Using Fruity Loops Studio...
X-scream replied to Psychocell's topic in Music Making and Production/Industry
I speak Reason and Fruity I'm not exactly sure about what you're asking but you can create MIDI out generators (Insert Channel --> MIDI Out) and if you enable "Typing keyboard to piano" (Ctrl+T).. voila! You're keyboard is now a MIDI controller -

A bird just whispered in my ear that SUNCD05 will be "Earth Crossing"

I have a weak memory of reading somewhere that it's you should store CD's like vinyls, in other words vertically.. any substance in that claim? I have 4 rackets with space for 31 CDs each but they're filled so now there's huge piles of CDs laying around.. don't really like the rackets and I'll probably buy a bookshelf soon. IKEA-Billy looks good Impressive! I have vinyls to fill up maybe 1½ of those box-squares

no, I'm not really into Space Buddhas stuff. He made a few good tracks though..

What!? Hypersonic was Psydrop? Damn, now I can't listen to Fantasy Seeds, great album btw, without thinking of his new stupid act
-
I wouldn't call the earlier Full-on compilations "full-on" in the sense this topic defines full-on Good full-on: Psydrop Protoculture Phi Lani Space Cat (well, some of it..) Vibe Tribe (Extremely cheesy and stupid at times but some melodies are really nice) Electric Universe (The Prayer & Morning Star)

X-scream replied to Frontier Psychiatrist's topic in General Psytrance
how much would it actually cost to buy the rights? 10'000 Euro, 100'000 Euro?? If it's 10'000 euro, that's only 100 euro per person if 100 people is up for it -
125-135 Progressive stuff 130-140 Slower goatrance 140-146 for the usual goa stuff 148-155 for euphoric madness the last 30 minutes of a DJ set

I can agree to some extent that the vocals fit in a a structural perspective.. stupid seems to go well with stupid I guess The "you can't hide" singing in Lerger than life is a perfect example.. yes it "fits" but I hate the effects and the way it sounds When it comes to voices/singing I prefer more subtle, gentle singing or just some mmmm-ing/humming. Check out Talpa - The Moon...
-
The way he is working with vocals is really awful imo I tried listening to it but I can't, it's just too awkward..
-
I bought the Chi-A.D. Ep from him as well, no complaints whatsoever!

I've rated these 'albums' as 5/5 on discogs.. X-Dream - We Created Our Own Happiness (Tunnel Records) 2x12" 5/5 Hallucinogen - Twisted (Reissue) (Twisted Records) CD 5/5 Planet B.E.N. - Trippy Future Garden (Polytox Records) CD 5/5 Ra - To Sirius (Velvet Inc.) CD 5/5 Talpa - The Art of Being Non (Sundance Records) CD 5/5 Filteria - Sky Input (Suntrip Records) CD 5/5 Various - Psychedelic (3D Vision) 2xCD 5/5 Various - Order Odonata 3 - The Technical Use Of Sound In Magick (Dragonfly Records) CD 5/5 Tandu - Multimoods (Phonokol) CD 5/5 Chi-A.D. - Infinitism (Out Of Orion) CD 5/5 Power Source - Granada / Tinkerball (Transient Records) 12" 5/5 Various - Destination Goa - Best Of (Why Not Records) 2xCD 5/5 Power Source - Cosmic Waves (Melodia) CD 5/5 On second thought I really can't label one of these albums as perfect... But the ones that are close to perfect imo are: Planet B.E.N. - Trippy future Garden No bad, or even average tracks.. All great, deep, mindbending, psychedelic trance! Chi-A.D. - Infinitism Well, not really an album. More like a "best of" compilation + unreleased tracks. I love all tracks except #2. If it was a track like Biocandy instead it would be almost perfect Ra - To sirius All tracks are really awesome (except maybe track 6). Ambient tracks at the end are amazing! However it lacks originality to make it a truly unique perfect album . It's all well-tested spacey goa trance..

The five-second bits at... 0:30-0:35 2:22-2:28 are awesome, but the melodies end up being terribly Skazified.. The bassline sounds exactly like the one in EU - The Prayer
