I came across nice quiet fast tracks from Aes Dana and HUVA Network and there was I thinking about how beautiful a set with such music would be before the party (imagine Sun going to down through the horizon at a nice open-air party at some nice location) ...progg isn't always nice and 130-140 bpm stuff is boring and too "in your face" So these are the tracks (mp3 stream from psyshop): Aes Dana - Opalin (Sonica Edit 2005) [V/A - Vajra / Indica Music / 2006] Aes Dana - Digitalys [V/A - Apsara / Suntrip Rec / 2005] HUVA Network - Overload (Putput Mix) [HUVA Network / Ultimae Records / 2004] So, basically, I'm looking for this kind of music and I'm sure you guys can name me at least 2-3 tracks. This could be high paced chill like these tracks as well as low paced melodic psytrance... well, anything that sounds similar - subtle, floating and between 100-120 bpm marks.

Dance N Dust Records news for 2006
amphiton replied to pr0fane's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
Samples from Decoy's album sound very promising... interesting stuff, looking forward. -
Track #1 is definitelly my favourite here, the rest sounds too housy for me and I'm not sure I want to listen to it again, unless there's a house party with drinks and girls at the pool ...and stuff like that. Iboga explores new markets.

Personally I don't find 'sounding like someone' as a positive thing. ...especially like D-Nox & Beckers

much darker stuff, totally different style, same high quality you should check FREq's new track V/A - Kodama ›› samples. I like it and it's a bit different from his style, imo.

I got totally in love with Nyquist - Flatline [V/A - Wireless / 2005 / Plusquam Rec] - dark, rolling, psychedelic (!), hard and dirty. So there I go to plusquam's web-page, enter 'artists' section and look Nyquist... can't find it, but accidentaly see FREq's info and there this FREq :: aka Aran F Gallagher (Nyquist) ...and in the releases section @ V/A - Wireless I see this: "Even deeper and also even more dirty is the track of Nyquist. Behind this new project we can find nobody less than Aran Gallagher, better known as FREq" Didn't know about his alter egoes, but I like this sound and want to hear more like this. Any info about future releases or anything?

Iboga Records presents its first compilation in 2006. This time Yuli Fershtat has compiled a follow up on his succesfull "Set:4" compilation from last year. Further more you will find top tuned tracks by Yotopia, James Monro & Dick Trevor, Morax and an interesting collaboration between Annarchy (Anna Hefetz), Dick Trevor (from Green nuns of the revolution), and George Barker (From Slinky Wizard). Elegant universe is another interesting collaboration between the two israeli artists Miki Litvak & Amir Hardon, Miki also very well known as "Domestic". Last but certainly not least we can present the debut release of the new project "Fish by Yuli Fershtat and the notorious Dj Zombi. Another smashing compilation from Iboga! This new compilation is compiled by our japanese label dj Satoshi Aoyagi, aka DJ So. He's made aware of himself with his very special style of deep progressive trance and perfect mixing skills. He is resident for the Labyrinth, which is probably the best progressive Open Air party around. The compilation contains tracks of Decoy, Sensient, FREq, Bitmonx vs Fabio, Earsugar, Ticon, Fitalic and Ryan Halifax 1. Decoy - Cat Magic 2. Sensient - Dissolve 3. FREq - Sunglider 4. Bitmonx & Fabio - Deep Sense 5. Earsugar - Fortaste 6. Fitalic - My Destiny 7. Ryan Halifax - Chovolate 8. Andre Absolute - Lost and Found Samples

Uptempo works well at parties/open-airs, and I chill can be enjoyed much better at home.
