our Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/neogoa/at_the_mountains Tracklist: 01 - Across The Galaxy (10:18) 02 - Hanuman (07:43) 03 - Vimanas (11:35) 04 - Mechanical Menace (09:08) 05 - At The Mountains Of Madness (08:22) 06 - Ayahuasca (10:31) 07 - Chandra Knows (08:26) 08 - The Sea Of Tranquillity (10:26) More updates will be posted in the upcoming weeks!

  4. Thanks to you people, all of our releases in 2015 are in TOP 5 chart when it comes to weekly downloads at Ektoplazm. Even we had tight release schedule, this is something we didn't expected to happen. Speaking about the plans for the future, here is annoucement from the Facebook: Next: Kolovrat. Sky Technology's 'Sadhana' compilation is currently at the mastering and we're doing track selection for Proxeeus debut album on Neogoa. I'm planning to push out a lot of cool music before summer, so stay tuned for more updates!
  5. It's not coincidence. I decided to rip-off the Mystery of the Yeti albums, back in 2010. and release it for free in 2015. On the serious note, the core inspiration for this one can be found in situations, not in the music. If there is any musical inspiration regarding the concept, probably you'll have to dig into obscure '90s black metal demos. Good luck with that, tho.
  6. This and Basilisk's comparation with legendary The Mystery of Yeti compilation is probably the most flattering feedback that artists on this V/A can get. @Scandinasia - Since Basilisk lives in future, he managed to nail the hour of release perfectly. Basiclly compilation was available couple of hours before the eclipse entered European-time-zone...my dad and I had great time on balcony, watching the eclipse, drinking coffe and listening to this V/A, it was priceless experience. The spiritual meaning of this astronomical phenomenon can't be described with the words.
  7. WAV/FLAC/MP3: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/the-world-beyond The World Beyond is a new concept release from Neogoa featuring four songs by eight musicians, all of whom have previously appeared on releases from the label. In the making for the better part of the last year, this compilation is the first of its kind for Neogoa; embedded within the artwork one will find hints of connection to previous Neogoa releases, particularly the Dimensional Gateway series and Celestial Transvibrations. Here on this release Neogoa’s mysterious collaborators explore experimental realms ranging from dark and acidic Goa trance to eerie and occult ambient atmospheres, all perfectly crafted to bring the listener on a 75 minute journey into the world beyond. Artwork and concept by Richpa at Neogoa Design with mastering by Deimos at Deimos Soundlabs.
  8. Two days until TWB comes out. Keep your eye on Cosmic Soundwaves and The Psychedelic Muse YouTube feed, full tracks might appear there in the meantime. Gonna keep you posted as usual.
  9. I'll get back to you Reger later tonight, just had to leave this here. Latvia's Interior Minister Richard Kozlovskis called upon Riga's citizens to avoid provocations and to stay away from the capital's center during the annual march held on March 16 by Waffen SS Legion veterans and their supporters. Glorification of Nazism on 70th Anniversary of WW2 ‘Abhorrent’ Several hundreds of former Waffen SS legionnaires and their supporters participated in the parade in Riga. Kozlovskis noted that on the eve of the march several individuals were included in the blacklist, prohibited from entering Latvia. Russia's Foreign Ministry denounced the Waffen SS annual parade in Riga as "disgraceful," saying it insulted millions of victims of the Second World War. Latvia's Waffen SS Legion was formed in 1943 on Adolf Hitler's orders, comprising about 150,000 volunteers. The legionnaires participated in ruthless punitive operations, directed against Jews, Russians and Latvian Communists. According to Latvian media sources, members of anti-fascist movement washed and "disinfected" the square in front of the Freedom Monument after Waffen SS veterans ended their march. and one interesting quote by Lode Vanoost, former deputy speaker of the Belgian parliament: Latvian officials had to be specifically banned from these rallies and a minister was sacked last year for attending anyway. Why do you think the EU hasn’t put any pressure on Latvia over this, especially considering there has been European Commission and UN reports expressing concern about the situation?
