I suggest you to look again, all mfg albums (all 3 at least, the 4th I haven't seen lately) for 39 nis each (divide by 4.7 = $ ) also there are lots of second hand shops in tel aviv (I guess not as big as uk stores or Japanese markets)

Orion - Metamorpheus <= the most amazing album I've ever heard, very complex, very intensive! psychedelic leads, punchy baselines (and I'm not talking here about the shitty fullon type baselines. one track with two(!!) styles of base lines playing together), dynamic-psychedelic percussions and amazing pads that flies between all the layered psychedelic sounds. that one was two levels ahead of all the stuff I have ever heard I wised he would follow that style… pity...

long run will make is cheaper, you say...? I searched for a turntable some decent model, prices are amazingly high! at times like this when DVD format are almost at "risk" of getting replaced by a new and better format I expected TT to be quite cheap... but the opposite was correct... so I believe a writeable turn table will be very expensive
