Help!

Hi

Sorry to post this "newb" posting but I was wondering if any of you experts could possibly help me.

I have always had a weakness for Psy/Goa Trance and especially anything with haunting female vocals. The only example I could give you of this, is the Prodigy's "Smack my bitch up". There's a part near the end where you hear this really beautiful/haunting female asian vocals.

I've been searching the internet for any Psy/Goa Trance containing such vocals but alas to no avail.

Do any of you peeps know of any Artist or compilaion CD's that cater for my taste?

Any help would be most appreciated.

cheers.

Arimor

I'm fond of the intro to Juno Reactor's "Samurai":

Anata wa taiyo,

Anata wa hikari...

It's spoken rather than sung, but still great.

You are the Sun

You are the light.

very nice vocals.

Also check out some of the vocals on some of Zen Lemonade's tracks.

I remember the prana track - taiyo on the cyclone album and the chakra remix on geomantik.

That seems to have some japanese vocals but I can't quite make them out.

Not really psytrance, but check out Shpongle - Invocation. It's only two minutes, but I think you'd like it. :)

Ummm, you mean Anubis - Invocation, that is 8 minutes long, from ECLIPSE... ;)

I was referring to the Shpongle track from Nothing Lasts... ;)

Unless Posford sampled that other track?

prodigy's smack my bitch up is not psytrance.

No, but he was giving an example of what asian vocals he would like to hear in psytrance - and seeing as he couldn't find a psytrance example, he had to make do with prodigy. :)
