  1. And that pisses me off. When you go to a musical venue, you should be at least a bit interested in the music, and not just let dj winamp do his thing. It's dance music, it's supposed to be mixed in order to have a steady beat going all night long.
  2. I guess you're never gonna dance again then, since guilty feet has got no rhythm?
  3. Crop Circles - Lunar Civilization Well, in fact I'm listening to a set I did in 2002, playing a lot of my goa favorites. Next up : Shakta - Lepton Head (Deedrah Remix)
  4. Nice to see this happening, too bad saikosounds is pushing the release date. Or who ever it is I've only heard one of the tracks, but damn it's a good one. It's the one with the harmonica and jessie ventura (for real).
  5. Yeah, that seems to be the industry standard in many ways, I worked a lot with it last year when I went to sound engineering myself, and it's pretty neat. My biggest problem with it was actually the Mac layout (since it's on mac, duh). I never tried it as a midi sequencer though, only did some mixing of tracks and sound for movies.
  6. I usually save before I add something, in case it might cause a crash. After some tweaking I save again. At least that's what I should do ... but I often forget.
  7. I totally agree, I used to work in reason, but the sound was not good enough, it's kinda muddy, or as you said "it really clouds up the sound". And because I couldn't be arsed in doing the whole rewireing thing, I just moved on to another sequencer.
  8. Namaste! After listening to your tracks I battled my inner demons and came in contact with my inner cosmos of spiritual healing. I know where to go now, thank you so much. The best of luck in the future with your label! Boom shivaya!
  9. I think I heard somewhere that Twisted had sold 75.000 copies. Or perhaps that was both Hallucinogen albums? Or all the albums Simon has made combined? I can't remember.
  10. Keep in mind that he's the biggest name within psytrance, not many psy acts/djs are even close to getting that kind of money for a gig. Most psytrance acts/djs gets less money for a gig than your normal top20 dj who plays mp3s at your local shitty club where drunk people get togheter to dance, make out and perhaps start a fight.
  11. One thing that is a fact is that psytrance and euro dance have a lot in common; hard lasershot bassdrums, sawbasslines often at the 16ths and crazy saw synths all over the place.
  12. Frontier Psychiatrist is starting up a new label these days, he's looking for artists now. PM him.
  13. Raum means Room doesn't it? A bit funny if you're a Norwegian (which you're probably not) but "dritt" in Norwegian means "shit".
