There have been posted in only 4 topics this whole sunday? There have been posted in 6 topics if you count the day before this with! Psynews is going down without the off-topic.... It's boring, since it seems it keeps alot of people away.. Yeah there was a boom in the general section at first, but now it's going cold.. People stop visiting very often, because nothing new happened since last time! Shure, people who's not here for the psytrance can piss off, but you have to talk about something ells as well, there really isn't THAT much to talk about in general, that it can keep a whole community going! Please think about it, and re-open the off-topic, im getting bored here!

Yeah very fresh sound I haven't got any favorites yet, im still getting to know the album... I push play from track 1 and it goes all the way to the end without a single boring track. Really great stuff! And NEMO, this must be something for you!

And BTW, it's (IMO) VERY difficult to compose and play those big goa melodies, sometimes 2-3 or 4 melodies on top of eachother in perfect ballance. So the creativity is just placed a different place than where you look

Isn't that sort of sound and melodies what defines the whole genre? If you change it, it becomes another type of psytrance

Like with any other electronic dance music, it tends to sound the same if you don't like it or fully enjoy it. You know, if you don't dive deep enough into the music, you won't feel the or see the differenses.. Like many people say about fullon(intro,1section,break,buildup,climax,outro), or with electro(i think it sounds the same allmost 90% of the times) where as my friend(who enjoys electro) think the music I hear sounds the same

Re-did the baseline, small changes in effects and removed a synth to make it more "room-y" It's called "Ass-tricks" now and is still in the bottom of the tracklist

Okay, let me re-phrase it then... NORMAL people don't see colors when listening to music, except if you have done some psychedelics(and that is only if you are lucky, i've never tried it ) nyways, it must be a cool disorder to have... I envy you How does the color show? In the air, or do things turn purple(for example) or what happens? I've read about synesthesia, but it didn't explain exactly what happens, except it's a "disease" that makes the persons senses blend in on each other, like a particular smell when you see a item, or like you say: colors when listening to music.

1. Morning/Dark balance Little of this, little of that. 2. Maximal/Minimal balance 100%maximal 3. Trance/Techno balance Don't understand this question.. 4. Genre balance 40% modern psy, 40% darkpsy, 20% originality and madness 5. BPM 140-150 6. Signature ? 7. Lenght Don't care as long as it's over 6 minutes 8. Melodies Wierd melodies... Off-pitch melodies... Simple but effective melodies... Don't like the big goa melodies like Pleaidians and so... 9. Bassline Deep, phat and pounding... Don't mind if it's playfull, but as long as it's driving and phat, i don't care if it's monotonious. 10. Percussion Status Poweful kick that drags, pitch and play in the breaks. Some fast percussion and hihats, but it shouldn't sound to "real". I like the mechanical sound for drums. 11. Intro/Outro Don't care... It can be nice with a good intro to set the mood of the rest of the track/story, but it can be done brilliant without it. 12. Layers Never realized what you mean by layers, but if it is alot of synths on top of eachother(Like a lead, a deep growling synth, tweaky synths and alot of pads and soundeffects at the same time, then YES PLEASE 13. Build Ups/Climaxes Build ups is nice, but i like tracks where you just get sucked in, like it's building up all the way through the track, constantly changing layers, changing small things, so it turns into a big difference, and i like tracks to be surprising, so you don't allways see whats comming (like you do with a climax for instance). 14. Twists/Breaks/Turns/Changes Yes!!!!! Alot of twists and changes.. But so you still have the same feeling through out the track.. Like your beeing thrown around in another dimension (but the same dimension of course) 15. Spoken samples/Singing/Real Organs Voices that says wierd, funny or creapy stuff, yes Don't like singing, and don't like idiotic samples that have no meaningful place in the track. Perfect synaesthesia color: Black and read(don't know what you mean, but these colors descripe my taste in the ideal psytrance track(not talkin progressive or ambient here) Tracks that fit my description the best: Penta-Perfect sunday PS: This is descriping my ideal PSYTRANCE track.. It has nothing to do with the rest of my taste in electronic music.

Haha, I can imagine. I allready had plans for the 5 first tracks, so quickly had to select some tracks i like, when i saw this thread I can try make the last three tracks a little different, maybe change on or add another track?? If im allowed to do that?

Ahahah YEEAHH this is some goooood shit Amazing blend of styles, very psychedelic(IMO) and just beautifully produced! Highly recommended if your not scared of a little influence in the music

My brother is crazy about this album. I myself found it juuuust a little boring.. Nice fullon, but nothing ells IMO.. It would be madness on the dancefloor though
