Personally I'm waiting for some psy trance on SACD or DVD-A. I wish I had a Shpongle album in SACD. I'm curious ukiro, what kind of stereo do you have? You are right, vinyl is better, but the qualtiy to price ratio is not. CD's offer higher quality at a much cheaper price. Once you reach a certain point, CD's can no longer compete ith vinyl. If everyone had the cash to blow on an expensive system, then we wouldn't be having this debate. But for some people, the quality of a CD on their sony boombox is more then enough to satisfy them. And isn't that what really matters? They are the one's listening so it only matters what sounds best to them.

Not to mention cheaper most likely. And I really don't feel like waiting for it to get shipped from Japan, thats probably another 2 weeks after. Man oh man will we ever get this f***** album?

I love angelic particles. By far my favorite song ever.

I like the colorful inlyay better then the front cover, oh well. It's not like you have to stare at the cd cover while you listen. I just hope the album is good, I will be very disappointed if its a dud.

the focal series is fucking amazing....i love it, though for a fraction of the cost the polk lsi series really holds its own. i A/Bed the jm lab focals bookshelves and the polk lsi9's and id have to say i loved them both...the jm lab was a bit nicer but the polks are less cash, soooo, ya know lol

their new album seems different to me, like more mainstream or something, especially cities of the furture. i think id have to say i liked their older stuff much better. the new album art is really cool tho

well to get the thread back on track I'd have to say Hallucinogen - Angelic Particles, the entire freakin song. I love this song and will never get enough of it Bluetech - Prophetic Sines also a great track, i like it much better then the rest of the bluetech stuff. Shpongle - Shpongle Spores this is one of the most hypnotizing songs i have ever listened to. can't relax? listen to this song.

you guys are arguing over who used samples better....am i the only one who finds this strange? your music is pretty good asura, but i don't know how you can compare it to shpongle, thats like comparing classic rock to death metal. maybe im missing something but sounds like two different types of music to me.

i just checked out twisted's website and on the homepage it says shpongle 3 will be released 11.5.05.....now im from america so that means november 5th 2005 but in the uk isnt that may 5th 2005? i hope so haahaa, novemember is tooooo far away.

you might not be able to tell a difference between compressed formats and .wav at low volume levels on computer speakers, but put the same songs on with a nice system and crank the volume. when the clipped wav's in the compressed formats send your woofers flying across the room, u will be able to tell a difference.

dvd's are mastered in 5.1 channel dolby format usually, some 6.1, some DTS and so on. you are trying to record a 6 channel signal using 2 channels. go into the audio setup of your dvd player when you put in a movie or whatever and select the stereo setting. you can still use the optical out however it will only be outputting L&R signals. You could also just use the analog out. im not positive that this is your problem but sounds like it is. i hope i helped

EQing poorly mastered songs leads to distortion and blown speakers, an equalizer will have the best effect on a well mastered song

its very nice, very chill. i prefer my songs alittle more climatic but if you like that style then stick with it good job

new types of cd medium?? like SACD or DVD-A? that would be fing amazing. i sent an email to the record label suggesting that, but didnt get a reply and doubted they even read it. where did you hear they were releasing it on a newer format of cd? and where can i find music form bluetech? i live in america so dont say a music shop haahaa

I can't wait for sphongle 3, and if thats it then im definitely buying the CD asap. it most definitely has a hallucinogen/shpongle sound to it but maybe its just someone trying to imitate? i would also like to know what radio station u were istening to because that sounded awesome
