  1. Perhaps they'll hook up with The Undertaker? He once nailed Hulk Hogan in a coffin, so he's pretty badass.
  2. I prefer these : Not the best sound quality, but they are the best when it comes to playing loud behind a bigass PA rig. (imho of course) So it kinda depends if it is for home mixing or playing at parties.
  3. You missed the point. If you use FLS, you're a tonedeath skazi wannabe, if you use cubase or logic you got perfect pitch.
  4. I checked badlol now, but no parties were listed ... yet (let's hope)
  5. That would make an interesting poll indeed. The money has to come from somewhere, and that is sales. And also, regarding people who think all music should be free. PLUR and party cred won't pay the rent nor your food.
  6. - Allthough Simon Posford jokes could be cool, they are just as boring as the Chuck Norris jokes.
  7. If you get royalties, you do. If the track still sells/gets airtime that is.
  8. Now this is a great poll. I'm looking forward to checking the results when more people have voted. You should have added another option aswell, 0. A lot of artists (mostly new) get nada for a track on a compilation by Another Bedroom Records Label. I'm not saying that's a good thing, but it sure does happen.
  9. You could also try using the RV7000 box, to get that backwards reverb effect.
  10. What about calling them "tracks"? I like "tunes" as well. Whatever rocks your world.
  11. I've had worse conversation partners. Though, these people were over 85 and demented.
  12. http://www.bluemars.org Three ambient streams, Bluemars, Cryosleep and Voices from Within. Bluemars and Cryosleep are my favorites. I seldom hear a track I don't like on these streams. Just thought you guys should check it out. Or did you all know this aready? Bluemars has been a favorite of mine for years.
  13. Some people work that way, some people do not. It's a matter of taste and what works best for you. I sometimes start working on an intro, then I develope that into a track, other times I start making a beat and add layers to that, and so on and so on. But in general I find it best to create the foundation of the track first, then start adding various FX/layers and sometimes automation.
  14. Bola - Fyuti <- also a very good album. Check out some other Bola stuff as well, but that tends to be a bit more on the IDM side.
  15. Shulman of course, his two first albums are great, third one being released tomorrow. Also VA - Natural born chillers (aleph zero records) and the chill compilations from peak records are worth checking out.
  16. Good point, some of these cds are so old that lines between trance and psytrance weren't drawn yet. At least not to the extent we have to day.
  17. I'm piss poor, so I guess I'm out of the question here.
  18. 4096 BIT? That's neat, mine stops at sucky 24bit So I only have around 140dB of dynamics.
