  4. Neogoa is proud to present you our latest release, a full length album by Lunar Dawn – The Purge. Since the release of highly-acclaimed debut album ''Kolovrat'' back in 2015 by Neogoa, Lunar Dawn has become one of the leading new Goa trance projects hailing from south-eastern Europe. During the last seven years they played around the continent – France, Switzerland, Romania, Spain, Belgium, Finland, Russia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Israel and in their home country Croatia, sharing their vision of trance music among psy-heads on the dancefloors! When global pandemic happened in early 2020, they decided to begin work on new album in their headquaters – Erotiks Studios in Mošćenica. First drafts were created soon after and their second full-lenght album The Purge was born. Both members of project Saša and Kristijan enriched this release with different musical-influences from their artistic background, from trance music as a core and foundation of the album, towards more industrial, techno, ambient and acid influences, making The Purge one of the most interesting releases Neogoa has ever put out. Authentic emotions are one of the main inspirations for The Purge – from fear and anger to love and devotion, this album puts human-being as a central figure where he confronts different situations and states of mind on his personal journey to become self-aware. Who can foretell what is next? Who can believe in next? Only you will know after the end Download or buy limited digipak via Bandcamp: https://neogoarecords.bandcamp.com/album/the-purge Tracklist: 01 - Being Into The Trance (02:58) 02 - Divisive (07:23) 03 - Loose Me (08:49) 04 - Self Aligned (05:20) 05 - Liquefactive Neurosis (07:56) 06 - My Faith (08:01) 07 - Volatile (08:41) 08 - Being In A Trance (09:07) 09 - Out Of This Place (08:19) Credits: All tracks & lyrics written by Lunar Dawn All vocals recorded & modulated by Lunar Dawn Mix & mastering by Lunar Dawn at Erotiks Studio, 44253 Cover photo taken by Maja Ilišinović Album artwork & design by Richpa

  5. Hello! New project playlist created: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkAqGLhQtsJ32najDKbzsmiqfNYNX6Se3 I would like this playlist to contain as much OLD GOA LIVE VIDEOS as there are available on YouTube. It should be a LIVE VIDEO collection - not a "live set" collection ... there are many recordings of live sets out there, but for this I want videos, i.e. moving pictures - I want to see how the DJs looked like, what equipment was there, what people were there and what they wore. (This is not so much important right now, but in a few years down the line it'll be all the more interesting for everybody, I believe... ) It's a bit tricky as to label what is old when it comes to live videos ... in my terms I'd be thinking pre-2000 but I find it seriously hard to dig up such old videos, that's why you find a System 7 one from 2009 in there for example ... and Son Kite from 2004 ... I was not sure whether to keep them in there, but at the moment it's so few videos that I leave them in ... and if you have stuff up to 2005 or even later, hell, just recommend it, I'd be thankful. I can separate lists if we get enough videos - but I'm not gonna do that if we are still under 30... Maybe you know more stuff? Help me extend the playlist, post your suggestions here and I will include them and be thankful cheers

  8. My personnel top (per style): -Melodic/melancholic: California Sunshine, ManWithNoName (Teleport album) & Electric Universe, -Funky: KoxBox & Green House Effect, -Acidic: Bassline Baby, Color Box & Hallucinogen, -Dark: Xenomporh & UX, -Psytrance (not mistaken with Full On): Pigs In Space, Wizzy Noise (the 90's unrl tracks), MFG (album The message) & Etnica (from '97-'99). What they all have in common (imo)? a ) Good production - not clean but clear and distinct with always deep/organic kicks and baselines with a solid melody and climaxes/melodies that always have the right sound, b ) Good mixing skills - the music layers interact always to form a whole, c ) A unique sound - everyone knows who made the track, there is a big sense of identity, there is no urge to imitate what is popular, d ) Important: not loud, not noisy, but balanced in sound and volume: not need to make music that (only) 'sounds good on a big system' - lol! e ) All are deeply trancy in effect on the mind when you listen to the details, there is a trance journey they take you on, the tracks tell a story like a book. They are really composing music from out a very rich musical background (the psy rock from the 70's, the synths and music styles from the 80's where the Goa-blend comes from) ... and not programming notes into a computer or simulating an existing sound from the '90s or so on. -Newer goa (not a diffrent style, just another period & in no particular order and to my personnel taste): Artha, M-Run, Ufomatka, Ra, Lapsus, Morphic Resonance & Kethzal. I feel these really contributed some unique energy and their own interpretation to the scene that I think these guys music will last the coming generations and beyond.
