Yes, this album is very weird, and it hasn't aged particularly well (imo) but there's really nothing like it (well, if there is, I have yet to hear it).
6/10
I have a brief question about it...
Which track lengths does it have?
Another thing: My erh... 'copy' has 3 different track, they all share the theme from "Planet X". The 3rd one was titled "Another Planet (Remix)".
But i can't find anywhere on the net, information about a remix of any of these tracks.
Are the 2 "real" tracks even supposed to sound similar?
Help me out here!
No, you probably just don't like it that much
Personally, it's the combination of extremely intricate patterns and moving, groovy melodies and percussion and bass and everything.... that does it all.
Basically, it's good from any point of view IMO.
I would rather have TLD 2 than Twisted 2, but most of all something new and mind-boggeling. But i think Posford has used all his tricks too much. He's gonna have to make a dark ambient cd or something
"Whaddawegoin' do Posford ma' maaan?"
"Dunno, mista' Prometheus. Le's jus' take these vocal's n' cuttemup an like... U kno dat effect make vocal go all 'krkkkkkahhhhhhkkrk' ye le's use dat wun."
"Great i de maan."
Brainwashing is Childs Play = Twisted goa with funky basslines and very melancholic and touching melodies
Blunt Instruments = Same kind of great melodies, but with more breakbeat/drum'n'bass approach
You can't go wrong with any of them!