  10. Indeed. I was amazed first time when he sent it, even the original mixdown wasn't that good as it is on this version. One of the reasons why we had so much delays in first two months.
  11. All tracks written and produced by Jago Boermans at Stellar Circuits Studio (Belgium). 12. Thank you very much for the review. Regarding the artwork, if you wish I can adjust it for print and remove the fonts from it, so if you like it, you can make yourself a print or something, just let me know
  13. Thanks for the review Bill, I'm glad you like it.
  14. Even these are the lamest examples, I seriously think that Goa trance movement should move from the 'Goa' names in compilations and take a path of innovation and experimentation. This isn't a news to be honest, trademark of name 'Goa' has been used since overload of YSE compilations and it won't stop anytime soon, but for the sake of quality within psychedelic Goa trance movement (and I'm reffering to most of the stuff that has been voted as best of here on Psynews - quality music) I think label owners, artists, compilers should gravitate towards new ideas and concepts. I know it might sound a little bit too radical and it will probably cause a lot of commercial-wise damage (since we all know how much people like to check music when cover artwork got Goa written all over it), but it will build nice foundation for the even better and more colorful future. I'm really sick of all this re-cycling and using the old-school imagery, especially in the music that got nothing to do with Goa trance. I'm sure that back in the days during the early and mid '90s, artists and labels borrowed many ideas from hippie movement and all the imagery aswell, but let's be honest, there was also A LOT more innovative artworks, compilation names, interesting concepts. Thank God, Goa trance music nowdays really got a lot to offer and it would be shame to constrain it or in some crazy scenario compare it with horrible examples from the first post. Sorry for slightly off topic here.
  15. Very well said. There is no bad or good guys here, but expansion of NATO towards Russia can be seen from Russian point of view as an direct threat and I understand them. After the fall of Soviet Union, there was an agreement about that but we all know who decided not to respect it.
  16. Thanks This is Interesting statistic, it's good to see that we got so much releases nominated. I hope 2015 will bring even more diversity from us.
  17. Reger, I really don't support foreign policy of my country, and you got right, it does look odd. Not only when it comes to military related things such as sending our fellow country-man to other countries to fight or support someones ideals, choosing sides in conflicts that don't relate to us (I believe, that no one should choose sides), but also their general decisions about sell-out of natural resources to corporations, suspicious privatization of strategically important companies, destroying the working middle-class, giving enormous benefits to banks, supporting TTIP agreement, and many other things which are slowly and silently destroying the society and creates more poverty. It might seem funny to you, but I really think we shouldn't be part of NATO and probably I'm not the only one here who thinks that way and I especially think that we don't need to buy anymore US weapons and increase our military spendings up to 2% of our already sad GDP and instead to invest money into healthcare, education, tourism, culture, NGOs. Regarding the Russia Today, look, I prefer to get feed from each side of the coin, does it matter where did I found the information? What matters is how do you percieve things and form your opinion about certain things. I could say same thing if someone posted link from CNN or FOX...I don't care, rational person will form opinion based on the facts and I like to form my opinion based on informations from different sources and from different countries, thanks to the digital age. The truth is always somewhere in the middle. I never said anything like that, you're over-reacting and you're missing my point here. Problem here isn't single nation, it's something that each country should deal with and I personally think that most countries nowdays still got problems with racism or for example islamophobia. Providing a weapons to a bunch of racists and neo-nazis isn't solution, wherever they come from. It will only make things worse. Don't be funny. I'm sure you're familiar about the mercenaries from other countries who are fighting in Ukraine. Yes, even from Croatia. Why they're fighting there? To defend people or because of money? Ever heard about Blackwater? Is in your book definition of defending when someone is bombing civil-areas? Check your facts my friend, it's not all white and black. This issue and conflict should be solved between people of Ukraine and no one else. Well you have right to have your opinion. Russia might be threat to imperialistic agenda of certain powerful people who are determining the fate of millions, but for sure it's not threat for common people like you and me. For a country which got enough of military power and nukes to bomb out complete planet 10 times, you really think that 100 vehicles are there to protect? No my dear friend, it's sheer provocation, just to show that disease called NATO won't stop. Situation is slightly different tho, Russia isn't Afghanistan, Lybia or Iraq and Putin is different breed of statesman, very calculated. Sometimes I imagine situation how would US goverment react in case Russia provided weapons to Mexico for example and send their troops to parade 300m from US border. Don't be naive and brainwashed. P.S. - Some people from Russia comes to Psynews you know, writting nonsense like RuSSia might be offensive to them, there is no need for such things.
