All the 4 albums have strong tracks (only Astral Files is slightly weaker).... but I do agree with you: T.I.T. is the best :)

Trust In Trance is also my favourite. Love the more raw sounding stuff from them 💕

Sorry, I meant Dancing Galaxy, not Another World. Everyone in this forum and social media refer to Dancing Galaxy as THE album. Am I wrong?

I bought Another World not long after it came out and played it loads. It remains my favorite of theirs but for many years it was the only album of theirs I had heard. I first listened to Dancing Galaxy a few years ago and I couldn't seem to get into it. I am listening again now and finding it pretty good, although not stunning. However, if I heard it back when it came out I would have most likely loved it.

My impression half an hour into Dancing Galaxy is that it has some nice wibbley acid but the overall feel comes across a tiny bit more clubby for some reason, like I am listening to club anthems, than Another World to me whereas the leads in Another World really felt like a trip into space.

I am interested to find out what I will make of Trust In Trance Vol. 3.

Listening to Trust In Trance Vol. 3 now and loving it! :) Thanks for the recommendation! This could become one of my new favorites. I am getting a few early Posford vibes from some bits too.

9/10 at least...

Isn't awesome discovering and old classics you never knew existed before?

I seldom listen to (astral projection) albums. Since the dawn of digital music (be it mp3 or streaming) it's all about playlists. I've compiled my favorite tracks of theirs depending on the era / sound:

  • goa: tracks up until Dancing Galaxy
  • psy: tracks from Dancing Galaxy up until Goa Classics Remixed
  • modern psy: Goa Classics remixed and onward

I pretty much like everything they have released since Dance is the Answer, so I have high expectations for the new album.

Do you not listen to Astral Projection albums or just not albums in general?
I almost exclusively listen to albums. Even if I create a playlist, it's a playlist of albums.

I never got into Spotify because I never liked just random track after random track. AI has a loooooooong way to go before it can make a coherent DJ mix.

I listen to some old goa / psy albums now and then, but I mostly compile releases by artists I like or a special feeling or sound in the music. I don't listen to Halluncinogen's album Twisted, I listen to his tracks from that era with the Twisted sound.

I never listen to Spotify's AI generated playlist, I listen to my carefully curated playlists. 😁

I spend a lot of time digging through music and compiling playlists. I find the first Tarsis album to be mostly great, but their other albums are bland. This summer I listened to all their albums and compiled their good tracks (released after their debut) and now I have another great Tarsis album.
