  1. In my opinion the most talented musician in darkpsy genre was Zolotarenko from Parasense. All stuff that he released under various projects was pure gold to me. Unfortunaley nowdays darkpsy tends more to higher tempos with agressive approach and in my case most important thing in dark psytrance is atmosphere. There is few projects today who are able to create such envoiorment. To be honest, I'm not following a lot darkpsy releases lately, so don't hesitate to list some interesting stuff
  2. Nova Fractal uploaded new demo on his soundcloud page entitled ''Sentience''. You can check out 3 minutes long sample here
  3. Yeah, M-Run is probably best newcomer this year, fingers crossed for his full lenght!
  4. WAV/FLAC MP3 DOWNLOAD: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/arronax-crossing-the-rubicon Neogoa is proud to present the long-awaited new full-length release by Arronax (Mirza Aljić), one of the earliest psychedelic trance projects from Bosnia and Herzegovina. His alias Arronax was introduced in 2004 when he started to work on his debut album, Dreamcatcher, which was released one year later on Symbiosis Records. Since then he published various tracks on different compilations before deciding to start work on his second album back in 2011. Now, three years later, Crossing The Rubicon is finally released, ushering in a new era of Arronax’s sound and vision. Mastering by Stryder at Beavernest Atop Studios with artwork by Richpa at Neogoa Design. 7. I decided to start a new topic where I'm gonna introduce some Croatian goa trance projects and some of them are well known, but there is few of them which aren't exposed yet. For all of you who are not familiar with this small country, check out wiki page and learn about Croatia on Wikipedia Few very important facts: we love footbal (like most Europeans), drinking a lot of beer, got pretty nice nature and lately some interesting goa trance music For older followers of goa trance music, one project is pretty much well known - Dogma (3000) (Damir Ludvig & Goran Stetic). They released one full lenght as Dogma called ''Land Of Utopia'' on Blue Moon Productions and later continue to work as Dogma 3000. Not a big fan of their later work, but Land Of Utopia album is one of my favorite old school gems, there is few outstanding tracks. Now we gonna skip to recent stuff and introduce projects which are still active. Liquid Flow (Tomislav Savic) who released one full lenght album: Presence (on Dimensional Records), one EP Goa Terminal (Shivlink Records) and bunch of tracks on all well known goa trance labels in new millenium (Ezel-Ebed, Dimensional, Suntrip, Cronomi, Metapsychic, Shivlink). Vox (Tomislav Crncic) is other well known Croatian project, he comes from Zagreb (just like his neighbour Savic), captol of Croatia. He released on full lenght album ''Innerpolarity'' on Metapsychic Records and few tracks on Phototropic, Sita, Old Is Gold and SonarScope. M-Run (Mario Matakovic) is latest addition to our list. He released two great tracks on Cronomi Records compilation Erta Alé, but he was involved in music production even earlier. He was in Mokk project, alongside with Hrvoje Golubic and they released tracks on Balloonia Ltd. and Hadshot Haheizar in 2002. Project Shidartha (Petar Hadrovic) cousin of Matakovic from M-Run project also comes from Zagreb. So far he released four tracks. On Croatian Psytrance compilation ''Entities'' on Multiverse Records, Cosmic Flower Records and latest track ''Astral Levitation'' on Neogoa/UAF Records. Screw Loose (Sasa Dukic). Man behind this project is much more known to psytrance community as Psilocybian or Mammal Footwork. He released under his psytrance allias a bunch of tracks on various labels and one full lenght on Ovnimoon Records. As Mammal Footwork he also released one EP and few tracks. His latest project Screw Loose appeared on ''Dimensional Gateway'' and it represent his unique vision of modern goa trance. Nova Fractal (Renato Brnic) is practicly new founded project who appeared on Neogoa/UAF Records ''Future Architecture'' and soon after he released EP ''Main Sequence Star'' You will hear a lot from this guy in the future. Christian Wolf (Kristijan Ilisinovic) is my latest discovery. As far as i know, this guy started with music production recently and he didn't released anything yet, but on his soundcloud page you can find some pretty much interesting goa trance tracks. I'll have my eye on this guy for sure. So this would be goa trance artists from Croatia and I'll update this topic whenever someone put some new stuff online.
