jea dude I'm not a true goa'er wait until u find out who i am maybe the fact that u say the market is labelling music in a false way, proves that the definition of what 'goa-trance' is, is something personal... don't get me wrong, i actually think u're right on this one, but i think we both have different opinions on what goa-trance is... and the fact that goa isn't made all made of fluffy happiness, is the point i was trying to make in my first post, maybe this will clear some things out

roight call me a nitwit but why is 'goa' supposed to be fluffy morning and happy? cuz every album posted so far in this thread is this kind of music......... i don't see what that music has in common with groups like lunar asylum, BOTFB,phreaky,cydonia, deviant electronics, synchro, quirk, xenomorph, hux flux, you name it............and as far as i know that's called 'goa' as well........ the way i see it, the groups mentioned in this thread surely are somehow related to 'goa' music, but the 'dark-side' of goa trance is always forgotten on this forum ! IMHO nowadays artists like bigwigs, moodsyne, procs, scatterbrain, steptime, penta, para halu, kluster,ka-SOL, sienis, tamlin, weird alchemy,flying scorpions,fractal glider (not what he makes now, I'm referring to his 'parasite' album), huopotassu mononen and so ... are just as well related to 'goa-trance' as the fluffy happyhappy morningreleases people are always talking of or maybe the whole definition of 'goa-trance' is just a personal thing........

hahahaa trueeeeeee forgot that one ! it seems i have forgotten a few more(there is just too much good music out there) 'The Sound of Goa Trance 2 : Acid Waves' 'Tntrance' 'Zep Tepi' 'Schlabbadheurst Rekkords 2' ............. probably some more that i've forgotten (and these are just my favourite oldskool compilations, not to mention the new ones)

i just like it so much because for me it's like a unique compilation, you won't find that sort of music on any other cd. they may come close(tales from the forest for example), but i really think that none never matched this cd, even the newer ones (like tales from the dark forest, the Oerebro cd's or the schlab cd's..) one more compilation that i really adore: Ibiza - Cosmic Conspiracy mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

For me, Accidental Occidentalism as well has been so for a loooong time, and will probably stay that way for ever the last track close-but-not-the-best: musica psychedelica scandinavica the eternal frequency

you naughty boy, condemning alcohol........i saw you;), yes yes i did personally i think that as long as u can handle the drug, and not bother anyone else, it's ok and for some people it alcohol they should stay clear off, for others it's...well something else (i don't take drugs at parties) for me the music counts the most, second the people (if it wasn't for them i wouldn't be goin to parties no mpore, i'd just be sitting here listening my music...) and third offcourse the location

true remember his 'live' performance cd in, play track, cd out, next cd in...etc etc well, then he certainly does it really well! cuz i didn't notice a thing when he performed here Personally, i like dino psaras the best but the sort of music, that's something completely different

i think psygarden had overgrown it's own capacity because of an internal conflict between moderators, the money supply for hosting the site stopped. now one of the moderators is planning to re-open the site under a different name, hopefully around februari. if he manages to collect enough money, that is....(hope so btw:)) So one more music freak from belgium, and there are even more on the board:o

WHERE CAN I BUY THIS ALBUM uni is amazing

sure it was released but (don't hate me if i'm wrong) i think it only came out on casette in moskow, or that's what i read so that is the reason for the bad quality it was released on the very very first parasense (PARAnoic SENSation) album named 'Krakakot' in 1999 if I'm not wrong and, to be honest, I think it's the best album they ever made, very full on(in), very creepy and dark while it certainly has these melodic vibes as well

ZIK IS CRAZY but I can't find any official release from him, can anyone tell me witch cd i missed? or when there will be a release from him? general info or like a homepage from this guy would also be verrry verrry naaaaais think the guy is greek, cuz i keep on hearing (very funny) samples in greek

everything is relative even in our little psycommunity you see for the 'mainstream' people who know all sorts of music from rock to rap to whatevveeeeeeer IM is far from mainstream, it's a new thing, so they still have to make up for themselves if they like it or not and for the 'psy'-people, who, mostly, know nothing no more but psy/goatrance, IM IS getting commercial, simply because they are so used to psy that EVEN IM makes them think of mainstream music, witch is like ummm completely not true.. conclusion: people who think IM is getting mainstream are just plain spoiled, and should pose a question to themselves : 'what is mainstream'? P.S.: I don't like the album as well, but i do know (or i think that i know) in what kind of world we live in
