  1. I've been good, thanks, kinda busy in one way or another but good. As for why I ain't been around, I've been travelling around quite a bit these last couple of years but I ran out of money so am back in rainy Britain. :(

  2. exotic, old chum, India are going down today.

  3. If its Nano, its full on but I can agree with your statement if you dont want to club this stellar release with the rest of the garbage that gets released as full on.
  4. The best full on i heard is the new master blasters album . Go check it out if you like your trance maximal and powerful
  5. Im not complaining. This is some serious ass kicking psychedelic , every track is loaded with high octane energy , with some tracks that have the potential to send serious dance parties into a tizzy. Nothing in the last three years has come close to sounding like this , this is raw power from start to finish. Hats off to Nano for a releasing this and the duo for showing how full on psychedelic trance should sound like. Very impressive release :hatsoff: 10/10
  6. Sexed out album. Putting the psychedelic back in full on. Way to go Nano!!!!
  7. one of the best albums of the previous decade , totally forgot to vote for it in the best of the noughties edit : i just had a look , its not even mentioned in the list :o seems like not too many people know about pentafiles
  8. This album is psychedelic to the bone.. its just so much fun to come back to it every now and then. never gets dull. In my top 5 albums of all time.
  9. psykovsky and the entire speed core brigade, just dont get em now
  10. The new Rinkadink is meh. Also i think it was a free release , just didnt feel right.
  11. Good album. Not as good as 'Back to Space ' and we really shouldn't be comparing anyway but its hard not to because these two belong to the same genre of music released on the same label ; on its own though this album shines nice and bright, some very smooth and uplifting moments that makes me forget all the pain, sorrow and shit that exists in the world when i listen to it because once a connection has been established with the music , all one sees is the beauty and charm with little scope for nitpicking a few things that could have been done better but its the fact that the guy is just 18 years of age , makes me marvel :hatsoff: and look forward with positive anticipation, im sure the entire Goa brigade is hoping he takes his music (which is still good in every conceivable way at the moment owing to the simplicity which is a clear indication it comes from the heart with a lot of effort gone into the production ) to the next level with some new ideas and sound combinations. All the best to the artist for future releases!
  12. The Overlords - Sundown [sunshine and the 909] [7'' babymix]
  13. I think we have different taste. You like elements few and far in between and enjoy sparse atmosphere created by those elements, whereas i like the atmopshere in a track created by the presense of various leads and effects that drive the entire composition/structure. You would tend to prefer minimal , whereas i would go for maximal not that i would not appreciate good minimal.
  14. Its more state than taste to be very honest. I know what you mean when you say there are too many elements for you to get you into a state of hypnotic trance becuase i too prefer arrangements that are less claustrophobic and allow for some breathing space, but in this album even though its jam backed with atmosphere like you said , there is that pulsating sense of groove that hits me in the right spot that is so hard to resist jumping to, something that doesnt happen with 90% of the trance i listen to, either it happens first up while initially listeninng to an album or it doesnt , good albums shouldnt grow according to me , they should be distinct from what you normally hear on the first listen itself. Its quite subjective that we could talk about it till the cows come home but there will not be a consensus on what would get everyone groovy and trancy. For me its a maximal atmosphere with phat kick and bass and effects that complement the entire structure without trying to stand out separate from it. Its all here and thats why i love this album.
  15. Report all links (live sets, sets, videos , soundcloud , latest releases, news) here. This thread is in celebration of my renewed love for this subgenre of psy after listening to the new lost and found album. What a motherfucker of an album this, right from the word go , 10 tracks crafted with the most modern production and astute musical sense. Having a real blast listenign to this every time i play it. I know i should be writing a review becuase a thread like this wouldnt do it justice like a review would, but still it would get some of you folks to check it out becuase this is what psytrance, not goa, in my opinion is meant to sound like ; no annoying breaks, something that has been a regular feature in most SA psy that i had a lot of expectation from (case in point : Frozen Ghost , very good compilation tracks but his album was a far cry from what he delivered earlier) , water tight production and hypnotic as hell. So yeah this what the future would sound like. We are slowly but surely getting there.
  16. I guess you havent heard the new artifact303 then. as good as the best dark psy out there.
  17. Finally it is here what i have been waiting for !!
  18. Today walking to work i was listening to simplicity , 'find out' was on and all of a sudden i dont know what happened , i got filled with deep emotion and tears of joy and sadness at the same time started coming to me automatically. now usually im not the one to start crying while listenign to a track , maybe its coz i lost my sister recently that i couldnt control myself and i wept all the way to office!! I felt a great sense of relief and quite spiritual after that outburst , as if i had been cleansed of long held pent up feelings. it was one of the best times i have had listening to music. So i wanted to ask here does psy make you cry and if yes what kind of psy is it?
  19. I think you are uploading at imagefrog.us , better use www.imgur.com
  20. Had these for a month or so now. Bose i feel needs high output which is why they work better with a mp3 player than the laptop whihc is surprising to me because i thought the other way around. Cant complain , but for the price im a bit pissed off tbh. will have to make do with these for a while till i upgrade .. any suggestions as to what next?
