Somnesia - Blast Of Colors

It's hard to say anything else other than a +1 to the rest. I think this is the strongest yet compilation from phototropic. Some tracks I'd like to point out that were really good were Hypnotic Signal's atmospheric Cosmic Sphere, Blackstarrfinale's debut track Cassiopeia with it's crazy spiraling melodies, and Alieanapia's Inner Poison with it's dark forest atmosphere. Also one of the strongest Amithaba's tracks is on this comp. But Sky Technology's track is the best track on this comp for sure. The sounds, the melodies, the style it's really fresh from what I've heard lately. The liquidy/bubbly style really lifts it up to a higher level. It's quite a fascinating execution and really hanging in the balance of being a cheesecake or a superb track, which from the latter it is. The rest were ok-good aswell but those I wanted to point out. Surprises from newcomers is always a pleasure. Edit: I'm really loving the Arronax track too, very spacey theme.

It truly is a good time to be listening to goa!

Incredible just incredible. There's twists, there's turns, there's dynamics, there's a whole new layer of pure freshness in this music. A hallmark in electronic music. Hybrid outdid themselves. This album is not what I expected nor did I want, but unlike in Filteria's case, this even better than I predicted. But bearing in mind, this not background music. You need concentration and actually good hardware to get the most out of it. And the bass can be extremely dirty and deep. Love this new approach from Hybrid.
