It´s a LOVE IT for me...
Very very talented guy, it seems... The ´musicality´ of this cd is very good, if you know what I mean. I love the jazz influence there. Most vocals are very well chosen.. The vocals on the first track, though, are not really my cup of tea.. appart from that, I really dig this album
9/10

man, this album is so great!
very very good stuff.. very atmospheric stuff, big fat effects all over...
pretty slow overall, compared to normal trance, but I really like slow
the only track that I didnt dig so much, because there were too little effects and sounds was track 7..
Appart from that, I really liked all the other tracks! Impressive how antix evolved but maintained their characteristics.
Some tracks are more clubby housy (6 and 8, with those vocals and all), some are more in the prog trance area (specially track 1.. phat prog trance), some are a mixture.. but all are excellent! very recommended to all prog lovers

I also like dancing and i can dance for hours, and like seraph, i even dance at home sometimes and others ppl home too
But i cant dance fast chaotic music, i always dance with my legs accordind to the beat and my arms accordind to the effects and i beliave i am syncrhronyzed dancer as long the music doesnt go futher them 138Bpm hehehehe i am slow dancer
Observing ppl dancing is great fun indeed, i am always watching those incredible girls who can dance so slowly so sexy.... and you know what kind of a girls she is by her dance, if you know what i mean
Sometimes i observe the whole dancefloor synchronized with the music, but thats rare... Once during a Krumelur act, i saw by distance for a few minutes the whole dancefloor(only about 12-14 ppl) dancing synchronized with the music and it was quite a view, everybody looking to the floor dancing according to the beat and the sounds, no groups, no talking, everybody was alone, i finished my joint and joined them ...... very nice
I totally identified with all you said Dancing all the time, even at home, and not being able to dance with too fast music, and moving the legs to the beat and hands to the effects, and observing ppl and girls dancing, and seeing the dancefloor synchronized with music in rare times (this happened to me in Ypy Poty festival, it was amazing)
and these observing times are very nice when you go to some hill or just outside the dancefloor somewhere, sit down and smoke a joint observing it all, with a huge smile on your face.. very nice moments I remember

The Sonic Cube album is indeed a very good mix of mellow housey grooves and more trancey sounds. 2 of the guys from Sonic Cube are also known as the progressive psy project Sonnenvakuum (someone mentioned them earlier), while the last member is Tobi Wirz - better known under his soloproject Greed. He's also the owner of the label SOG Records, who have released tracks from artists like Minilogue (Son Kite sideproject), New Disco Science Alliance (Ticon sideproject), Inkfish and André Absolut.
Not really sure if it would fit the taste of the original poster though.
nice info, profane.. didnt know greed was one of the dudes from sonic cube
-
oh yeah ´sonic cube´ too... it was highly ignored, I dont know why, but some good tracks from them
like the ´Sonic Cube - Anyone in NY´ track was very very good at the time... still is pretty good actually

vibrasphere, antix, phony orphants (the older was better imo), vision and canedy, buzzmonx, emok, ticon, etc...
for some older stuff:
m sphere - roots
visual paradox - laughing dog on bog (too bad nowadays V.P. is bad full on imo)
Frogacult - Beware of the sand
etc
and then, since you like Krueger and Coyle, which borders with the house / prog house territory, I would suggest checking out other stuff like these awesome tracks (gonna say tracks, because if I say cds or vynils it will be too much to check out) :
Pig and Dan - Addiction
Nufrequency - 808 (the original, not any of the remixes or dubs)
martin h and oliver klein - club game (dj nukem remix)
nick and john dalagelis - bend up (stel and goodnewz mix)
Simon and Shaker - La Nueva
greed - sandrushka (andre absolut remix)
infusion - love and imitation

Im one of the people that will stay more time at the dancefloor, with or without having ingested any substance...
I LOVE to dance too.. but I dont dance all stomping and crazy.. The way I dance, I occupy a smaller area, just bending my knees with the beat, and moving my hand as if I was playing imaginary instruments that I hear in the tracks (like if there´s a weird synth, I imagine as if it was a real instrument, and imagine how it would be played)...
I have a lot of fun and dance for a looooong time, but im not at all one of those ´full power, in your face´ dancing people
-
-
did you try out dj nukem´s Backstage compilation?
There are some really good tracks there (I only dont like track 1 and the time ´chab vocal mix´ track), specially the one with oliver klein involved....
-
never ordered from tranceshop.... I had problems with psyshop before... psyshop is fast and good if it all works out.. but if you have any doubts or problems, the SUCK big time..
saikosounds have the best costumer service. The shipping is not so fast, but its worth it.. Now I only order from saikosounds if I can... or from backroadsmusic.com for ambient...
Im wondering if the new antix cd will be out with saikosounds, because its not announced there yet, only in psyshop..

indeed! so considering we all go to psynews gathering, it would be fun listening to each other´s sets ... I wonder how some of these more vocal tracks would work on the dancefloor... but others like thomas penton and similar are for sure party ´killas´ hehe..
yeah man, that blue haze track, its a bomb.. I love how its very ´continuous´, emotional, very very beautiful... Would like to see how the reaction in the dancefloor would be...
