It does sound kinda casio-ish. Not that, imho, thats a bad thing Get better samples for your percs [hats, snares, claps kicks, etc] I feel you could give the bass more character. Its basicly just a sub... The beat was nice imho, i could really enjoy that... ...but then, this wear fruitykick thing comes in, and just throws it off...the arrangement of it is nice, but the sound itself is, eh, not so good imho, it sounds like a purely synth kick. It seems there isn't much going on, and its kinda slow paced track, that means you will want to amiplify that atmosphear as much as you can, throw some pads in and secondary leads in [even a teditary lead ] not bad.

What are tips for EQing when you can only EQ and master when you render the file to mp3? [my songs get rather cpu intensive]

Ah fuckit, i like the track as is, it isn't perfect, but good enough id say, and sence i have a habit of makeing good tracks, then, thinking they are not done, and wokring more on them, and basicly fucking them up..i decided id cosndier this track done the first time i felt it was done, which is now. The track is called Magarevah, and i was inspired to make this track after listening to Astral Projection Mahadeva and Cubensis Theroy - Multi-Deminsional Mirror...Its a bit repetetive i think, but i like it anyways. Hopefully i won't be the only one, listen to it and tell me what you guys think please. Feedback seems so hard to come by now a days. samples are damn near obsolete..and with midi, its impossiable to get mathmaticly perfect notes [people actualy record live notes in thier songs?..wow] I have midi keyboard, but i use it to make melodies etc, but i never actually use it to input the melody into my sequencer. thats crazy IMHO

everything ableton can do, fruityloops could do it before ableton gained said feature. [everyhting ableton does, furity did it first basicly]..come on..i thought everyone knew that O.O i tried ableton a few times, and i didn't like the fact that what takes 2 mouse clicks in fruity, takes 40 or 50 in ableton, and no, thsoe extra clicks did not add anything extra [not extra custimization or anything to what ever i was doing] plus, its not possiable to do what you can do with fruitys piano roll..in ableton. [i didn't even see a piano roll or sequencer of any type in ableton]

i always thought remixing was as simple as copying the melody the person made and make a new track with, and also copying notable things [like vocals or certain sounds, etc]... Withor without the artists permission, sence your not doing anyhting illegal [unless you copy the vocals, of course] You cannot copy right a melody. Or a sound [you can copy right a sound file etc..but not an actual sound] and useualy you can do that by simply listening to the track be ear and remakeing it in your flavor of sequencer

Fruityloops Studio, Sound Recorder, My Radioshak brand midi keyboard, speakers headphones, etc....PC=2.5ghz,256MBDDR,onboard sound chip thing-a-ma-jig, Sytrus,Zeta,ts404, all the classic FX, and all the MG line effects. and i also use FM8 2.few days to a few weeks, it all depends on current mood. 3. SOund Desgine and Arrangement 4. I bought a childrens keyboard..i loved it...i later heard about fruityloops, hop skip jump, then i was here today. 5. Psy/Goa/Melodic [sad stuff..]

Latest firefox fixed nothing. None of my computers can view the other forums. Even Library computer can't. I hate to ask this, but sence i cannot view forums..are there any other good psy/god trance websites out there with big community?

Yes, i am working on a new track which is around 70% done right now. The free kvr FX make cubase FX obsolete, and most of the fruity FX aswell. Baiscly, what you said [to the thread starter] was that the red drum was better than the blue drum. the audio studio you use has absolutly no baring on the sound that is produced. I use fruityloops, and it is more preforssinal than cubase, and i have used cubase plenty of times. Z3ta+ in fruity sounds exactly the same in cubase.

What are some good places? I don't mind being Captain Jack Sparrow either.
