  1. InnerSpace ‎– InnerSpace Style: Goa Trance 1.Mental Stream 2.Rising 3.Deepflight 4.The Ground 5.Below 6.Surface 7.InnerSpace 8.Lost City Mastered At – 4CN Studios Artwork – Jörg Schemczyk, Fabien Mars Mastered By – Tim Schuldt Written-By, Producer – Jörg Schemczyk From starters let's be honest. This is Goatrance as we experienced back/around 1997. A good solid baseline with one major sound that overshadows the entire release. The production is almost perfect. Not a bad word about quality comes to my mind listening to this debut. The mastering of Tim Schuldt is probably one of the reasons why this sounds so crystal clear and mature. This is goatrance whether you like it or not. If you like it's main sound you shall like the entire album (what is often the case with Goatrance I know, but you know what I mean ), if not. Feel free to listen to something else, don't bother :-))) Already at the beginning I notice that Innerspace has done his homework so he can provide typical goatrance elements what I applause. The baselines is compared to other new talent goatrance artist influenced by fullon or fullon minded. The strength is pretty ok and it's good enough to compete. The kick goes front to back what creates that happy joy joy goa feeling, Let's all dance in the forest, naked, like freaks , Highly motivated we slip into trance and that will do it's work on the dance floor or in your apartment (hoping the neighbors aren't home). The same counts for the melodies. Innerspace seems to enjoy playing his sound in all kind of directions. The term, "goatrance that speaks" comes to my mind. If he continues producing like that he'll become a master of melodies. Those are not just melodies but psychedelic melodies. Lovely satisfaction. Besides that Mister Schemczyk spent time creating a decent atmosphere. It's not all about euphoric but in the background there's a constant atmosphere that keeps me going and provides a certain flow. Major plus in this album is the use of little psychedelic sounds. We all know when psytrance became mainstream the use of shorter sounds travelling in our speakers from left to right became very important. Innerspace combined that in some tracks and I must say it tastes delicious. Suntrip often get's the comment that it's releases are to many based on morning trance or how should I express that. Well Innerspace is compared to others a bit different. We can discuss about that later but you will notice that this music could be played just before the sun rises at dawn. Mental stream is a great opening. The pattern of its melodies creates brain activity and is imo a very original melody, well done my friend. Rising is a bit slower, but like the title, it does rise. A decent track with squeaky psychedelic melodies. Deepflight keeps the level of production at the same quality. Excellent! The ground is a bit less. Innerspace chooses longer layers and less action what isn't entirely my taste but it's still ok. Below is a downtempo track. Not pretty sure what this track is doing at number 5 but part of that, it's thought trough and can be good to close a party/dj set. Surface is the perfect example what I meant about the use of psychedelic sounds and good atmosphere. The building is complete and is until now one of my favorites. Innerspace is a track we all know from the compilation shaltu and needs no introduction. It's a top track and I can't get enough from that spiral @ minute 9, 10/10. Lost city is an ambient/downtempo track that's ok but I'm no a fan of ambient closing tracks and never will so I'll leave it up to you guys. Hope you liked this short first review, I'm sure more detailed will follow...
  2. Not all of them have tics but then again I didn't listen to original album that I bought from Jos. Converted it to HQ mp3 to play on my mp3 player and to flac to play on my desktop cause the cd-drive sucks on my desktop. Thank god that I have my laptop to convert done
  3. correct, I heard some too but didn't check which tracks.
  4. Indeed then it's my mistake, and I apologize for that Thanx for letting me know
  5. I listened to the album for the first time, indeed the first track is great. This is pure classix goatrance like we experienced the most around 1997... The choice of sounds are only squeaky melodies, no typical trance layers... The baseline (in almost all the tracks) is very close to old skool compared to other new goa artist, who often chose to produce their baselines a bit more fullonish (or more strength), what I applause big, thanx Innerspace. The atmosphere is advised and creates a certain flow through the entire album. It's fast and it'll do it's work on the dance floor great. If you still like goatrance like the old days but would like to hear it in new production, this release is what you are looking for. Money well spent and more comments to come off course.
  6. Sorry If this may offend you (hope not) but it seems that your knowledge about goatrance/acidtrance/psytrance is pretty low. The sun project tracks seems a lousy example of acid goa or acid trance to me. Which it's not a problem at all, don't get me wrong, but it's very obvious! And by the way, jerking of is not asking nicely I guess Keep reading and listening, this platform contains a lot of info (check older topics) about psytrance. I notice that you are really excited about psytrance. That's good! Keep that spirit alive And to be on topic. I have seen Tim schuldt live with guitar and trust me it was quiet an experience
  7. I meant the link between the music you advice and the music they are searching for in this topic. Like reger posted above none of the tracks you posted are close to it
  8. I'm getting mine this evening, great to hear btw!
  9. awesome!
  10. nice one lemmi...
  11. +1 I don't see the link either.
  12. Great movie, I smoke a lot, and I know it's bad, I do a long health check every year and the day I get a tiny bad news, I'm stopping. I know I can, already did it so... But until now everything is 100% ok even after so many years of smoking cigarettes. Don't know why but it is. I was going to stop when I became 30 cause it's been told If you stop around that age the body almost recovers. I'm getting 30 in 2 months tomorrow
  13. Donuts, and the one with 'chasing Ganesha' (the homer simpson sample)
  14. I understand the atmosphere opinion. Have you tried Khetzal? (considering neo goa is all goa released > 2002, to me it's just all goatrance )
  15. I'm glad to hear the term 'radical moslims'. There are ten time more moslims that condemn the violence that has been going on lately. It's a pity we don't here them enough. They should protest more and show the world that this kind of behavior is not what they want or represent. Some initiatives are happening like the links posted above what I applause. It's often the problem also is western society that the majority, "the grey zone" is not heard because they are quiet. So it looks like they don't exist or approve what is happening around the world right now. Considering myself I have no problems with the moslim world at all, On the contrary I have a great respect for those who live a good life by their religion trying to be a good person. I'm an atheist but I don't judge those who are not. Then again I watch the news every day, and I have been overdosed with stupid violence raised by that youtube movie, and I notice in my thought that I get annoyed by the violence more and more and my respect is reducing a bit at the moment. I'm mature enough to keep my perspective but still it's a shame that my thoughts gets negative influences. That's why why we need more positive news from the moslim world that condemn the violence cause I'm pretty sure I'm not alone. The media is big part of this!
  16. If there are forum rules in theory there is no freedom of speech, From my perspective there is no freedom of speech in society either, you can't deny the holocaust in public, with total freedom of speech that would not be a problem. Not that I want the law to change it, don't get me wrong, But it's often an illusion we are endeavor for...

  18. that's true but racism polite or un polite is still racism. Stealing a car and leaving a note, 'sorry' is still stealing a a car
