  1. Past hour
  2. This is my go to album every time I go to see the Jellyfish room at the Enoshima aquarium. It is just perfect aquatic ambient that definitely deserves more attention than it's got.
  3. This is easily the best thing from Demon Tea Recording. Seriously check out their later stuff, it is.....interesting
  4. Boom Devli - Call Her Name
  5. I listened to this for the first time in a decade the other day and it was lush and warm and nostalgic. Why hadn't I listened to it for more than a decade? Well there's just so much music you know, and I stupidly followed the smartphone crowd into streaming music but I have since tried to regress myself back to more analogue days and I am so glad to rediscover such gems like this. Only one comment on this review....clearly and undiscovered gem for many people.
  6. Looking forward to the 2035 update! EDIT: On topic - great release!
  7. When I was 35 folks, as you can see I was a real character. I will still stand by everything I said almost a decade ago and almost 2 decades ago (fuck me I am feeling old) This is and always will be an amazing buy. 3 different mixes: Chilled, Mid-tempo, Stompin'; and they are all absolutely amazing. It doesn't look as cheap as it once was on Discogs but I still bet you can get it for much less than it's worth.
  8. Atmos - Always in Control -Well here comes another one for a psychic blowjob 😂
  9. Definitely. Artists are damned if they change and damned if they stay the same. Trolls will always want to complain. I've seen plenty of artists go in a direction that I didn't like but good for them, if that is what they want to make, more power to them. It always made me laugh listening to people complain that an artist had "sold out" like they wouldn't make more poppy music if someone drove a dump truck full off money up to their house
  10. Today
  11. Innovation is something that happens when you're younger, so I don't expect much innovation, but hope for even more of the sound they made mastered and perfected over the years, and judging by the samples, we willl get just that. Many have tried to copy their sound, but none have come even close.
  12. Totally agree with this logic and I said similar back when people were still seriously discussing the possibility of a 3rd Hallucinogen album. Just because hundreds of others have copied a style doesn't mean we can't enjoy a few more iterations from the masters that began it all. It's not like we're forced to sit listening to all the other derivations on repeat year after year even though many here probably choose to. Nostalgia is a big factor when an artist goes back to their roots. Also remember for everyone who complains that they have heard it all before, there will be plenty of old timers who would complain if it was too different from the early stuff. I just say why not have both, across multiple albums or in one.
  13. Honestly the 3min previews are pretty good imo... I mean I don't hear anything innovative, it's still the same "Another World" type of trance that has been copied to death by Newschool Goa artists over the past 20 years or so, but nevertheless they are the founding fathers of this style so I'd say if anybody's entitled to create it, they should be the ones.

  15. I'm just waiting for the cd version. It's probably going to be uninteresting anyway.
  16. Welcome to parenthood @RTP😲 Sounds like a rough start but moving in the right direction is good. When I say "unbridled joy" what I really mean is a love I never thought I had in me. There are difficulties and frustrations. My wife and daughter do not get on at all, which makes it really difficult as my wife doesn't work and is home with her all day, every day. My daughter was diagnosed with OCD this year and it is affecting her food. She needs to weigh everything before eating it to convince herself that she's not eating too much (the huge weight loss doesn't convince her of this) and it's a real struggle to get her to eat enough. My wife's branch of angry parenting just doesn't help. I think if I was the stay at home dad and she worked, then this never would have happened.
  17. That's a bit out of my price range 😕
  18. This sounds like a great idea. Rotten timing for me as it's too early in the AM for me to ever tune in. I clicked the link and it just said that nothing is playing. Looks like anyone can add videos to the stream. Is that right? Nice concept, except I never watch music video or listen to music from my PC
  19. Yesterday
  20. Hi, welcome back, here is your "thread exhumed" award Today is something in the air ... abasio comes back, RTP gets his act together and tries something new ... I don't think it ended in 2012. It was pretty fun for me still up to 2020 - where I am not yet sure if I have not died of Covid... Honestly. Most significant thing I know from 2020 was coughing blood while having Covid. Scary! I had it pretty bad. You can find the stuff I wrote on here about it. But my old life truly ended last year as my daughter was born - three months + 10 days early. Everything upside down since then. I still have to get to that "unbridled joy" people talk about - but I can feel it's there and it will eventually come to me also, we are moving in the right direction now cheers!
