Actually I think you just probably have your own taste. I guess a lot of people just like simon's work because everyone else does. Simon is POP IDOL (american idol). His recent trance for me has been pretty shit but people keep saying he's soooooo great. too many yes men!

I have recently been a little mean about simon posford!! Please express your displeasure with my comments here as to not spam the other threads with all the usual simon is the god of everything I usually have to read. PS I heard Simon recently thought that he had an STD but it turned out he was just allergic to Wool!!!

After listening to this quite a few times I will say that most tracks are quite good. Not Great but Okay. However the Hallucinogen track is crap. Absolute drivel. I feel like everyone who says it's good is just saying so because they love simon posford and they really wish it was good. News flash people!!! You're god died during the release of twisted and was never ressurected!! PS I like simon posford. His chill out is out of this world! He just makes really bad Trance these days

You have to realise that while simon posford was fucking good at what he did. He was obviously overtaken a long time ago by better artists who include OTT!!! Simon is not a god!! His last Hallucinogen colab was for example EXCREMENT!

I'm trying to listen to Electric Universe's new album again but I'm afrai that this is just generic full on. It's not bad but there is absolutely nothing that makes it stand out in any but the last track, which IMO is awesome. So annoying!!

When I'm not in they send it to the POST OFFICE! It's this wonderful building in my town the deals with all sorts of deliveries. Don't you have this service in your country?

I listened to this today for the first time. On Headphones. I think that it's pretty fucking awesome. I don't think that many of you will be dissapointed. If you actually listen to this (and I don't mean this in the normal people don't really listen to minimal way) instead if just not listening and slagging it off based on NOTHING!!!! you might like it. It really is good. It's energetic and it's full on (in the 1998 sense). At least give this one a listen before you slate it please

Hell. I think all OTTs remixes are better than the hallucinogen originals But then again I prefer his style

Oliver Jones - Picking up the Pieces

I've just given in the one listen so far, but based on that I'd say No! I wasn't really doing anything as I listened to it a most of the tracks failed to keep my attention. The guitars caught my attention but not in a good way. On the shelves in all good record stores here. And a few bad record stores too. Saw a big wall of this CD in HMV & thought I'd give it a whirl. I'm an impulse buyer. Ambient time for me too as I prepare for bed. NP H.U.V.A. Network - Distances (also on Ultimae)

The new Electric Universe album. Full on haters should probably steer clear of this one. Mostly it's above average full on. But it's got the rolling bassline through most tracks and a couple of tracks have guitars. Dear oh Dear!! While a lot of the ideas are nice I can see the anti full on crew ripping this to shreds. It is NOT as good as Stardiver. People who like full on should probably give this a listen, the sounds, melodies and samples are all pretty cool if not ground breakingly fab! Everyone though should check out the last track, Future Excursions. It's the track that will make you ANGRY because the style is not full on and a whole album like this would probably be up a lot more alleys. All in all it's okay. Radi - don't waste your time on this. You'll hate it

Especially the Hallucinogen track. I bet people tell simon he's a genious when he farts!

I think I prefer old Psy because most of my favourite trance albums are old. I do like a lot of modern stuff too but it's too soon to tell if I'll really like them 10 years on. I have really liked some of the modern releases like Artifakt II but I haven't had time to really get into them.

Fantastic Choice, much better than the original This sight has a last click option where you can see what other people are looking at by their last click. When it's slow I sometimes use this option, there are loads of unregistered guests looking at a load of the older topics that the registered guys don't look at anymore. If I find something I find interesting I'll bump it up.
