Oh no, trust me . The only thing I heard from this mix is Prosect's track... Thanks abasio, I hope to hear it soon. Will give me hints on what to buy next.

VA - Opus Iridium [Suntrip Records / SUNCD10]

Who is Ajna? I've searched a little but not found anything... -
There was this awesome quote, I don't remember who said it or who had it: "Today's Psytrance is not Psytrance. I hate today's Psytrance. I love powerful psychedelic Goa Trance". I don't know if this was the exact sentence but it sure made me LOL alot . OK I stop talking in moderation topic. EDIT: as abasio pointed out, this is the 604th post. I think champagne suits the event well.

I've done 1/5 of the work

AFGIN in the israeli newspaper this weekend..

Very nice! And I didn't know about this Suntrip party! -
Your thoughts on Psytrance/dance clothing.
Go-Goa Trancer replied to TRohr's topic in General Psytrance
I liked the "mens, womens" There are some nice things there. I didn't like their trousers though... Do you know where it is possible to have a shirt fully "decorated"? And not with a logo or something. -
I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but anyway: is there gonna be an official "Best of 2007" thread like past years?
-
I'd say Chi-AD - Virtual Spirit is the best. I also like Anno Domini but not really Infinitism. For atmospheric Trance with Goa elements + ambient + psychedelia, try Virtual Spirit. And I only know Ominus - Ominus but it roxxx!

As Insejn said, I think it's a good idea to promote the release of the Psynews compilation.

I was lucky enough to find Asura - Code Eternity in both versions, Fahrenheit Project 2 and Solar Fields - Blue Moon Station today. -
Rare vinyls that you did not know are rare
Go-Goa Trancer replied to NEMO.BOFH's topic in General Psytrance
I don't think this is a 100% right criteria. I personnaly have CDs that noone has on Discogs, but they are definitely not rare. But it's sure that if it is rare then few people will have it on Discogs. So I guess it is some kind of a necessary yet not sufficient condition. red stuff - this is more like a criteria, but hard to tell I personnaly don't have anything rare (I think). -
Wow, this is gonna be hard to find... What newspaper/websites (EDIT: other than Goa websites of course ) talk about Goa?...

I would definitely recommend Jaïa - Blue Energy. It succeeds in combining melodies, psychedelia, tribal feeling, fast and low pace tracks. One of the few complete albums to me. Check also Transwave/Total Eclipse early albums. And as a final loved album: Elysium - Dance For The Celestial Beings. Quite downtempo, but with awesome melodies and a subtle tribal vibe. Also combines ambient feeling. EDIT: and yes, your list looks good to me. Perhaps add Asia 2001 - Live also?

I'm really waiting to see what E-Mantra will make. His track on Mainspring Motion was one the weirdest (in the good sense!) and unusual Goa tracks I heard. Good luck to all the artists and I hope everything will be OK! -
Taking the road that leads to equality.. with GOD..
Go-Goa Trancer replied to Lu Bu's topic in General Psytrance
What do you think about this one: taking the road that to equality with God would mean that we, as God, are becoming immaterial. Then there are two ways of interpreting it: or we are on the verge of death, or we have a very strong spiritual experience. Or perhaps it is too obvious? -
I would definitely say Mush Mushi. The second track (which btw doesn't start at 2:23 ) I don't know.

Did you translate your review? It's a little bit... confused.

Realignment sounds absolutely out of this world! Great track! The other stuff didn't really catch me though... EDIT: and btw, do you think the sample on Realignment is the same as Shpongle - Room 23?

Contrary to what seems to be the majority, I never listened to any of OOOD stuff (heretic!). I won't vote, but I sure think Jikkenteki made some awesome stuff: An Angel Takes Flight, Warmth In Cold Places, Ambiguity, Days Of The Weak and more are all very good! Unfortunately I didn't really liked Jikkenteki's stuff on Mainspring Motion, but that's another story. And I also think this poll is a little "unhealthy". I don't think this kind of competition is good, because you can say whatever you want, some people can always feel bad/offended etc. when compared to others. But that's my point of view.

Wasn't this thread on General section?
