  1. 2 times I entered the site, I got an alarm from my antivirus/spybot and one time the whole page was actually replaced by a guy from turkey. I do not get any warnings at the moment, so I guess it is clean.
  2. plus there seems to be some problems with hackers who put malware on that site - which is also a shame.
  3. what about Newworldaquarium or Aroy Dee?
  4. here's some stuff i like, but unfortunately it's not that typical... 5. i just want to say, before someone implies something in that vain, that i highly respect creative commons and free art on the internet. when there is a donate option, i use it.
  6. honestly, i like your current concept better. i do not like to install special software just to be able to download something. this is actually where apple fails big time also with that itunes filth and their bonjour spyware software.
  7. is there still a possibility to buy this CD? any help appreciated!
  8. according to IFPI it was 20% and rising at the end of 2008 worldwide (see: http://www.ifpi.org/content/section_statistics/index.html). whatever the real numbers are (and for sure they differ greatly among the countries), if it is as low as you say or as high as IFPI says - fact is, there are people willing to pay for digital downloads. period thus any label can decide whether they want to offer that or not.
  9. I am with Basilisk on this one. You limit your customer-spectrum if you just do CDs nowadays. Regardless if you offer paid downloads or not, your music will turn up on the internet either way. Actually I think, as there are quite a lot of honest people in the world, who are willing to pay for MP3/FLAC or WAV and support the music, labels who do not offer their customers legal paid downloads are simply dumb (sorry to say it that drastical). And it is so easy to set up a tiny shop on your website like this for example: http://www.fluid-digital.co.uk/
  10. the field rotation track completely blew me away! definitely someone to keep your ears on. there seems to be an EP from him coming too.
  11. ya ok, maybe i used the wrong word for it... if you are interested in an "official release" of this track, you should maybe not give the track out in better quality now, but send it to some newschool-goa label or they even contact you (because they read this thread or so). the track is really good. with proper mastering it could easily end up on a quality compilation. maybe this track should just be directed to the hands of suntrip, cronomi, phototropic, ektoplazm, etc.? at least one or two of those obviously already read the thread...
  12. so actually, is it available in higher/high quality like 320kbps or FLAC? psytracks has 192kbps. if that is the current release, no problem, but if it is available in better qual, please let us know. BTW: this thread is really entertaining to read if you are not involved in the discussions - sorry
  13. your last album was a psytrance-bomb and i think was one of the best 10 albums last year. this one now...well i need to re-listen to it some time, but it sounds awesome just from listening through it the first time. i definitely hear some black sun empire / equivallentium influence. paired with your psytrance sounds and pads this really sounds intriguing and individual. this could easily occur on a professional label. personal favourite atm is "vaporized". geile scheibe
  14. listen to the following BPC tracks which go in a similar direction as the beforementioned track: - Generator (Blueprint for Survival) - Antidote (Blueprint for Survival) - Intrigue (Pulse 4 compilation) - Xoco (different current compilations) - Cyclothymic (Blueprint for Survival) - Suffocate Bullet (with Planet Slink on the Black Rhino compilation) FTW you can listen to them all on youtube...
  15. so, where do you buy it from, psyshop does not seem to carry the CD anymore. is their any digital distribution like juno or so (maybe planned)? would be wise
  16. thanks guys! i should have known this track
  17. Hi, does anyone know the artist and title of this track? Unfortunately there is no info whatsoever in the video and I have no youtube account. Thanks for your help!
  18. first off, sorry, i do not know what the track name is. but it is awesome - i want to know that also. i checked all resources in the net and was not able to find it, so i guess it is an unreleased track. goasia is a user here, maybe you want to ask him: http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php?/topic/52482-goasia-free-morning-track/page__hl__goasia__fromsearch__1 BTW: it is not the track from that thread also. PS: quite funny to see afgin hopping around in front of the crowd in the video.
  19. i am not sure what you mean according to "MAXIMAL", but if you look for bangin' stuff you might like to check out christian wünsch, reeko, phase, oscar mulero, go hiyama, grovskopa, elektrabel, mike dehnert and the likes. still this is "kind of" minimal-techno in the surgeon/regis downwards style. or check out my favourites, the 65D mavericks. dunno if that is what you are looking for, to be honest.
  20. count me in, i'd like to also buy them. bought the CD the day it was released and didn't know about the extra tracks for the limited one.
  21. i always understood this compilation this way and the second CD as a bonus. the price is 12 EUR and that's the same as every other single CD in shops. i agree that they are not all great. but still, i think that 3 to 4 of the 7 are really good (see review). but of course, it is a matter of taste. i love electronic music and am not strictly bound to just goa. actually i do like that 2 of these tracks are EBM. i do not really agree with that completely. sure, you can get these tracks more easily than the UFK ones and on CD - and if you bought them when they were released you would have no problem at all. but even the pulse compilation for antidote would cost 20 quid - and there was no legal download available for that track until 2 weeks ago. it sure is a marketing technique. on the other hand i am not sure if those 3 bonus tracks are really that good. the originals (2 of them freely available on the flying rhino website) are no burners. definitely agree
  22. just tried that out: http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php?/topic/54706-deviant-electronics-brainwashing-is-childs-play/ i guess it would work to program a script that would change all reviews to a poll, rather than doing all manually.
  23. i like the use of percentages, but i have my doubts with a color scheme. the one presented could be more logical. either linear in the choice of colors or more related to the "traffic light" system. you would always have to check what the color means if red is "POWERFUL", but orange is not "STRONG" but "MILD". it would be feasible, that only the "POWERFUL" and "STRONG" releases are highlighted in different colors - i wouldn't really care if an album or EP is "MILD" or "WEAK" - wouldn't check out either of it.
