  1. Analogue Rytm, 303, JP8000, and some modules...Its super nice to have the Rytm and use it as a clock source when I travel or don't have my laptop+ midiman at hand.
  2. Hardware makes it a lot easier. I recently got a drum machine and now playing live is much more accessible.
  3. meh, grindcore just needs some getting used to, like any intense metal music. Speedcore and gabber(euromasters lol) would probably be grossest for me.
  4. Lets avoid the straw-manning. I didn't say they're nazis or even all neo-fascists(and the head defense position in the new interim government is occupied by a far right-wing leader); nor am I saying your all pro west of whatever. I don't think we have any big disagreements here. Though I would never call Russia a "commie" state. Thats a contradiction on so many levels.
  5. Even if NATO never agreed not to expand the consequences are obvious and still a form of aggression. Also people call the Azov battalion nazis because they're run by neo-fascists who are fond of Nazi ideology and such. I understand not wanting to be under Russia's imperialistic control, however ultimately your just trading one set of masters for another and there is a good chance it'll be a shit show either way considering your proximity to the would be empire. You understand that Russia was pouring money into Ukraine to sedate the politicians yet you're ok with the West doing the same exact thing. Do you think the Janukovich regime would have been toppled with out billions of western dollars flowing into appropriate pockets throughout Ukraine? You think that western control will subside once the conflict is over and Ukraine will join NATO? I try not to take sides in these sorts of debates because I don't think people should be content with switching owners. What Ukraine needs is real sovereignty.
  6. I recently ordered a video synth kit and put the thing together. It is pretty awesome. https://vimeo.com/122271675
  7. Yes there is information warfare between NATO and Russia. Both have a plethora of propaganda. Crying about someone "falling" for the Russian propaganda machine while suckling off the teat of Western propaganda just makes you look a little silly. I wouldn't understate the role of the azov battalion in the Ukrainian conflict. From my understanding according to sources such as vice and others, they happen to be one of the only units formidable enough to fight back against the russian backed rebels/russian military. I recommend you watch the whole Russian Roulette series. Also it isn't atypical for the west to back neo-fascist groups in order to achieve political ends; they've done so historically speaking many times. I wouldn't pin the blame solely on Russia considering NATO's eastward expansion via sponsoring and toppling the russian backed Ukrainian regime which used to serve as a sort of buffer state between the blocks. NATO and the US are actively seeking a monopoly on global hegemony and it would be foolish to expect other geo-political players to just roll over and take it.
  8. He is right. The military industrial complex is just aching for more conflict. First they arm the enemy, then they start yelling about how they're armed and how we should take them out. Then we attack them and the military types make bank each step of the way.

    Ovnimoon - Holistic

Ovnimoon is really good however, unfortunately he is also super formulaic and many of his songs sound the same... Its going to get old fast, in fact it already is for me, if he doesn't change things up.
  10. Lol satanists. Are you for real? 99% of satanists are just fucking with weak impressionable christians. Silly people everywhere. I'm more worried of pedophile catholic priests and other such religious leaders than satanists haha
  11. That isn't what I meant by my comment. Of corse technology can't make up for talent. Technology is the tool and it has improved over the years. Epsilon Aurigae is a nice track -----^ He needs to ascend to the next plane. I feel like he has pretty much got it. So close. If he continues his improvement I can see him being one of my favorite acts in the future. *crossing fingers*
  12. I have a Japanese strat but its neck got warped when i left it next to a window one winter. I'm so dumb some times....
  13. Nice track. I've never heard of cybered before. Cool kick/bass combo and synth build progression. I give the track 7/10. Changing things up a little
  14. technology has come a long way. Imo the head count does help but it matters less now than it did back then.
  15. Padmapani- I'm a little shocked to be called a conservative haha. My roommate is an anarcho-communist and we share similar sentiments. Although I sympathize with the movement and the sad history behind it(Spain and Russia and how they were massacred by everyone) I find its vision to be a bit out of reach and over idealistic (nothing wrong with being a little idealistic imo). I think its too big an overhaul of the system and over estimates the malleability of human nature and human intellect. desysko- I'm a little scared of ancaps tbh. The Ayn Randian vision of society pitting every man for himself and fetishizing freedom and rejection of social pact to a dangerous extent. In the last presidential election cycle here in the US, Ron Paul was asked what would happen to a 30 yo man who chose not to pay into health insurance and happened to fall deathly ill. Ron Paul replied church philanthropy as the crowd cheered "let him die!" Sickening imo. I do agree with libertarian types regarding social liberalism but not at all regarding economic liberties and the religious like worship of the free market. Anoebis- From my understanding of your post we seem to be on the same page. Well regulated capitalism with a strong social safety net is the way to go. Why not take advantage of the strengths of both systems, that is capitalism's distribution of scarce resources, innovation, incentive structure and socialism's human friendly mindset. Ormion- I do agree with your 2nd and 3rd point. There will never be a perfect society because humans are flawed being. Now to say people aren't left or right is a stretch, though I do understand how circumstance does heavily impact ideology. Cynos- What points of liberalism do you agree with? What are your critics of liberalism? Scandinasia- I do have some anti-capitalist views but I don't outright dismiss the system. It does have it pros that sort of manage some of humanities weaknesses. The way I see it history is a gradual shift to the left and we tend to be right more than not.
  16. He's definitely good and hope he improves even more. Heavy pleiadians/crop circles influences here. Some of his melodies are so so but the sounds and textures are right on. He is good with the sounds and energy but not so much with the mixing and mastering. My 2 cents
  17. Greetings fellow psyfans and goaheads. I have some questions for the community regarding your political views and am hoping to get a pulse on wether there are any trends or consensus (if any) politically speaking amongst our niche community. Are you interested in politics? If so, how do you identify politically? It wouldn't hurt to mention where you are from and if you support some local parties, if any. I'll go first. I am addicted to politics and news in general. I really enjoy Vice news and progressive talk radio/youtube channels. I also enjoy listening to opposition outlets and some of the crazies as well to know what i'm up against. Keeping up with the news gives me clarity and I find it strangely therapeutic. I often find myself listening to political talk shows or congressional sessions in my free time and while I'm in bed preparing for sleep. I'm from the US of A and identify as a social democrat/social libertarian. We have a two party system here, which is largely frustrating because you feel forced to vote for the lesser of two evils rather than supporting a movement that you actually agree with. Our spectrum here has shifted so far to the right considering international standards, which is quite a shame imo. I look forward to reading your responses and perhaps even starting a dialogue about general politics or something specific if you guys are up for it.