  18. Im not sure have you seen this chart, but it perfectly describes the complexity of situation itself in middle-East. Some things have changed since the publication of the chart, tho
  19. This day didn't bring any good news either, another moderate opposition group switched to radicals. That was suprising...or not. Syria: al-Qaeda Nusra Front 'seizes' hi-tech weapons after defeat of US-armed Harakat Hazm rebels - article On the other hand, I'm afraid soon we might gonna have same situation in Europe within couple of years. Dogs of war are persistent and they desperatley need another big conflict in Europe. Some NATO members already fullfiled the demands from the top to increase their military defense budgets to at least 2% of GDP. Okay, I wouldn't mind about that if there is real and serious threat in Europe from the outside, but let's be honest, only threat in Europe are the radicals, no matter are they Christian or Muslim and no matter where they come from. Mainstream media shouldn't make the same mistake twice, and they should speak and report about these people and their ideology in right and honest way. Sooner or later, thoose guys will be seriously armed. Over 100 US armored vehicles roll into Latvia, NATO flexes muscles in Europe - article
  20. MP3/WAV/FLAC: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/jaraluca-perpetuum-mobile Neogoa returns in 2015 with Perpetuum Mobile, the debut album by Polish project JaraLuca, featuring 8 previously unreleased tracks. With this release JaraLuca showcases his style: acidic Goa trance music with groovy psytrance influences, perfect for dance floors. All tracks written and produced by Łukasz Zając (Poland). Mastering by Stryder at Beavernest Atop Studios (Belgium), with artwork design by Richpa at Neogoa Design (Croatia)
  21. What matters the most, at least to me personally is the fact that many people outside the Goa trance circle or even better psychedelic trance in general are very keen to check this album and download it when it comes out. We had couple of streamings already and when you hear the complete thing, you really can feel something magical, with three years or so that has been put into thoose 90 minutes of music... and people recognize that. I don't have any doubts about this release, it has been on my playlist for so much time that I consider it to be a classic already, especially knowing the fact how many different people were connected through Kolovrat in it's creative process. I guess it is the core/essence of this release, connecting people.
  22. Full Kolovrat samples here: https://soundcloud.com/neogoa/kolovrat Neogoa is proud to present the new upcoming album by Lunar Dawn duo entitled 'Kolovrat'. Since the release of Blessings From Irij single and remix album, Lunar Dawn defined their new material, being mostly inspired by colorful ancient Slavic folklore, mythology and rich culture. Kolovrat has been crafted during the 3 years time-frame with 10 previously unreleased tracks, including two collaboration works (with well-known Croatian ethno/neofolk band - Svarica and beautiful downtempo song 'Morana' featuring Jasmina on vocals). Prepare yourself for unique experience of Goa trance music created with playfulness, emotion and passion, things that are typical for Balkan peninsula. 23. It's sad to see such things, but let's be honest, the biggest fault is on the NATO and western countries, who financed and trained moderate opposition during the Arab Spring, but in the end thoose people were just a bunch of radicals and relligious fanatics mostly coming from petro-dollar states, led by Saudi Arabia. These savages doesn't respect their own religion or culture and they're destroying mosques in Syria and Iraq, aswell. I'm glad that muslim people recognized that and condemned the acts of inhumanity of IS.
