I've been meaning to start a similar topic for a while, but you beat me to it. Anyway, my favourite ever noise in a record is possibly the noise that starts at the 34 minutes and 40 seconds mark in Goldie's Mother. Or maybe the noise at 1:12 in Mars Bless U by Kindzadza.
The other day I was playing Solar Fields' Extended in my parents house and my dad said he liked it and asked if I could get him a copy. Unfortunately the shop from which I bought it has now sold out and I can't find anywhere else selling it. My question is, can someone recommend another album which is in a very similar vein?
It's not just you. Moni tends to give some pretty detailed statistics about the results which takes time to do, so it may be a while before the results appear.
Both albums are incredible, and very different so that comparing them may be meaningless. But personally I have a mild preference for Outer, I think because the timbres used on it are so good. I find it more trippy, albeit in a more subtle way than Inner.
I also think that Outer is more of an aquired taste than Inner, which has more immediate appeal. I really didn't know what to make of it when I first got it.
I don't know the answer but I've just sent a message via YouTube to the guy who uploaded the video asking your question (I'd quite like to know too!). I'll let you know if he replies.
Healium, based on what you've said you're looking for I urge you to check out the Khooman album. It is unburdened by the world music pretensions that are tediously ubiquitous in psy chill, and sounds very electronic and trippy. And it's really good in my opinion.
