  1. =) obviously I'm still not in bed, but now I'm *really* going. I'll PM you within 24 hours.
  2. Hmm - I keep seeing the CD, but the vinyl is one of the very few TIP's I'm missing. Feel free to let me know when you see the vinyl again =) As for my new arrivals, no trance today but these two showed up: Thomas Krome - Bitches From Hell http://www.discogs.com/release/7665 Glorior Belli - Ô Laudate Dominus http://www.discogs.com/release/619195
  3. PLEASE HOLD THIS FOR ME!!! =D I'm off to bed in like 30 seconds, but I will compile a trade list for you tomorrow.
  4. The vinyl is much easier to find than the CD, and usually costs far less. Even I don't have the Flying Rhino CD version, but I have the vinyl and this.
  5. Not only that, all the speech in "Moon in Your Window" is also by Jim Morrison. I think there was more too, but I'm dog tired and can't think straight. Oh, and Son Kite samples him on their latest album. As for the original question, it probably isn't Etnica/Pleiadians. I don't recognize the words.
  6. I didn't mean to spoil your chances to sell this one, so my apologies if it seemed that way. That source has proven very very reliable for other stuff, so he might be right here as well. But then my theory would be that it's printed in two runs; The first promo run, and then a later with full colour sleeve and all that. But yes, this is frighteningly rare! And obviously a true must-have for every Posford fan. Is this perhaps his earliest released recording?
  7. Please note that there IS a retail version of this, full colour printed sleeve and all. So while it is indeed insanely rare, I would guess that there are a three digit number of copies in existence. Pics of the retail version, courtesy of ultra-collector Melanocorypha: http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?what=R&obid=347923 Also see his comments on the retail version in this as of yet unapproved update: http://www.discogs.com/changereq?id=1391314
  8. Just a single, lonely little record today: Cybernaut - Hydrophonix http://www.discogs.com/release/247835
  9. ...and also a track by crop circles. Trust me on this =)
  10. This discussion should perhaps be forked off into a thread of it's own, so I'll just make one final comment in here; I think the best tactic would be to agree on who gets what before the auction ends, or before the purchase is made (if the exact content is known). If it turns out that one of the records you were getting is scratched, then tough luck, the agreed division should not be changed. I'm getting a HUGE batch in a week or two, and I'm splitting it with a friend. But we don't know what's in it! Only a few items are known, and then it's vague; We know some labels, a rough figure for the overall amount, and that it's very diverse. But since me and this guy are good friends, we know that we won't end up fighting about the rarities. But if we were just "internet mates" that had never met, it would be much, much harder to get along =)

    Tip 3D

Tip Records, UK (pre-release promo) Tip Records, UK (first edition) Tip Records, UK (second edition) Tip Records, UK (vinyl) Equinox, Japan Cyber Productions, France Nova Tekk, germany It's also part of this 2CD set: The Colours Of Shiva - Part 3 - Tua Records / Nova Tekk, Germany This has to be some kind of record. Could there be even more versions? I expect this is because of the demise of Flying Records Distribution; TIP needed money since they lost a lot with flying, and they had a strong name, so they licensed this one to as many labels as they possibly could. And apparantly a lot of them swallowed the bait... Because honestly, while a nice set of tunes, this is not the most remarkable release TIP made. For a while I was thinking it'd be kind of fun in a dorky way to have them all, but unless someone throws the last 3 at me, I won't bother =)
  12. Dude, if you find large batches of stuff, I can pitch in for the purchase =)
  13. I saw that package and I initially had my max bid planned to about 100 dollars. But so many other things came up, so I cancelled it. Very frustrating to let the Doctor Acid CD go, for example =/
  14. VERY sweet as well! I've been playing Orientrance in some of my sets, the mood is very very thick, good opener. The D5 album alone could easily bring in 35 if it's vinyl and at least two times that if it's CD.
