reading this topic I just realized i don't really know the genre... sure i didn't like this album but i was wondering if I missed a few good Nitzhonot albums or compilations, since, to be honest I never really tried to explore this style.

What are the best releases ?

Back then i liked a lot nitzhogoa, but never nitzhonot. Later, my taste left nitzhogoa, but i think, now i may return 'cause i find good nitzhogoa more psychedelic than most neogoa today.

There is a comparison that would be accurate here, something that a "true heavy metal" critic once said about "poser": "metallers often mock poser, but it is the spirit of poser that can give an air of change to the tired heavy metal".

Holy Men ‎– Intelligence Genetics (my fave always, but you can look for his later stuff)

SHIDAPU - The Light Of Shidapu

Luminus ‎– Journey Into Your Dream

Call it uplifting, call it nitzhogoa, you 're in great NRG

Masa ‎– Just Inside & Cyan vs. Psycho Meditation ‎– Transistance

Shiva Space Technology Israel Vol. 2 - The 6th Chakra

Eyal Barkan ‎– Good Morning Israel

Transistance 2 - Electrobuddhism

Eyal Barkan & Holymen ‎– Over The Sunrise

Excalibur - Janana

This too had a massive acceptance, but i don't know it - Shiva Space Technology Israel 3

Ptzatzot also had a strong reputation

Most i 'm stating here are between nitzogoa and nitzho, with few mindtwisting exceptions like...

Try theses (my favorite list)

TRIVIA "Speed Of Sound"

http://www.discogs.com/Trivia-Speed-Of-Sound/release/347112

ONE MAN GAME "Total Trance"

http://www.discogs.com/One-Man-Game-Total-Trance/release/238045

I don't want to nitpick but One man game is totally not, not, nithzonot, not even close, That's 100% morning goatrance. Even the baseline is soft...

Those are the same guys from mystica...

On topic:

I would go for the the "pzatzot" releases, even astrix the fullon artist is their.

And "Space buddha" started with nithzonot and he has always been a master of melodies...

Cyan is great to indeed...

I was never in to shiva shidapu but some tracks are indeed very good...
