  1. Nobody sells music these days. If some Dark Death sold 30 copies than Gee Am Ass sells 50. Almost twice as much but still pretty much nothing
  2. And it sucked the moment it was released. From day one. Arsim music
  3. Seriously though, Dark Psy. It killed the Psy Trance. And kiddie Full-On (You know, all the cheesy Israeli labels)
  4. Such topics probably. Especially the part with the St. Posford :drama:
  5. I just dislike that sleezy vibe in their music, the only one in my book that can do that style and get away with it is Tim Healy
  6. Heard it and didn't like it.
  7. I have recently interviewed Timo before his visit in Israel and it's indeet him and a friend. It rocks indeed. You can hear it here: http://www.myspace.com/timomaas
  8. High all! Am I alone here, appreciating this German wunderkind? Or do you as well enjoy his sometimes glitchy, sometimes cheesy, but always soulful IDM kinda tunes?
  9. Checking the Backroom Beats page on Discogs it seems I have confused the Flexitones album with the Swingers in Paradise album. The Flexitones album was much cooler than the SiP album. Though I was really dissapointed cause I really liked Will White's previous work as Propellerheads. Also, Merv Peppler is usually a name that can bring much more than a mish mash of ideas that album was. Wasn't an elevators music, true. But it wasn't Decksandrumsandrocknroll either http://www.discogs.com/release/12037
  10. Toires was cool as well, but I think my copy was from other label http://www.discogs.com/release/435604
  11. I really enjoyed the Abakus debut. Did he have a follow up?
  12. Tastes... I think that pretty much everything that was released on Backroom Beats was a terrible waste of my time and money. And I got it for a funny price. The first compilation was half decent and everything afterwards was yawnfest. IMHO
  13. It's much better than most of the Psy Chill out there
  14. I found it infinitely boring. The kind of music they play in elevators
  15. The new Perfect Stranger has some real slammers. The W, Free Cloud and Easy The new Ace Ventura remixes has some excellent material from what I've heard especially the Fiord (Antix) remix which is simply brilliant. And also "The Spark" is quite good. That's all I can think of right now
  16. It's on the cheesy side indeed. Nothing wrong with some cheese though :posford:
  17. Excellent move Nemo & Mars!
  18. 01 Badger - Intro 02 Telefon Tel Aviv - You Are The Worst Thing In The World (Sasha Invol2ver Remix) 03 Rone - Flesh(Sasha Invol2ver Remix) 04 Sasha Vs Ray LaMontagne - Eclipse 05 Sasha Vs Adam Parker - Lowlife 06 Charlie May - Midnight 07 Apparat - Arcadia (Sasha Invol2ver Remix) 08 Home Video - That You Might (Sasha Invol2ver Remix) 09 Ladytron - Destroy Everything You Touch (Sasha Invol2ver Remix) 10 M83 - Couleurs (Sasha Invol2ver Remix) 11 Thom Yorke - The Eraser (Sasha Invol2ver Remix) 12 Sasha - 3 Little Piggys 13 Engineers - Sometimes I Realise (Sasha Invol2ver Remix) What can be said about Alexander Coe, AKA DJ Sasha, that wasn't already said or written? Probably not much. Many DJ's and Producers in his caliber and age are long gone into the oblivion, the Hollywood honey trap or jumping from one rehab institution to another. Not Sasha. 4 years after successfully blurring the lines between terms DJ and Producer with his seminal Involver compilation/album/DJ mix he's back with this, second installment in the series. And while it's less genre defying and more straightforward club oriented compilation it once again sends copious amounts of sheer brilliance through the whole 73 minutes of this CD. This one is a must for everybody who LOVES Electronic Music and it doesn't matter what color are your pants and with what hand you shake your glowsticks. This is one of the few 2008 releases that you just cannot miss! 10/10
  19. A rumour says he's busy with some more "personal" projects at the moment :drama:
  20. Sorry to spoil the party but I prefer Mike's progressive tracks :drama:
  21. If you take "Songs in the key of X" (Album of a music that was inspired by X-Files) and rewind it back in the first track you'll hear a bonus song. It's called "0 is a number too". That was an awesome idea