  15. Usually it's ebay, yes. This was all ebay, for example.
  16. Yep, there goes the last unplayed copy in the world =) My batch for today: Limited Area - Asuras / India http://www.discogs.com/release/261055 N.A.T. - Nature And Technologie http://www.discogs.com/release/399366 Sonic Evolution - Quattro EP http://www.discogs.com/release/46464 Purple Plejade - Blanche http://www.discogs.com/release/16666 Various - The Warp Experience http://www.discogs.com/release/162515 Experimental Audio Research - Millenium Music CD version not on Discogs yet
  17. Not yet - as you can tell from my posts here, I have been buying enormous amounts of records lately. Since the CD drive in my work computer has decided that it doesn't want to play audio CDs any more, I have to do all the listening in the few hours I spend at home every day... hours that should also be spent cooking, cleaning, watching TV, socializing with my wonderful girlfriend, and lots more. But in a few weeks I plan to place an order from Steve, and I will probably go through lots of samples then.
  18. Today & yesterday: Dr. DNA - Animalution http://www.discogs.com/release/246096 Eat Static - Epsylon http://www.discogs.com/release/27171 Eat Static - Science Of The Gods http://www.discogs.com/release/77544 Trivia - Speed Of Sound http://www.discogs.com/release/347112 Pelinpala - My CD Has Landed On The Next Door Neighbours Dog http://www.discogs.com/release/212162 Various - Mahasiddhi - Paradise Ambient & Tribal Journey http://www.discogs.com/release/427605 Plus one for my girlfriend: Dynamo - Aufenthalt http://www.discogs.com/release/3120
  19. Yeah, a real bummer it wasn't the entire box set... but seeing as I never expected to find the vinyl, this'll do =) I hope to complete my Matsuri vinyl collection in the next 2 months.
  20. OK time to do this; I was going to take pics of each side of them, but my camera sucks too much. I got overexposed pics with the flash and blurry crap without, so instead I will just write the info down: Infinity Project, The - Untitled http://www.discogs.com/release/302635 SIDE A: 2 tracks engraving: "FABU003A" and "A PORKY PRIME CUT" SIDE B: 2 tracks engraving: "LOVE DANCE CREATIVITY" Also says "FABU003AA" and "PORKY" Infinity Project, The - The Infonet EP http://www.discogs.com/release/185193 SIDE A: 2 tracks engraving: "FABU 016 A", possibly a 1 after the A SIDE B: 3 tracks (inner one much shorter than the other two) engraving: "FABU 016 AA" or possibly AA 1 - the potential "1" is very short on both sides. This has the same label design as is pictured here: http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?what=R&obid=185193 ...the other side is plain white. This comes with a promo sheet with scanned reviews of Law EP - but by this I think they mean to promote their earlier Fabulous release, which would be FABU 005T which I don't have. Infinity Project, The - Riddle Of The Infinite / Freedom Of The Flesh http://www.discogs.com/release/257188 SIDE A: 1 track engraving: "FABU 021 A1" SIDE B: 1 track engraving: "FABU 021 B1" Both sides are completely whiet, theonly info is on the sleeve sticker as pictured in my photo here: http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?what=R&obid=257188 While a hand-drawn design, it's printed and not drawn for each copy =) I hope this helps.
  21. I don't know if it's paranoia or pattern recognition, but noone has said that it's not about me, and I guess I have the biggest (goa) collection of all psynews members, so I would be an obvious target. Also, I "show off" my collection through a link in my signature and post in just about every thread about collecting and rare records. I've also listed some of my most precious rarities on several occasions. If someone thinks I'm a prick due to this, I just wish they would talk to me about it instead of hinting at it and generalizing about collectors.
  22. I can't help feeling that this is in some way directed towards me (being a forum regular and big collector). If this is the case, I would appreciate if you spoke out about the specifics - not in an "I dare you to say it to my face!!!"-kinda way, but rather to get away from this whole beating about the bush situation. Put the cards on the table, so to speak. Feel free to do it in private (preferrably through e-mail rather than forum PM's), if you feel uncomfortable doing it in public. Right now it's vague accusations that I can't quite grasp the point of, so something more palpable would be much appreciated. If possible, I'd like to replace this hostility with understanding, thats all. EDIT: This goes for anyone who has been annoyed in some way by me and my attitude towards collecting records, it's not just directed to visine.
  23. Is the beats stuff anything like Mantram? 'Cause I kinda didn't like that. Can't check if you have Mantram or not since Discogs isn't responding.
