I keep asking myself, why ruining the first track with the awful singing? but besides that the album sounds good. nothing special though.

Just heard the album, very good imo. May even exceed "Core", but only time will tell.

I heard a lot of praises about old X-dream music, and since I don't own any of their CDs expect "we interface", which I didn't like at all, I'll buy this one.

great album, not like the previews ones, but good music is good music.

I'm glad I didnt miss it. I'll be very happy to own this CD, so count me in. and thanks for this great initiative.

Personally, I also dont wet my pents when I hear Hallucinogen.. far from it. Imo, the Shpongle albums are way way way better then halluc.. its kind of wierd though. and I could never understand why LSD is so overrated, its an average track.

thats strange, I've posted here before yet my post cannot be found. Anyway, great review, and I agree with almost everything written. I find this album very unique and interesting, yet it didnt completely satisfied my expectation due to the fact that I liked "In Search of..." better. However, it's one of the best ambient albums I've heard and I'm sure it'll be tough to top it as the best of 2006. favs: 1(!!), 2, 3(!), 4, 6(!), 7(!)

i saw them somewhere in 2003, when they performed in Israel once in a while. was great, i bet it was better then their latest live shows.

if u can afford spending 8000$ on cds im truely happy for u, however not everyone can. I think the approach of buying the preferred music and d/ling the rest is a healthy one. p.s detox u are partly wrong. when cds will cost 5 euro decent ppl wont bother opening emule. ofcourse pirate music will live forever, but the awareness of it will decrease rapidly
