Im not a big fullon fan but this preview is quite awesome. Very VERY well done in terms of production. Also way more original than half the shit passing for fullon thesedays. I like the disco-song, very groovy. respekt

i agree that a lot of it is 'harsh' sounding, but i think that's part of artifakts style. he uses a lot of sounds that u wont hear anywhere else, and yes a lot of them are harsh. and it can get kinda noisy but i think mostly it works really well. i love the distortion in track 8. i always wanted someone to do something like that. the only track i couldn't really handle was 3, male. the whole porn sample thing is a bit of a cliche. no. 6 is fucking awesome though, that lead is insane.

um dj's usually pitch the tempo down to suit the rest of their set. so it was probably slower.

in terms of EXISTING genres and subgenres, this is dark. that's all i'm saying. dark can be uplifting/joyous too..

dude if this is not dark then neither is derango. but in response to your question: no music has ever made me jump in fear. and i've heard everything claiming to be scary/dark/horror trance. a lot of dark psy isn't "dark", it's just twisted/weird/experimental/fucked up. that doesn't mean it doesn't belong to the subgenre. to me this album has many sounds that are typically dark. "darkpsy" might not be the best word to describe this type of music. but it is more fitting than say, full on, progressive, minimal, or tech-trance, wouldn't you agree?

why do people say this isn't dark psy when it clearly is.

the electrypnose tune sounds like a remix of 6h debout, of which there are already quite a few. i wonder why they changed the name of the track though, it's a bit misleading.

um i listened to this album on studio monitors and it sounds fine. just because it doesnt sound like plastic fullon doesnt mean its got bad production.

the samples of all the tracks sound very similar. like he used the same kick/bass synth for every tune. Other than that it sounds pretty cool, especially no. 5

I hate raipdshare. If you're a free user it sux, I often get an error saying my download limit has been reached, and when I eventually get it to bring up the timer and you enter the code etc. it just fucks out, saying download error or something. anyway isn't there some other place to get these tunes I really want them.

juding from the samples alone it sounds pretty well done. better than 90% of full on anways. my only problem is the melodies are mostly rather simple and the guitar track sounds a bit lame. guitar tracks are totally overdone. theres a shitload of other cool instruments out there that are way trippier/cooler and more original than the guitar. dark soho tried out the sitar and it sounded pretty cool, juno reactor always use loads of original instruments to wonderful effect. so i think artists need to look beyond the guitar. dancefloors love it though so what do i know. everything else is done really well though especially the sampling + pads to create a cool atmosphere. i can see how this would work really well at a party.
