  1. Once the artwork is finished and such I will be looking into a print on demand type place as an option for getting real CDs to the people who might want them although whether I go with them or not depends on the quality. Regardless I'll be making the full thing with art and .wav and/or full disc image available for free for download as soon as the art comes in. A proper glass master printing would be nice, but it's just too expensive now, especially considering I can't even play live sets at the moment because I can't afford to get a new computer On the good news side of things I am two tracks into album #3 (taking a break from writing as we speak).
  2. Last I talked to them they said that the live album was kind of a closing of that chapter of Uni's history and that they would be working on reinventing themselves to some degree. I seem to recall some comments about being in the studio not so long ago on Osho's Mixi account, but when a new release will be ready I'm not sure.
  3. The Cujorius One - Creating A Second Sun Great stuff here...
  4. If you can manage to hunt it down I strongly recomment K.U.R.O. - Satisfaction. This is definately one of my top three tech albums that gets in regular rotation, after The Delta's two albums.
  5. Due to money issues I have unfortunately missed almost everything released since July, but from what I have heard my vote would go something like this. 1 Ace Ventura - Rebirth 2 Younger Brother - Last Days Of Gravity 3 Prometheus - Corridor of Mirrors 4 Mr. Peculiar- Infinite Evolution 5 Cosmosis - Psychedelic Melodia
  6. Afrobad is by far my favorite Phi track. The albums several years old now and that one still manages to find its way into most of my DJ sets. Today The Delta's second album got thrown on for the first time in ages. That is some serious quality stuff there I say.
  7. Sold already Now I just need to start listing the 50 or 60 other cds in my "for sale" pile....
  8. I tried selling this item a year or so ago and the buyer ignored my very clear directions that I will only accept payment via Paypal. Anyways, I need money again so here is your (whoever you are) second chance to get my second copy of I.F.O. Looking at the other prices on Discogs, this appears to be a fairly good deal so.... http://www.discogs.com/sell/item/4055041
  9. Haven't had a chance to listen on my proper speakers yet, but this was in heavy rotation yesterday on my lappy. Good stuff.
  10. Nothing terrible exciting here, but I found a couple versions of older tracks that I had reworked a bit for live sets (mostly kick/bass and general mix issues) sitting on my laptop. Since they aren't doing anything I figured i might as well up load them HERE Enjoy
  11. Did all of the Cisco's close or just the trance focused one? Their website seems to still be open, but I think that is based out of Chiba.
  12. One of my favorite albums in the last three or four years. Depending on your tastes, people seem to either love or hate the bass, but I for one love it. :posford:
  13. I'm sure it will come to a shock to many that I prefer the long ones. Growing up listening to Pink Floyd - Echoes and Shine On You Crazy Diamond will do that to you I guess..
  14. Sweet. I hope Ben Watkins made an album of music HE wanted to make and not what everyone else wants him to make. IMO he's one of the rare ones with musical talent so I don't really care too much what direction it goes in, as it will probably have something to interest me regardless.
  15. Living Colour - Dread, a Japan only live album from the Stain tour, with some extra bonus stuff included an acoustic version of Nothingness with is high on my list of the most beautiful live vocal pieces in popular music ever. I had this years ago but it was lost in the mail in a box with about 50 other CDs back in 2001 when I moved back to the US after Uni. in Japan. took me 7 years to get another copy, but I finally got one!
  16. Ah good point. I am so used to using rar files that I forget some people don't use them. I've re-uploaded the file as a zip instead and edited the link to point to the new file instead.
  17. PAR-2 Productions PAR004 2008 Jikkenteki – Flights Of Infinity 1 Symplicity (31:04) 2 A Bowl Gruel World (11:24) 3 The End Of The End (9:21) 4 Another Kick In The Head (9:41) 5 Running Start (11:02) As many of you already know, PAR-2 Productions is changing our "business model" as it were and for the meantime at least will be focusing on free net releases with limited physical print runs for those crazy few who still buy CDs. My second album "Flights Of Infinity" has been delayed for more than a year due to various issues. Currently I'm working out some issues with the artwork, but for all other intents and purposes it is finished so I decided to give everyone at Psynews the first chance to check it out before the "proper" release. I've got the 320 mp3 version up now and will make the wav version available in the near future. Basically all that's missing here is the artwork, although we'll probably update the pdf file and such when we have the "official" release of the download version in the near future, hopefully with the physical version soon after. Anyway, Grab the mp3 version HERE
  18. Supergroover: Yeah I got it thanks, I've been running back and forth from work all day so I haven't had time to properly reply yet. Hopefully tonight or sometime tomorrow I get back to you with more details.... Surprised noone has noticed the "bonus" in my last post yet.... or maybe they have and just haven't commented yet (shrugs)
  19. Thanks again for all the support and kind words. On a personal level, things are still a mess here, but some of the clouds have been clearing up a little. Actually making the decision to step away from the standard CD production/record label model has helped a lot on music side of things and I've gotten some of my passion back for making tunes and such again. Regarding "Flights Of Infinity", all that I need now is someone to do the art (our regular artist is simply too busy) and then it will be up for complete free download. Also looking into some cheaper cd production methods so I think there is a strong chance that it will be available in some physical format at some point in the future, but exactly when isn't clear yet (again, depends on someone doing the art). Also I had been working on a double remix CD the last year. Things have kind of stalled on that front, but at the moment I have enough material for a single CD sized release and depending on talks with a couple artists I'm thinking that will get the same treatment as Flight Of Infinity fairly soon. For the moment I'm finding the "free" business model quite liberating and even though I'm basically refusing to do anything anymore that involves me losing money (i.e. even less live shows than before), all signs now point to a lot more music actually getting out into people's hands, so all's well that ends well I guess (now if all this shit in my private life would just end well as well).
  20. Probably this is a long shot, but the artist who usually did the artwork PAR-2's releases is simply too busy these days with paying work to get the artwork on my second album "Flights Of Infinity" done and I'm stuck here with a finished cd and no artwork. Due to changes in the market and a change in focus for PAR-2 (read as "we have been losing money since 2005 and simply have no more to spare") this CD will be made available as a free downloadable release in mp3 and wav formats. It will eventually receive a (most likely) very small physical print run which of course the artist will receive copies of whenever it is printed, but due to the state of things here I can't and won't promise anything more in terms of payment. Regardless if anyone is interested or willing feel free to contact me via pm here. Thanks and best regards, Rennis/Jikkenteki Detail-wise I need a 2 side insert card (front cover and reverse) and a back tray card.
  21. I seem to recall reading in a couple of interviews that Nothing Lasts was written to be very much like a dream and since dreams change radically very quickly the music reflects that in many ways. That said I still mostly here it as about 7 complete pieces that happen to be groups of 3 or 4 tracks.