  8. Already heard almost all tracks from Trinodia's LP and it will be a blast. Can't wait to check that out after mastering
  9. I wouldn't comment music (pop psytrance isn't my cup of tea) but cover artwork is roflmao

  17. Prff, I didn't updated this topic for a while, so just wanted to keep you updated with my latest activites. April was pretty much busy month for me, started to work on a new cover artwork for one compilation and hopefully if all goes well you will be able to check out final product. In the meantime I started with something different than usual fractal stuff, it' got much more spacey/cosmic touch and it's in deep ''i have to finish it'' phase so here is preview, it's called Nebulæ I am pretty much happy with colours and I think I'm gonna go with pinky/black/green-cyan colours in next phase. Hopefully gonna add some nice cosmic elements in middle so it shouldn't look that much plain and simple. As always your opinions and suggestions are welcomed. Small reminder: if you need some graphic for cover artwork/banner/flyer, let me know I would be happy to help you out Cheers
  18. I don't know, someone got idea to call it that way, or newschool goa trance. If i remember well, few guys on Isratrance forum also used term 2nd wave of goa trance. One more time, I'm not saying it's different type of music, it's basicly the same form, same formula, only difference is that now artists got better and cheaper technology for creating and recording that music. I guess that term ''neo'' stands for something new and for me is positive thing to have nice representation in timeline of goa trance music. Maybe in next 10 years, young people who gonna listen to goa trance will be greatful to know that actually goa trance music was very hot (popular) in 90's and almost 10 years after that it's getting hot again. For me it's just a easier definition of the same thing, offcourse with some differences in approach to music creation i guess. It's not a bad thing to have more clear perspective on goa trance history. Offcourse, always love to read about something interesting to me and check out different opinions about same subject. I'm guessing that normal discussions, suggestions and opionions always are welcomed and people who are not into this kind of music so much get more useful informations to think about. And yeah, agree about your last sentence, but thanks God, we can always discuss about it
  19. Well, mr. Santos i see you are trolling lately so I'm gonna be nice and give you reply. Since you asked me many times that same question three weeks before release date of Dimensional Gateway compilation, no matter you were Okay with free release, no matter you praised that same NeoGoa for every review about your releases, for every good word about your new artistic experiment, no matter I managed to actually release something from your side on Ektoplazm, even Basilisk told me that you won't be featured on Ektoplazm for life, yeah Ivan the naive managed to actually publish Filipe on Ektoplazm and you two weeks before release date via Psynews forum on some random topic told that you won't publish your track because some argue with Basilisk. C'mon man where is your professionality? As i remember well, we all got emails and facebook... at least you should send me email or something and told me like a man that you not gonna participate. No matter thoose incident, NeoGoa again was there for you and made a cover artwork for your Lost Buddha album. And the most funnier detail is that you have to ask Imba to speak with me in your name, you got my email, you got my profile here on Psynews, don't hesitate to ask me directly if you need something and wanna speak about something. And here is answer to your question: No, i'm not gonna pay you. You know why, because you put a knife in my back and I trusted you and thinking about you as a professional, even after many people told me that you gonna fuck me up. And you never was fair enough just to be honest and say: Sorry man. That would be enough for me... And one more thing, I admire your work as a musician, some of your tracks are godlike to me and that thing won't be changed.
  20. Wow Reading your arguments I can see that you're producer and you mentioned a lot of technical details and i agree, there isn't a big difference between goa trance than and now, except better technology, devolped software, much easier ways of recording stuff, etc. Formula is same and i can't say, alright this is different type of music but i can say that now we got a lot of artists who are actually doing goa trance music and few really cool labels who are promoting this stuff, so yeah for me it's sort of new goa trance. 6-7 years ago there wasn't goa trance music at all, except some remastered releases from 90's. I really don't see anything negative here. And speaking of Goa Trance, here is pretty nice examples of using a ''Goa Trance'' in commercial ways (and 2% of thoose releases got some goa trance music featured) : 90% of nowdays ''darkpsy'' is terrorcore for me, but I'm not gonna go on every topic about that kind of ''darkpsy'' music start bitching about genre name and trying to explain that actually thoose releases are not dark at all. Speaking of new Pleiadians release, well last album was something different but I enjoyed it. Last track i hear was Seven Sisters and it sounded bad-ass so yeah I'm looking forward to hear new stuff, no matter it's gonna be full-on(ish). Sorry for offtopic!
  21. Solid release, few tracks sounds unfinished indeed but soundquality and production are very nice here, and like Penzoline mentioned, it's free so grab it
  22. Modern Goa Trance or much shorter and simple Neogoa suits best for Goa Trance music nowdays, in my humble opinion. And yeah, can you Filipe please be so kind and name thoose ''labels'' who are using phrases like newschool goa trance and makin' cahezz$$ (based on thoose same phrases)? Cheers
  23. C/P from our facebook fanpage: ''Everything around us can be represented and understood through numbers'' In 6 months we brought to daylight 6 releases (3 V/A's and 3 EP's) with more than 5 hours of goa trance and ambient music. We achieved 35 000 downloads so far on Ektoplazm with average rating of 90% pre release. People who are using Discogs gave (average) rating 4,7/5 per release. Besides regular music, we also hosted, aired and published 6 DJ mixes. So far 26 artists/projects from 15 different countries (Europe, North America & South America) released their music on Neogoa. Huge thanks to all of you who are actually supporting this kind of music!
