Oh yeah it's great! Just received a large(ish) shipment of music from Saiko Sounds but I must let this finish before I stick any of them on :posford:

This is a crying shame for you! Even though you love oldschool you have never heard it in it's proper context. Have you ever even been to a party with 100% oldschool tunes? Those were fantastic days, I really think the parties were better pre 2000 for me as the DJs played what I wanted to hear. Nowadays there are some fantastic albums being produced but the DJs mainly play identi-kit crap that works only for the dancefloor. Even at a party I want something for the head. Although you profess to love the oldschool sound I doubt you will ever truly be able to understand it as you missed the sentimental years. For most people music is not a mechanical breakdown of its elements but the feel the music and hormones were rampant when we were young and can play a big part in how we feel about music, they help us open the door and see that what lies beyond is often greater than the sum of its parts.

Well if it's all upbeat he'll probably buy it! That's why he asked you thick twat. I hate how you troll the forum constantly. Either you are a troll or just extremely fucking stupid but probably both! I personally think he should release both a 100% upbeat album and a 100% chillout album but I know a lot of people don't like ambient and chillout so I am sure some would disagree!

To be honest I have never had anyone complain about the kick drum or say it is just boom boom boom only that either it all sounds the same or that it is not real music (no lyris the heathens :pissed:) Maybe it's because what I play is not just boom-boom (goa, old psy, good fullon, downtempo, IDM, Ambient, Modern Classical, techno, some house) but not one of my illiterate (musically) friends has complained about the kick drum boom-boom! Not one! Amazing however they have complained about everything else.

I had this for years but never really thought much of it! But I put it on recently & wow! It might have been my mood or whatever but this is a seriously good remix collection. LSD right down to the stitching and a must have for (psy) dub fans. Love it, listened to it 5 times in a row it's that good
