i guess all solo artists feel they can be much better with a partner.....so do i....my midi sequencing skills r better than my sampling skills n it's the opposite for a friend of mine....we had collaborated 1ce....but he's 2 busy to meet up nowadays....so i'm now tryin to take a break in producing and rather spend a month only experimenting on sampling and synthesis...n so after an experimental month, i shall be ready with fresh sounds :drama:

nah...no luck...but anyways, i spoke to the edirol service center out here...n since my k/b is in warranty period, they said they'll give me a free service...but thanks anyways for your help every1

i have an intel core2duo, 1gb ram, 1.6 ghz, i use the default driver...but i dont think its a pc issue coz whenever i press a note or tweak a controller it shows on my midi k/b screen...n it takes the same time to show the info on my the screen of my k/b also

i have an edirol pcr-m30....n some of my keys take a hell lot of of time to respond...n this latency keeps increasing day by day....first was the 'D#1' note then the 'F2' then the 'Ab2'....does anybody have an idea what seems to to be the problem ???

my music is nature oriented...in a trip, u often get stuck at a particular site for eg. a weird lookin tree or somethin n while u're gazing at it, think of the numerous sounds that r ringing in your head...when u go into your sudio...try to think of those same sounds...well i get my inspiration by setting the mood...when i'm out in the evening with friends, i smoke a joint or 2, by the time i get a downer, i'm already home, in my studio, with a/c on full, i switch off the lights, i have a small lamp which changes colours (really trippy) i put it on...n boom...i'm on...i like to have my room clean...u really cant work with everythin scattered all around...it gets frustrating...i sometimes also sip on beer while workin... do wateva sets the mood for u make your studio lights dim...hang a nice trippy poster on he wall in front of u where u sit....it really helps me out

so now when's it releasing ??

yeah i get what u're talkin about.....dunno about the fm8 but u can get that kind of sound on the albino...the cosmosis albino bank has those presets...u can tweak them if u want n get thos cutting fm saw leads.....hope that helped....cheers n happy tweaking!!!!

i found out what the problem is....its discodsp discovery...everytime discovery is loaded on my sequencer, the sound goes of...i even re-installed both of them...but no luck....what do i do ???

that was till fl6...but fl7 now has edison...and it is a powerful audio editor....i've used it myself and also the parametric eq2 makes it even more powerful

i had made a project on fl5 it was unfinished...i got myself fl7 n when i opened that project file...there was no sound...but all other projects were loading properly...ne boby has an idea what the problem could be ??? please help me out....thanks!!!!

the best way is try to incorporate the track u're workin on to some other track....but then it would be like copying some1 else's work...although the fact that u've copied may not be noticible, would it be convincing enough 4 u ???.... i say jus listen to as much music as u can...n listen to it frm a producer's pnt of view...try to understand how a particular part in the track was made....pay more attention to the breaks....that should give u some idea...coz it is the breaks that give the track a groove

try lookin through the 'mother of all basslines' thread on isratrance.... as for makin a regular fullon bassline, get a decent bass sound n make the bassline on the lower octave like this- KBBBKBBB....where k is thre kick n b is the bass note....bring in some variation in the notes to make it more groovy....hope that helped..

anywhere between 7 hours to a week or 2....if the track that u're workin on reminds u of a famous track by a professional artist, u can take some inspiration frm that...dont copy...jus take some inspiration...n if u're in the mood u'll finish in day sitting at a stretch...
