  1. Really good music can be made in Fruityloops, you just have to practice. I know several people that make great songs (concerning soundquality) in fruityloops. Switching to Cubase would make your productions sound worse the first few weeks and then, when you got the hang of it, they would sound the same like before.
  2. 2-3 days is not enough i think. But you're right, i cant force it.
  3. Thanks for the reply. I will take it easy as you said =) But how come i just can't put the ideas into work? I have so many ideas and while daydreaming i can compose entire symphonies - or just catchy grooves - but it feels so boring to MAKE the songs. Anyway, i will get into something else for a while. So, anyone else wants to share their opinions?
  4. If it's terrible, let me know!
  5. I like the drumhooks but some sounds are a little to loud. The bassline sounds fat and catchy. But the melodies are damn basic and a little boring. Technically, it's not bad. Why has no one replied to this one yet?
  6. How often do you feel uninspired? I feel that way now, and have felt so for about a month. I think i'm reaching the climax of uninspiredness now, and im even jealous at myself when i hear my previous productions. It feels like i'm never going to make one single track again. I've felt this way before - sometimes for more than one month. But now i really have the motivation to make a song, the ideas are floating through my head like never before but when i sit in front of Cubase it all goes away... I feel like the little noob i was a year ago, only with some more technical knowledge. God, i can't even make a hiphop-beat anymore. I'm sure many of you have felt the same sometime, please give me (and probably many others) your advice!
  7. I would love to be a Synestet... Do you see karmas around people and that stuff too?
  8. I've got it actually... Never used it seriously... How do i make a decent bass out of that?
  9. Are you talking about Steinberg Virtual Bass- 1 ? The bass guitar simulator?
  10. I got into goa/psy through commercial crap like antiloop and later melodic and uplifting trance. Got bored with the shit and bought some progressive goa compilations and artist albums by hallucinogen and astral projection. Have been into goa for about a year seriously, 2 years since i bought the first cd now. Unfortunately my legal cd collection is quite slim due to the poor cd-shop and some other problems...
  11. You have made some nice sounds and the beat is ok. The mix is actually not bad. But there is one thing that makes it scream amateure. The lack of scales! The notes in pro trance may seem a bit random but there is always use of a scale - mainly a one with 6 or 7 notes, and sometimes a little "blue notes" added in carefully to increase the feeling of chaos. Try to learn minor, phrygian and hexatonic scales - those could be useful - but experiment with other ones too. But always remember that to break the rules you will have to know them (note that i only listened to redrobbin, you may have improved your knowledge since then) But you had some very nice ideas and some psychedelic sounds. Just polish the synthesizing and learn the scales and you're on the way =)
  12. I don't know genres and stuff but i think you should replace the melody with several melodies that are linked together,a little more subtle. Also, a longer melody at 2 bars instead of one would make it more relaxing i think. The kick sounds tight and the cymbal rhythm is ok. What is it you want us to comment?
  13. Noob trance or what
  14. Hmm.... On the psyshop site i think the beija flor link leads to the droset perception track... because it has the same melody. The song that was linked to on the dorset perception though, sounded new and somewhat good.
  15. Just a humble question.... Sauna Trance = What?
  16. I think it looks fine. Hopefully the whole album is as electronic (please, no flamenco samples!) as the cover!
  17. Space Pussy i know, love that tune! And thanks to everyone else aswell!
  18. I know, live in a suburb myself. When get a job i will do the same thing
  19. Thanks for the reply, i will check i tout for sure!
  20. I rarely hear tunes faster than 150 bpm, but when i hear a really fast goa/psy track it certainly gives me an energy boost. How far can it go? Are there tracks reaching even 160 bpm? Do you have any tips on nice, fast tracks (and bad ones aswell )?
  21. hmm... what sort of work could finance such a collection. Are you maybe a... concern- owner?
  22. i have transmissions and that is a totally amazing album. However, the newer songs i've heard are maybe technically ahead but lack something.
  23. So here's my latest song. I want your suggestions on how to continue the song... because it's far from done. but of course any positive/ constructive feedback is greatly appreciated Stream: http://www.soundclick.com/util/Streamm3u.m3u?ID=2265323&q=hi My music page: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/5/qa2pirmusic.htm
  24. Is there any site with samples?
  25. Bubble'n'Tweak is good imo, but a little to happy vibe for me. I like Stretch Tastic, his cooperation with tristan on US2 much better. That tune has the right hallucinogen touch. Just boring he couldn't do the whole tune himself because the elements that don't sound hallucinogenic (i assume they are the tristan part) are not at all as good as the hallucinogenic ones (for example the twisted voice and some nice submelodies).
