  1. Benza - Wedontneeduaroundhereanymore X-Dream - Panic In Paradise Koxbox - Go Fly A Kite
  2. Check out Zvuki Belovodya. It's all about floating sounds and soundscapes. Perfect to put on after a hard day in school, or at work. Altho I haven't found it in any store I only have it on mp3. It's a promo from 2003 so I wonder if it will ever get released. Anyway, it's the best floating-sounds-only-album I've ever heard.
  3. For me it has always been Sweden. But since I discovered South African artists, that is the best country atm.
  4. Astral Projection - Let There Be Light (you know it ) Infected Mushroom - Return of the shadows (the end) There are so many but i'll never get sick of those two. Sometimes I just sit and rewind them over and over again
  5. 1. The Gathering 2. Classical Mushroom 3. BP Empire (not even close to TG and CM) Rest is crap
  6. Rinkadink Because his sound is "funny" I love the driving basslines along with the kicks. The soundseffects he uses blends in so perfectly. They way he put structure to a track, mixing the effects, adding the percussions, the variation. So good! I will also say that Fractal Glider is a genious Somewhat same as above.
  7. Well. The Hallucinogen site states that the UNS2 tracklist has been changed as well as the Shpongle one. Or should I say that the webmaster for the site said it will be changed. "Also "The Unusual Suspects 2" tracklist is different, but don't have more news about it. Wait and see..." Believe whatever you want to believe.
  8. Dunno if that album is released yet. But... The Joti/Posford track was supposed to be released on UNS2. But now when it's released on Joti's album they will probably remove it from UNS2.
  9. I only have the Astrofunk album. It's progg with elements of some funk around. Some sweet sounds and melodies. I'm not a progg freak but I enjoy this kind of sound more then alot of other progg out there.
  10. OMG. I thought that was so bad that I deleted it from my harddrive (I always dl before buy). And I almost never do that Well, what do you know. Good comps this year: Rehashed The Turning Hadracadabra
  11. I don't think it's that great. Pretty dark but kinda dull.
  12. Beja Flor is terrible imo. I'm so glad they took it out. Now I have some hope for a really good album again
  13. In no particualar order. Hallucinogen - Gamma Goblins Part 2 Infected Mushroom - Tommy The Bat Hux-Flux - Bring Your Own Bios Astral Projection - Nilaya Xerox & Freeman - Extra Hard Sounds
  14. I too like CPU. His album is very good. Heavy and driven(?) Anyone knows if a second one is coming?
  15. Has anyone seen the Son Kite Tokyo DVD. Is it any good? I hope it isn't like the Vision Quest DVD. That was just terrible. One track there, another there from various artists. So how is it? Do they play a whole live set and that is what you see. Because that is what I want to see.
  16. I don't understand how you can say that Digital Mandala is cheesy To me it's what psytrance is all about. I find stuff like Zorba and Yahel to be cheesy Maybe I got the word cheesy all wrong. Fractal Glider is a genious.
  17. Maybe some tracks on Deviant Species new album. 'In the hands of the randomiser'
  18. If you don't like that CD I feel very sorry for you. It must be tough finding psychedelic music that you like
  19. I think Digital Mandala is one of the best albums ever. I really love the way he choses sounds and put them together. He took some of the Digital Mandala style and mixed it with a clearer sound but never removed the amount of psychedelica. It's kinda hard to know in which direction he has gone because the new tracks I've heard is very different from each other. He also has a new track on VA - Source which is also a good one. But that track missing some crazy synth riffs and instead focus on a clearer sound with nice melodies. I just love it His Gremlin Chan Remix is the last one on VA - Rehashed, its not fast. But it has melodies to die for His Etnica - Triptonite remix has everything Parasite and Digital Mandala had/has, and more Just check the CD out and you will understand
  20. I'm speechless, I am without speech. Have anyone heard VA - Rehashed? Well, I have. He has some tracks on it and I almost start crying when I listen to them They are so insanely good. His Gremlin Chan Remix is melodic, playful and yet a pure masterpiece. The whole CD is good. In fact, its the best VA cd I've heard this year Maybe I should write a review instead. But I suck at it. Why don't you do it DP Fractal Glider is currently #1
  21. Some pretty good tracks. Finally some melodies. I enjoy this one much more than the regular full on release. Maybe you will too?
  22. Forget about genres. I really hate the question "which style is it?". I end up with the answer "It's psytrance" in 98% of the cases. 1% I answer "It's chillout". The other 1% I answer "It's some progg/minamal crap". Concentrate on the moment.
  23. Well. The sleve says "Written by Ott / Simon Posford" but also "Programmed, mixed, produced by Ott" so maybe he had a smal impact on the tracks. And he plays the guitar on almost every track. Wether it's not enough to call it a Posford project or not can be discussed.
  24. VA - Rehashed (!!!) VA - Solid Grapes of Wrath & Meteloids - Tits on Fire Deviant Species - In The Hands of The Randomiser I considered to buy Kukan Dub Lagan's album. But now I've heard Ten Madison's new one and I think I'll buy that instead.
