First of all I'm not here to argue. And yes you're right I've expressed my opinion(which I'm quite sure is correct) I don't have anything to add to this especially sense there isn't anything to add to it. These topics (life after death, the soul, reincarnation) are all fun to talk about but there will never be progress or anything to add to the conversation. Its stale, static, and not something worth dwelling on. Off to another thread I go ~~~~~~~

Credibility? o you are too funny. Give me a break, that was barley a personal attack.I couldn't care less about your opinion regarding my credibility anyway. If I'm not credible then no one here is credible, especially those trying to pass religious views as science.
-
If the bible is the foundation of your clarity, I wouldn't trust your train of logic nor your recommendations when it comes to books that do "scientific" exploration.
-
There are plenty of religious cooks go flat line and are reanimated only to tell silly stories of the heavens and such. How can an intellectual conversation be based off of no evidence? They didn't end up dying so they don't even know what life after death really means. Calling people with blind faith "intelligent" is subjective. Its your opinion! Sure these "intelligent" people have been and continue to debate this topic but the truth is that this matter falls into an area I'd call the unknown. We'll never know and this is why these so called intellectuals are caught up on the topic. Good, the true intellectuals will do all the earthly work and use methods such as the scientific theory to conduct there business and achieve progress and improvement. hey rotting into the ground isn't that bad. At least you'll give back to the environment for once in your life.
-
So because I don't believe in something that has no facts or proof backing it, I'm ignorant ?!?!?! And you are right? What sort of reality to you live in?
-
There is no god nor eternal bliss. After death you rot into the ground. Arent these things obvious? Its very sellfish and immature to have blind faith in this stuff.

Why does no one in the US appreciate GOOD electronic music?

I live in virginia and I have experience more or less the same as you have amongst the people here. I've already gotten over my issues with the fact that they all call electronic music with a 4/4 beat techno or that they are so artistically and intellectually deprived. As some of you have already mentioned americans aren't too bright; In fact they're like sheep who flock together worshiping trends and mainstream media/music. This also explains why they're all "Christians", yet few actually uphold a genuine christian moral code. They go to Church only when they want there sins to be forgiven so they can live in eternal bliss after there pathetic lives back in reality. The fact that americans are a bit narrow sighted explains why there is no scene here. Too few people actually know about the genre because they're flooded with a mainstream product that is made for the masses. This product (has a distinct image)targets certain crowds arousing sexual desires/boosting confidence/materialistic boasting/gangster music?/ and others. Goa trance has a lot more deeper meaning than any of the music people listen to here. In my opinion most people won't understand it. I am a young polish-american goa trance artist and I plan to keep making it as a hobby as long as I can; given that I am financially stable. American economics and foreign policy paints a bleak picture of its future and luckily I have a dual citizenship (polish and american) so if things ever go to shit here I'll just come over and handout with you guys in Europe! Also, I'm almost good enough to start my eps, so you guys better watch out -
can't seem to find much on youtube....

I agree that some of his tracks are hard to digest (especially on the newest album which I dont care for apart from Up Days) but he does compose some really good psychedelic and mental music. Age Age, Fusion Froide, Frog Party, Spiral Dive, and Nuage D'encens (amongst others) are awesome tracks however he lacks in consistency. The rest of his tracks on the albums seem like fillers to me. Over all I see this as good news. I'm glad hes releasing more material, hopefully its not the fillers...
-
the first two are cool. I dont know any other music like this though...
-
Also all of his tracks crutch on 303 acid line... which is cool but it also made him a one trick pony when it come to sound variety .
-
I'm not convinced about the whole shamanic dimensions of the mind thing(even though there are plenty of tracks with that theme) In my opinion goa is the purest form of trance.

Radi you sure do go out of your way to complement boris on this forum. He's got some good tracks here and there but thats about it. I personally enjoy some old electric universe tracks and most paradise connection (that song with the bells gets too repetitive) Stardiver is nice especially radio space. Sad thing is all those tracks are old and haven't really stood the test of time when it comes down to it. edit also all of his new stuff is full on :x

I agree with the fact that goa is too extreme also I'm torn wether it should or even could go mainstream. The average person enjoys minimalistic music with a catchy hook and a verses ect. Let them have it their way.... and we'll have the good stuff ^^ Another factor especially for people not familiar with electronica is the fact that there are no vocals, how can the simpletons sing along to all those beeping noises?!?!
