  1. +1 Let's close it down for a month to see if it helps... Then we can close it fully afterwards, if everything go as planned
  2. I feel exactly the same way. I try to focus on the bassline and just let the rest of the music come to me, that usually helps for a start.. Then when you're inside, you can forget about analyzing
  3. +1 Murphy, you shouldn't be so surprised every time people have an opinion different than yours And again you twist what is being said...
  4. Cool thanks for the recommendations, i'm allways open for new things Keep it up mayn
  5. I dunno really, except that Synsun uses cubase I use cubase as well, i like how it's build and how it works compared to FL. The automation section in cubase is much better, plus i've gotten used to working with it. But FL is supporting vst's, so in theory there really isn't that big of a difference there i suppose... It support vst's, midi sequencing, sidechaining, mastering section ect, so I don't see why it should be more or less usable than any other program... I think it depends on what you've desided to use, and what you're most comfortable with.... About reason 4: It doesn't support vst's, therefor it's pretty useless to me as a stand-alone software... But the Redrum and NN-XT advanced sampler are awesome(plus the sample-banks for both machines), so I like to rewire reason with cubase
  6. Ofcourse it's not out of the question, I was just taking a wild guess But if the helicopter is higher in level and it is in the same frequency range as the rest, it will "overlap" them, and the other audio will become unnoticable, so it sounds like a compression, but really just is frequency interferrence.. I'm not saying it is the case here, but it could be
  7. If the volume is way to high and clipping it can sound like an over compression as far as i remember from my n00b state in FL I doubt that he uses compression if he don't know what a low-cut or high-pass filter is
  8. +1 Xtra strong viagra pills for sale if anyone is interested, press the link
  9. high-pass OR low-cut You want the low frequencies gone. Set the low-cut to cut everything below 100-250hz, or set the high-pass filter to process everything OVER 100-250hz Play around with it until it sounds nice. You can lower your bass with an equalizer around 300-600hz to make more room for other sounds in that area Edit: this isn't the best example (but the best one i could find) Here you see a EQ set to low cut. You can see the curve goes down in the low end of the frequencies.
  10. yep, low-cut at 100-250hz, that should work And lower your mixer volume so it doesn't clip (the red indicator lights up)
  11. It support's the same vst's as cubase, logic or live ect... So what's the difference?
  12. I didn't know which word to use, sorry about that

+1 really nice movie Ong bak 2: Martial arts movie from thailand. A follow-up to the great ong bak 1 movie. THis one is FULL of action, actually the movie is a qlimax ALL the way through the movie (which isn't a good thing) and the plot is rediculous, but does stuff like this matter when you just want to see some blood? 7/10 for the awesome fightscenes
  14. Got it on my shelf, was planning to read it soon... Borrowed it from my aunt, she says it's an awesome book!! Her recommendations have been cool so far so I'll trust her on this one as well Btw have you read Siddhartha? Also by Mr Hesse, i get the idea that you will like it Pretty "psychedelic" feeling all the way through the book... It surtainly gave me something think about
  15. Wazup Karan how's it hanging? First of, i don't listen to breakbeat (except when it's from a psy-album)... So I wont know anything technical about it... But I like your track (except for a few "flaws") The rythm seems off in the first part of the track... Something is off in the Bass/drum/bassdrum devision, but Jikkentekki already commented on that, so I don't have anything to add on that part. At 3:35 it gets really interesting for me The glass-like synth you drop in about 20 seconds later sounds a little highpitched on my monitors though, maybe I would "tone it down" a little, EQ or maybe just another synth that sounds better? Again at 4:10 the Waowaooahh synth sounds just a liiiitle bit out of rythm, but if you correct it I think it will sound awesome The idea/progression is interesting, and the acidlines pretty cool as well BTW Lemmi I can hear a bass
  16. +1 You know when a movie is soo bad, that it actually becomes intertaining and funny? Your music is that movie Keep the humour in it and improve your mixing skills, thats my advice I seriously can't stop laughing, this is even better than HNJO.... genious
  17. I mix that up as well sometimes... But s/g-lide basically means the same thing doesn't it?
  18. It's terrible But because I absolutely hate hardstyle/hardcore, so don't take my answer serious Edit: the Paradox track Kryll posted is even worse than yours Lemmi
  19. What did you guys expect with a cover like that?
  20. Just finished Charles Bukowski's Ham on Rye... What an awesome book
  21. I would like this one myself instead of a mixer http://www.tcelectronic.com/LevelPilot.asp
