  1. I was just thinking the opposite - comparing with other music styles like rock, pop and melodic trance, goa/psy titles sound very intelligent! Especially chillout stuff. Whole albums as examples Of course, I'm not counting all those uber-cheeseball titles. Jardin De Cecile Conga Fury God Is God Komit Swamp Thing Kaguya Hime Children Of The Night Shark Phototropic Byron Bay Sonica Dream Vision Quest Land Of Freedom Voyager Absolum Malaka Dance Snow Drop Ulysse Voyage No 3 Shpongle Falls Monster Hit Vapour Rumours Shpongle Spores Behind Closed Eyelids Divine Moments Of Truth ...And The Day Turned To Night Hicksville Stargate Avalon Jade Garden Shwazz Fifth Level Khatmandu Mundis Imaginalus Louden Darshannon
  2. The track "Ocean" also features on the Balagan comp. And lo and behold, it's exactly the same as Aurora Borealis. Thus it's a track with two names.
  3. It's NOT NOT NOT goa! More like dreamtrance like Robert Miles. A cheap copy of him. NOT GOA!
  4. I didn't know this was considered a classic.
  5. Well, it was half nice. The background was beautiful, but the mask was ugly on it.
  6. I might be interested in the muppet CD. But I'm not going to trade anything special for it... Check my discogs list, www.discogs.com/user/Cinos
  7. Ahh! WORST tracks?
  8. Will you SHUT UP already? We KNOW what you think, you've said it every 5 minutes in this topic.
  9. I was almost going to say "rip off" in the beginning, but the the melody changed. Sounds a bit like Infected from the classical era. Pretty decent overall. I'd like more twists and turns.
  10. I actually agree on that. Shpongle tracks, and that in particular, remind in some way of Juno. And I also second that other comment. If Juno is cheesy, what are Daft Punk? Seriously, Ale, stop posting.
  11. As ukiro said. Plus that it's GREAT. Get it!
  12. This easily takes the "stupid post of the month" award.
  13. Well, I can chime in on this: Psyshop has lightining-fast deliveries and great quality. The only area they're beaten in are the samples - saikosounds have 4 minute-pieces of their tracks. Recommended!
  14. Actually that's becoming less and less true.
  15. This one really has a groovy flow... the way of combining random(?) pitches of the same sound reminds me of better Infected tracks. Repeat: really groovy. You really seem to have a feeling for rhythm. What could be better? I think the melodies could be louder in the end. More distinguished from the rest. This is around the second best track I've heard on this board.
  16. Yeah, you said that. But as I said previously, make the year-specific boards subboards of one big board. That would make it look a BIT better, anyway.
  17. I don't like the idea of every year having a separate board. Original was better, BTW. The way of reviewing on the left side. But this new way generates better reviews.
  18. If I recall correctly, not even hardcore professionals hear the difference between 320 or so mp3 and other medias. Let me dig up some research on this.
  19. Sounds old-school! It's quite nice and professionally put together! As I said... nice!
  20. Apparently. I'd rather wait for twisted though, they'll have it avaible earlier.
  21. Do you even own a CD player? Seriously, you can't argue about it. On a good system, the difference is funking marginal, you have a very HARD time hearing it. And besides, the hissing and clipping a vinyl makes make up for that subtle difference.
  22. The difference in sound quality is so non-existantly small, that a generic person can't even hear it.
  23. Well, everybody else does. At least everybody else, as in "me".
  24. "Oh well" will have to do.