  21. There, I posted it. Not gonna step back now. Curious if I can keep it up, how much it will cost ... but whatever. S-RANGE album is already playing live on Jungle TV right now cheers
  22. Hello community, with so many failed projects in the past, it's time to concentrate on stuff that I can do and this is one more of them: Every LAST Tuesday of the month, in the evening (GMT) starting with today, Right F*cking Now (track reference: Prex - R.F.N.) , I will be enqueuing Psytrance on JungleTV! The "Tunesday" title is a take on the project they had, which was called Tunesday and which was about enqueuing music videos, they cancelled it months ago (and everybody was sad about it). I just realized, if nobody gonna step up, it will stay dead. This goes for many things. And I will step up doing things I can. I will be enqueuing just psytrance and psybient tracks, all that I can find on YT that I like. Maybe even a bit cross genre. If you like my playlist that I did earlier, you gonna like it. I am going to keep this up as long as my Bananos last! When I go broke, it'll be over and it will have been fun URL: https://jungletv.live/ Will be there every LAST TUESDAY OF THE MONTH around 21:00 GMT and enqueue some stuff, especially if the queue is empty - but don't take me too straight for it, can be earlier, can be later, but I will enqueue something for sure and I very much will like to have some S-RANGE among it aswell, you know me Let's see. Maybe we can even hang out there in chat? One more thing: JUNGLE TV is a democratic platform in the sense that everybody who has Bananos and spends them there can "bomb" the content by posting unskippable annoying things, flaming in chat ... all stuff that is moderated here can happen there, be wary of that! Even Bruce can come back there (who remembers?). I am going to do it nonetheless, I don't care. Videos eventually play, they just move down in the queue. Let's just see if we are interesting enough that people hijack or bomb us, I am curious? At this moment, every exposure is good exposure. We will be wiser some months down the line. My name there is "RTP RECORDS" but also be wary: somebody may also impost as me. In the crypto world, much is possible for those who have sufficient funds. If you want to engage with me in a genuine way, do it here (Oh and yes you can earn Bananos there. The enqueuing costs me Bananos and you as spectator can earn a share after each enqueued video. Innovative concept, in my opinion. But the crypto is entirely optional - you can also watch without engaging, just feel free to do whatever you like.) cheers

  24. It's amazing how well some albums age, ths still sounds as fresh as it did almost 20 years ago
  25. We need updates for 2025 What are you guys using to listen to your Psy? I finally converted to digital. Haven't actually bought a CD in years, although I do still have my collection of 1000s to annoy my wife with. That's right, they cannot be trashed or sold and will stay here FOREVER. I am currently using the Sony NW-ZX707 DAP with FLAC files through the balanced input with: Final Audio A6000 IEMs for when I am out Sennheiser HD 560s Open Back Headphones for when at home alone Both have great attention to detail and both are super comfortable for long listening sessions. The A6000s sound so good but are super light, that I barely notice that I am wearing them. For an IEM they have great soundstage, and the bass still reverberates. The Sennheiser HD 560s are lush. They are my first open backed headphones so I don't have a whole lot to compare them to, but the soundstage is huge, they are super comfortable and I am hearing more in my music than I ever had before. I really love these and the A6000s. I don't listen much to music on speakers anymore. My wife is a big stick-in-the-mud and doesn't want anything over a pathetic volume, so unlike her father, I won't spend $500,000 on a pair of speakers, all I have are some Bose Soundlink Flex. They are really good for basic listening if you don't need party sound, and boy am I not allowed party sound 😔
  26. What if the world actually did end in 2012 and now we're living in some purgatory hellscape or something? Does anyone remember being happy after December 21st 2012? Happier than you were before? I think not. The world has gone to hell and the doomsday cultists were right, we just didn't notice 😂 Actually my daughter was born in 2015 and has brought unbridled joy to my life. Got a dog last year and he is awesome! If this is the apocalypse then I am all for it 👍
  27. 19 and a half years on and I am still really digging this release 😊 Dakini records are still quite active on bandcamp but their music is a bit expensive for me. I did buy their Suno Mix Tapes, amazing how good AI music can sound 😲
