Join us for a adventure that combines, music, art, performance, spiritual & ecological education, relaxation, healing and much more. With almost 6 months to go all is on track to ensure Transylvania calling 2007 to be one to remember! We are preparing right now an exciting line-up featuring some really gifted dj's and producers from around the world, a huge collection of artists and performers, an expanded healing and workshops space with a host of assorted activities to entertain and enlighten you. Some say Transylvania is Europes best kept secret - a region rich in folklore and tradition, warm hospitality and mystic legends. Come and feel the magic of Transylvania calling 2007. The gathering will begin on the 26th of July 2007 and draw to it's climax on the 31 July 2007. Campgrounds open from 26 July! The 5 day and 4 nights open air tribal trance Gathering will take place in an unspoiled and safe space in the mountains surrounded by forests, rivers and waterfalls, deep in the heart of the mystical Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania. hi there! i went to romania last year and had a wicked time. you are right there were problems with the line up and the whole thing did not go down flawless but the atmosphere among the visitors was exceptional. this is the second one so everybody helping will be well prepared this time. if you are not a fussy kind of person ( i reckon if you are gonna be travelling there you are not, afterall this thing should be a kind of adventure) you will not be dissapointed...it's certainly not a rip off. the organisers are trying really hard to make this happen!! if you check the forum of the site you can make yourself a better picture of the whole situation.and it beeing so near to you i would definately try and come...there will be music and a lot of happy people dancing and camping for sure! take care chris

i think u gave us the wrong link. i just saw a long haired guy acting weird in front of a crowd which seemed to be jumping up and down all the time. btw what type of music do they play at those concerts?

for me it was in spring 2000, i went to a friends house, everybody was on pills. i also had my first e experience. then after a while i noticed the music, it just got me somehow. i used to despise techno and electronic music in general before that, so i was verry curious asking them all they knew about this-they didn't know much. so the next day i went online to find out more about it and luckily also found psynews.org!! and 2 weeks after that i went to my first psy-trance party, the zoom festival in switzerland. i didn't take anything and i was totaly blasted away by the whole thing, the people the decor and of course the music. i still remember that they played psychedelic pollution by logic bomb, i had that elephant noise in my head for ages. thats when it started for me and ever since-i love it.

i'd go either to romania(verry good spirit, not so many people, beautiful country and alternative psy-trance), to ozra in hungary(similar to romania but maybe a bit more people and more well known acts), to sonica in italy(really nice line-up!!) or to the big german festivals. i personaly don't like the big german ones that much, they attract many people that are not really in to the music and just go to have a night out at a rave(since they are in between berlin and hamburg), but you do get a fare share of nice internationals there and of course big acts and good organisation. and as D3lirious said if it takes place again i can highly recomend the liquid elixir party in finnland wich had a wicked vibe and crazy music!

i just listened to the samples of the new cd on psyshop and think it sounds really nice, but i have never heard of this project before. is there a certain album of theirs you can recomend?

i am dissapointed .....they said they would make his years festival more diverse, but appart from the artists with a more dark touch, it is the same. i got totally bored by the continuos full-on music last year-especially the dj-sets from artists with big names. the only good thing compared to other big german festivals imo was that is took place from monday to friday so the vibe was quite good. if you are in to more twisted experimental sounds from dark and funky artists come to romania!!!!!
