  2. Maybe... I'm kind of new to it... I'm getting good vibes anyway
  3. This was very unexpected... Truly amazing. I hope you won't come home to me and kill my children (I don't even have any children). Did I forget a big thanks? Well, I said it in PM, but I should say it here too. Thanks alot! I don't know what to say, except this is a bit weird. In a good way of course
  4. Talpa, are you GOD? Seriöusly... Talpa is what/who got me into psytrance and I'd like to know if he is god. Ehm, questions huh? Mr. Talpa, sir, do you have any plans on coming to play in Sweden?
  5. All publicity is good publicity I'm sure I got at least someone to listen to it, and that makes a chance of someone buying it. Anyway, if I started buying CDs I'd probably buy this compilation. Maybe not first of all, but it's a good CD so... Enough about that. Thanks for telling me it's not Skazi.
  6. The thing is that I don't even know, nor think, that it is Skazi, but what if it is? SECRETLY?! I'm so sad
  7. I was going through of the music I downloaded to see if there was anything good and I stumbled on this artist Zekazy on a compilation named A Walk Through Neptunes Garden. First I listened to the track Unicorn and I really enjoyed it, most if not all of it. Then I listened to the other track by the same artist, Broadcast. It was also very good (still have a few minutes left of it). Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that after a while of listening to it I realized that the name was really close to an artist that we all know of and have great fear of... Skazi . I know it's probably not possible that he's a part of this artist, since it's in fact very enjoyable music, but what if he is? Have I sinned? Will I ever be forgiven? Do Jesus forgive people who enjoy listening to Skazi's music?
  8. What I was trying to say was that we all have different taste/needs. Anyway, thanks for the links. I'll probably download the full mp3s though, so I can get into the feeling of the songs better. In fact, I already have the We are Free album and it's not bad, but if I'm going to start buying records soon I have other discs with higher priority. It's definitely a part of what I classify as good music though As for where you can get samples of my papers, I don't have any web hosting for it (What's rapidshare? YouSendIt? etc.?), since I'm so poor because you don't pay me for the effort and time I put into it. It doesn't make sense, you say? I'm good at that. In fact, it's one of my best argumenting techniques. If I don't make sense, then it's very hard to find an argument against it, when it generally means that I couldn't come up with an argument in the first place.
  9. Let me ask you the same question.
  10. CDs you say... Well then CDex is probably the best way to go. I used it some time 8 years ago and if it's still big it should've improved alot You can get it here: http://cd-to-mp3.audiolaunch.com/cd-ripper/ Or you can use Windows Media player to rip your CDs into mp3s. You have to get a plug-in for it that you can find here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsme...ugins#MP3Create I've never done this, so I don't know how it's done, but since it's on microsoft's webpage it should just be "click this menu" type of thing. I guess you have WMP 10 installed and the plug-in is designed for WMP9, but I assume that it should work for WMP 10 too. Let me know if there are any problems, and I'll test the plug-in myself.
  11. I'll let you freely download any papers that I wrote if you can find them.
  12. Are you ripping from a vinyl player using line-in on your sound card? Let me see if I can find a program... Edit: Woah, it seems harder than I first thought... Google used to be my friend Anyway, here's a link I found, I think it should be a good guide how to do it: http://www.br0wn.co.uk/vinyltocd.htm
  13. If you really don't know what I do for a living I must say that you haven't read my posts at all... I guess you're just joking though. As you can see, there's already a chance for misunderstanding what you just wrote. *looks up vehemently in the dictionary* I'm glad that you think the quality of my English is good, but I'm sad that there's been so many hard feelings over the past weeks. However, I don't regret it, since I believe that the best way to start an argument, that's not just the same old politeneness where everyone agrees with eachother, is to make a controversial statement. I really don't feel that hard about downloading mp3s and that artists shouldn't get payed for their work, and I hope you understand this. However it's been interesting, and hard at times, discussing the matter. You may of course think what you like about me, but remember one thing, and it's that I will change if I feel that I do something wrong. Principles may be good to have, but they don't make up for great arguments. I've noticed in the last weeks that I have had many prejudice about this scene, which is understandable if you consider that I've only listened to psytrance for almost a year, and I've never once been to a psytrance party. I will keep my eyes and ears open and try to make myself an opinion from experience instead of from just my own thoughts. While I still don't buy any CDs, it may well change when my economy is a little more stable. Right now I live off student subsidies and loans, so I'm not really sure how much money I'll have by the end of the year. I'm also planning a trip to belgium in the summer and I can't be sure to get a job this summer, so I have to spend my money wisely and cut back on what I can cut back on. Unfortunately for you and your likes, music is one of the things that can be easily accessed without any payment except for the internet service, which I would be paying for anyway.
  14. I take it you're not mad at me for I am not mad at you. Maybe I'm going mad on my own. Colin, I mean no harm, I just have a hard time expressing myself using plain text. Love from Sweden. By the way, is it ok if I call you Colin?
  15. If 99% are against the ban, then theres a) something you're hiding from us that Cinos has made that makes him deserve the ban, or a mistake in banning him. This site is built up of it's members, not the moderators. If the members want him back he should get back!
  16. We "have" to pay that here too, but I've never met anyone that pays it... Or well, I have, but most people don't pay it, because they really can't control it anyway. Besides, if they send something through the air they shouldn't ask for money for it. It doesn't make sense. It's like if you'd scream something and everyone who heard it had to pay you. Crazy boons... I HATE MONEY! IT'S RUINED ALL MY CONVERSATIONS EVER! I'M NEVER DISCUSSING ANYTHING ECONOMICAL AGAIN! LET'S ALL BE FRIENDS! EDIT: Btw, I love the nostalgia. Keep it up people
  17. In what way is radio more like CD than mp3? Radio is free, mp3 is free. CD costs money.
  18. YES! I'm really just interested in how old-school you all are. Honestly I wonder how much the mp3 has helped the scene grow, I'm trying to prove a point, but it looks like it's the other way around. INTERESTING I MUST SAY!
  19. I love you Edit: I mean both. WHAT? I'm a little confused right now. I was hoping that this would lead to 100% mp3 You guys are too oldschool
  20. He's just a little sad... Banning him doesn't make it better :(:(
  21. Hello, I voted on mp3, because I haven't got a CD player at home, it's at work.
