Conscious Dreams Kokopelli celebrates! Next may we celebrate the 10th year of existence of our smartshop Kokopelli in the centre of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. We don't want to pass this milestone in silence. We would rather make it known to the world with a bang! A rather chilly bang for that matter. Since chilled out music has been the soundtrack of the shop for many years we would like to present this soundtrack to the world. A soundtrack full of relaxed sounds, spaced out beats, feel good vibes and groovy melodies. In may we would like to present the world a brand new cd with unreleased chill out music. We have already started to collect some tracks but we could certainly do with some more to find the true gems that must be out there somewhere. Have you or someone you know made any chillout tracks that are dying to be released, please let us know and who knows... it might be your track that will be shining on the Kokopelli compilation. We will be mainly focussing on a little upbeat psychedelic chill out. But we are not afraid to squeeze in some different sounding tracks, be it idm, triphop, lounge or whatever boxes people have thought of so far. just got the yamaha hs 50m. pretty happy with them. they are 300 euro's a pair and they are active. i am sure there is better ones out there. but for this price they have a pretty good response in the whole spectrum. They could do with some more power though.

very boring album.. hardly even worth mentioning.. except for the fact they made some GREAT tunes in the past.. better fullon releases are many: va neocaine va god save the machine va accelerator 3.0 hydraglyph- kinetic manmademan- legend remixes va thelema menog the remixes principles of flight- nighttime lullabies new oood sunrize- ? space buddha- ? etc etc

imho this is good release.. its above average in total and especially in originality. Most tracks are pretty good, but some also lack some variety indeed.. It seems like its depending a little too much on the 'this is a not a usual fullon sound or style' factor. Don't get me wrong here.. its very good of colin to step outside the usual soundbank and style, but it could have done with a bit more power to back it up. Besides the fact it's got a good amount of humor its got plenty of original samples as well =) dont expect to find any blue red pill matrix stuff here I think i would love to see oood live. But i am not sure if the cd will find their way into my dj sets alot. We 'll see

flac is same quality as wave.. its just kinda zipped up.. but lossless.. google for it
