  1. Murphy, you should be more careful from now on, cause every insult you give to another member will result in warning... Another few warnings and you are out of this place.
  2. I guess cause they are not so much goa trance. I think he wanted to do a strictly goa trance compilation, those three tracks are rather psy.
  3. Thanks Krist... You don't even know about Radioactive Man, please do check him out, he is a crazy guy. Anyone that you've mentioned before Murcof ? No way, that guy sure knows his IDM shit.

  5. So no one still haven't checked this one yet ?

    Eraserhead

That is not only the nightmare, that is reality, 50 % of mankind suffers the same problem. Only Lynch has presented it as the ultimate nightmare, pushing boundaries of good taste through absurd minimalism. Delicious discomfort.
  7. How can u be disappointed with Violent Relaxation ? It is brilliant, but each to his own. For me, most of the albums past 2005 were disappointing, excluding new school goa albums, and even there, there are few of the average ones.
  8. I agree with all the 'bad' reviews, this album is only average, and that is a sad thing, considering he is among my favorites as well. For me, NONE of the tracks really stand out, it sounds like he wasn't that inspired making this album. Unfortunately, it gets only 6/10 from me.
  9. BATTLE OF THE FUTURE BUDDHAS - LEPRECHAUN WAR DUB

    In Bruges

Yes, I could recgonise those patterns but the execution of those references were subtle and that violence had nothing to do with Tarantino or Richie. That kid shot in the church was just collateral damage as it was presented in all that madness, it wasn't so graphic and violent at all, so I didn't find it too heavy.

    In Bruges

Cause whole mafia crap is exactly that - BANAL and in this film that banality is presented funny and quirky, not so damn serious as other mobster films are trying to achieve. Are we a little bit conservative Lemmi ? This film is for laughs, not all mafia films should be violence driven eye candies.
  12. Non Music Madness. Chaos of no sounds. An absolute silence. With infrared noiiiizzzeee. Sliding down your eustachee tube, down through the throat, making you nauseaish.

    Stalker

Yes, mine as well, an absolute masterpiece in film making. Out of not so many films by Tarkovsky, this one is the best. Straight to the point, this film is touching on so many levels, pure visual poetry, an odyssey in existentialism.

    In Bruges

I quite liked pointless criminal style, presenting crime through different perspective, banal and funny, with the pinch of quirkiness. All three leading actors did terrific job. Direction is also not standard. 75 %
  15. I find CGI's to be the best thing in the film actually, but about everything else I agree with you.
  16. That is obviously Winter by Antonio Vivaldi... Considering the samples, they do sound crunchy and sort of like crossbreed between Infected Mushroom and Rastaliens, but as yerg pointed out, nothing that new and that hasn't been heard before, it is nice that from time to time, someone decide to make more symphonical stuff, if only he hasn't used those full on basslines.
  17. This is by far the most concise review I saw. And it even looks serious, being so minimalistic. Will try to find it.
  18. Their tracks on Psychedelic Beer II were interesting : Venus Vibes - Ruditoms and Drop & Dash - A Global Split are very interesting old school goa tracks. Another two : Venus Vibes - Yangtse and Drop & Dash - On A Journey are more on a chilled side, but very trippy, from the same compilation... and I've also heard their tracks on Survival of The Trippest III like Venus Vibes - Singerling and Drop & Dash - Cloned which are crazy goa tunes, Singerling being so spaced out and euphoric. Check them out, they are rather interesting small goa groups.
  19. Of course, it is a classic, like everything else by Oliver Lieb.
  20. The Green Mile cause of supernatural references and overall better told story. Shawshank is good, but nowhere near as interesting especially character-wise like The Green Mile. Plus the role of Michael Clarke Duncan was so touching, it easily surpasses both roles by Robbins and Freeman.
  21. EARTHRISE !!! This track alone is worth the whole album, totally uplifting and euphoric, even though I partially quit listening to trance in past year or so. This completely made me change my mind. Thanks Jannis, that is really great. Actually whole album is less chaotic as everyone else mentioned and since lot of people find it less engaging, I quite like this 'chilled out' Filteria... it is still pretty euphoric, it doesn't need to be all the time maximal and over the top. So, I rate this album higher than his previous but it still doesn't come close to Sky Input. Other tracks I really like FILTERTRACES, IN THE HEAVEN'S EYE, FLOAT AWAY & DISSAPEAR... Good work again Jannis... 9/10
