Any idea when this will be available in the online shops? Neither Saikosounds or Psyshop has it in stock yet... I have been anxiously awaiting this release for a long time!

Based on the liner notes and the packaging (the spine simply says Hicksville instead of mentioning the remixes), as well as the timing of the two releases, I suspect that the original plan was to release a double cd package with the original album remastered and the remix cd as a bonus cd. However, Avatar instead released the reissue of the original and LSD released the bonus cd as its own album. Does anyone know if that is indeed the case? That being said, while it does not compare to the journey the original is, I have really enjoyed listening to this cd. I believe all of these remixes are older, from the same sessions as the original album or earlier. Digajigg was actually released as a 12" three years before the Celtic Cross album (under the project name Baba G) : http://www.discogs.com/Baba-G-Dig-A-Jig/release/258763 so Darshannon came after that track rather than Digajigg being a remix of Darshannon... So don't think of this as a "new" Celtic Cross album, but rather as a companion piece to the original (hopefully to tide us over until they release a brand new second album).

I saw X-Dream (both members, along with Ariel) live in September at an outdoor festival in California, and it was a good span of their career. They played classics like The Frog, Our Own Happiness, and Psychomachine, as well as the newer stuff (instrumental and vocal). I would say less than a third of their set was with vocals. I saw them the year before, when "We Interface" was newer, and it was about half and half, but they still played some classics, like Radio and Psychomachine as well.... Both times were nice sets! Especially the outdoor one!!!!!! But I haven't seen him dj recently, so the live set may not be an indication of what he will play in a dj set...

I have been a huge fan of Benza for a few years, and got this cd the day it came out. The first listen, I was a little disappointed, as I was expecting a more full-on morning "in yer face" sound like some of his previous tracks. However, the second time I listened to it without expectations of what Benza was "supposed" to sound like, I could really appreciate it for the masterpiece that it is. It is more subtle, yet very intricate, and delightfully groovy and psychedelic. It has barely left my cd player since I got it, and it is easily my favorite release of the year so far. As a whole, it is probably my favorite album by him. I played some of the tracks in a "progressive" set last weekend, and several people came up to me asking what I had just played (especially track 8!!!), so it does work well on dancefloors as well. So if you didn't like this the first time, or if you didn't listen to it because you think you don't like Benza's sound, please give it another listen, and I think it will grow on you. It keeps getting better and better for me the more I listen, which is too rare these days. I think this album is a true masterpiece, and will definitely stand the test of time.

There's a new Benza album coming out soon, "Schwarze Now, the Defender" that I'm excited about. I've really enjoyed his first two albums.

Scorb is also half of R.A.M. (Rampant Angry Men), which released an album "Efficient Chips" a couple years ago, as well as compilation tracks.

Well, Saikosounds has a bad habit of prematurely announcing release dates. Almost every release they announce inevitably gets pushed back... Look at the S-Range album for example. It's date has been changed for over a year now... Not saying it's totally their fault, but I really don't mark my calendars by them or anything... Other shops simply say "coming soon" for new releases and don't get our expectations too high.

There's a new review of the Koxbox album at psyreviews.net. Not that I always agree with his reviews, but he gave it a 10/10 so that sounds very promising!
