I'll post more when i get home, don't remember much right now (VERY early in the morning for me ) (all fullon mentioned on the list is "serious" fullon )

I haven't done any automation panning yet, the panning you hear, comes from effects. Never really understood what sidechaining is, but i guess it's about time i look into it, thanks for reminding me. Exactly, like you clean out the muddy sound by doing it.. If it's peaking TOO high, try to ajust the synthesizer

I'll listen to your track tomorrow, going to bed now If you want to eq your kick, try boost it between 5000-8000 hrz, and lowcut it at 40hrz or lower(the lowcut doesn't allways work) And you should do the same lowcut with your bass... it's wierd, but it can really bring out the other frequencies(the important ones ) That's at least how i do it Probably theres another way

Like i said, i don't know what psychedelic is anymore But no, i wouldn't consitter trentemøller for being psychedelic, not when sober.. Maybe after a joint, but then again, we are back to darkpsy Dark psytrance.. It's in the fucking name of the genre man darkpsy! Some artists actually makes very intelligent and highly creative music... Ofcourse if it's highko, or other stuff like that i understand your statement, but theres brilliant psychedelic trance music amongst the dark genre

Haha, I don't know how to disguss this further with you, you are VERY annoying right now But i don't really know exactly what psychedelic is, but if i have to answer, then no psytrance is really psychedelic to me when im not high, i just like the feeling it gives me... The escape from reality into my own thoughts... Into the universe of the music... Slightly different feeling i get from darkpsy, but basically the same

Darkpsy is mainly pretty hillarious if you ask me, at least when you are on psychedelics The wierd way they stop and "glitch" the WHOLE track, not just a single sound and the brutal startups, the pictures i get of a old growly man, the sample use and totally wierd things they say like : A 4 beat break with a guy screaming: I LOVE PANCAKES, or a native american making wierd sounds, or take The nommos album for example, that really made me laugh hard! I also tend to get pictures of a mad old man, yelling the noises(what you postford groupies call psyfarts) and pointing fingers while stomping around to the lovely deep 150bpm atmosphere(sounds far out, but it happens every time ) Darkpsy is for laughing and collercoasting IMO

I was tripping on 2cb last weekend... I listened to The nommos, psykovsky and Derango(special thanks to a certain member ) and it was the most psychedelic experience i've had in a looong time... We put on something ells, tried many different types of psy, but ended back up with the dark stuff... Everything ells just didn't seem to blow in your head and fuck with your mind like the mentioned artists did... We disgussed this before, and NO ONE could come up with a reasonable explanation on what PSYCHEDELIC music is... It's up to each person, wich music gives you the most psychedelic experience

Easy-E has NOTHING to do with todays hiphop.. Totally different flow, different beats and different lyrics.. I understand you think it sounds the same, if you don't listen to hiphop very much though Like all psytrance sounds the same to someone who don't study it or is veryvery familiar with it But i see what you mean Nemo, but things change.. Take an air-plain for example. The first airplanes was made out of wood, with a regular gazoline engine. No electronics, nothing! New airplaines are made with jet engines, flying 20 times faster, made of metal and filled with the highest level of electronics known to man.. But it's still called an airplane, no? Things evolve, nomatter if you like wood better than metal But I see what all you dinosaurs (joke ) mean, you was in the scene from the beginning.... The stuff you call psytrance, is what i allways thought was named Goa. Younger generations know the music, but can't tell the difference anymore, because theres so much variation.. Take your music source like psyshop! It's supposed to be a psytrance shop right? There's tons of darkpsy and fullon.. And if you look at the genre's there, what do you see? It says "psytrance" to ALL upbeat trance on the site, nomatter if its oldschool, dark or fullon.. It's all sub genres, wich just makes things complicated and make people disguss who has the biggest insight of the scene and blah blah... But why bother using so much energy on it? Psytrance is dead to all the dinosaurs who think new stuff isn't psytrance, eventhough psytrance is psytrance to the younger generation... Thats how i see it

How much bigger did your collection grow the last few years? I can se that anything except suntrip is SHIT, all darkpsy sounds like a guy farting, ect.... It's like going into hiphop and complain that no one sounds like Easy-E anymore.. Get up to date, or take your hallucinogen and pleidians albums and get lost!

Best sentense i've read here on psynews so far I've read it 10 times now, and still don't get your point @sideeffect... and the guys who share hes opinion: What's the point of reading a review if it's allways positive? Then you KNOW that the review is: "Yeah, album of the year, 10/10" does that help you, or show any diversity in peoples opinion on the album? If anyone want to write a good/positive review because they feel different about the album, then there's plenty of space left on the forum for them Back on topic: I share Nemo's opinion on this album(shame on me to) but i deleted it as well after a couple of hours... But then again, it has to be REALLY REALLY good before im into this kind of psytrance.. So don't take my opinion for anything Pandemonium Good luck with the production! Hey, i'll try to pinpoint a few things that comes to my mind when listening to your track in progress Nice intro with the stretched voices... the part around 1:30 and a few bars forward makes me think of GMS-T3... Nice! In this part, when the fm melody start and when it stops again, it could be more flowting, and maybe some automation in the background melody... You put on the same sound again at 2:10, it would be cool if you used another sound maybe, or maybe changed the whole part? ... nice little break around 3:00, but you just put the same melody on again, this time a little more distorted... Ahhh... But at 4:00 the melody is much better, but at this point you are a little tired of listening to the same sound(if you change the part i talked about, it would change that IMO ) So all in all it needs a little more variation and automation.. I like the bass,kick,hihat composition... You just need to work a little with the soundquality.. But it's got potential! Your track 148 is nice! But what's up with the track names? hehe

Look nice, can i use the nanoKONTROL together with my m-audio midicontroller, or do you have to use them seperately(using cubase SX3). Im not shure how this works, can i use it for ALL vst instruments?
