  1. dicovery is quite good . i only used the actual nord lead once, but i can tell u that this little program can make amazing sounds, it even imports real nord lead patches!!!! i know the hardware is best, but to me who make music on the go with my lap and midi controller . this vst is essential. i would like people who say that hardware versions are far superior to post some songs made with it, and sofware supprters do the same.. lets hear the difference anyway is one of the best vsts around and the best nordlead emulation available. the ability to synthetize is in the human brain still,, i hope
  2. id say a good percsion sampler like battery of kontakt i prefer battery and theres v2.0 already out, but i havent tried that one .. yet. and of course get good samples !!!!! i dont recommend using percussion synth once i tried waldorf attack, buut foun d much easidr to work with samplesss
  3. Dont get audigy,,, this is a card for videogames and dvd,, not for making music. anyone , including me that has experience with semi.pro cards like this and profesional soundcard can tell you this,,, it may look attractive because of all the "special features" , but in reallity this is NOT a professional soundcard... why spend on something u will replace soon after. My best advice is to get something with the same price, but way much better,,, like the maudio audiophile or any delta series (which are as cheap as $100)... or an EMU pci which has DSP for better processing and hardware accelerated effects. (it is now owned by Creative which makes the audigy too so it cant be that hard to get) believe me i had an audigy some time ago ( im sure they have improved but still) and i regretted all the time , and wished i had gone for maudio audiophile... now i use firewire but if i was buying i would go for an eMU those are incredible for its price check it http://www.audiomidi.com/common/cfm/product.cfm?pid=4810 it doesnt look as fancy ,, but who needs that anyway when u got DSP!!!
  4. congratulations Visua,, nice to see ya here along with all these creww.. seems like an excellent cd im gonna get this!!!! cheerssss
  5. hi man ,, glad u like it, yes we try to make it as funky as we can ,, the synth effects ure talking about is with gforce minimonsta which i think is one of the best softsynths and the best moog emulation available,,, check it out!! thnxx jesus

  14. hi me and my friend Jose from Mexico have this project called Pixan in which we try to blend the dark , nightime music with progressive sounds. We have been doing it for two years and now we think we are ready to get our music known, so we want to show labels what we are about. i really dont know if this the way to go but... anyway. Here is a link which my argentinian friend zyp from Megalopsy provided kindly in his site 3rdworldtracks in which he showcases latinamerican psy producers (awesome work man!!) this is the link: http://3wt.psy-works.net/artists.php?id=_pixan (some of the stuff is a bit old) pd. thanx zyp. here is a preview of the new stuff: http://s39.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=22NS4PJ...043PT5J4X0A3GSY Currently we form part of a pool of psytrance producer in web-based label www.kascabell.com One of our songs is gonna be in a compilation "13:20" by Haki (thnx too man). its gonna be distrubuted through the site and, hòpefully on cd. So .. labels and promoters, we hope you take the time to download and listen to our music.. Peace. Jesus and Jose (Pixan)
  15. yeahhhhhhhhhh that sucks!! no more transient'???? damn
  16. Music from southafrica rules!!!!! if you dont feel the groove and the funkyness that sets them apart from the pool of clone acts israeli or israeli sounding. Artifakt, Shift, Slug, Broken Toy, Hydrophonic, the best tracks ive heard in the later time como from these people. A case apart is damage that is a perfect example of what can happen when reaching a bigger market (Sold) . I really dislike Chemical Crew sound, and to me that is the past, mainsream trance. The new broken toy album brekas away from all that "neo full on" crap that seems to be so in. In my opinion, south africa has the most innovative trance now, followed by Portugal, and my all time favorite Sweden (Crommossome rules!) well thats my kind of music. I am really sick of the "big names" in psy. South African artists seem not to be in that big rock star attitude. Cheers
  17. this is my favorite album of the year so far,,,!! go jamesss!!
  18. linplug albino 2 refx vanguard refx slayer 2 novation v station muon tau pro blip ohmforce minimonsta rgcaudio z3ta vst freak!!! hardware roland sh-101 waldorf q thats enough for me
  19. Here are a couple of tracks i put together, the past month i have been working alone ( i usually work with a friend as Pixan). The style is darker and more agressive. Check "Deep Zero" is the one i like the most, comments are most wellcome!! the other tracks is "Seeds of Destruction" and its dark too a bit more minimal, i still am not 100% sure about this one, so some comments are needed. Enough words heres the link: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/9/pixanmusic.htm
  20. learn some scales man .,, its not that hard... one day someone wl create a program that composes music randomly but whats the point ??? where the feeling... ??automatic arpegiattor for all melodies???? can that even be considered music?? not by me, anyway.. but il sure do for nowadays nosense fullon trance-. check the link above its very good
  21. hey thanx a lot guys!!! its always good to hear that u liked something we have put a lot of soul into. it does feel like we are on a right path... our new songs will be a bit more agressive, but the style remains funky... by the way were using cubase sx2 (will move to 3 with new cpu), all the vst instruments and effects i can get my hands on (for synths i prefer albino, vanguard, slayer and z3ta) (fx i love the omhforce for felays and flanger: waves and tc works for compression and reverb).. we have 2 souncards one MOTU 828 MKII for studio, and Echo Indigo for the road. Event project studio monitors and m-audio oxygen midi controller. No hardware synth yet, but hopefully some day, if i work hard... hehe Hope to be releasing later this year.. See you guys around
