Hello... So I have made a slight change in plan, but it may do the project good: I think about doing only a single ... meaning, starting off as a single ... if we get enough, we'll do the compilation, but if not, so be it. 2 artists (will not tell names yet until confirmed and agreed that they'll be named) will be the starting point. If not even these 2 are on board, I guarantee it will not happen. Reason: these are two artists very integer to the character RTP (me ) - the project would make not so much sense without, it would be "just a collection of tracks"... With these 2, I can start with a single. If it gets more: good because then it'll be a single with more tracks. If we get over 4, it'll be a mini compilation. If we get over 6, it'll be a compilation. But it's all optional and totally relaxed for me - the only fixpoint are the two starting artists and that's also whereI'll invest the most energy. opinions welcome -- cheers

Update: The S>Range idea I had is not gonna happen as the track I picked may be released in another form anyway ... I have to pick another track, but I have no clue what I can choose from yet, Anthony hasn't mentioned anything yet. Tricky, as the artist S-Range has a release planned anyway. We'll have to see ... maybe I can only take the leftovers after the new album? More and more signs in my head point to a release as a single. A full compilation might have been too ambitious a statement. I will be content with 4 tracks - that means, I'd be happy if I even get these together. And I won't be in "balls deep" money wise ... just one half. I hope... Release as a vinyl would be cool for me (I want OLD stlye - vinyl is old style) - 4 tracks can fit on one vinyl - BUT it is expensive! I found a pressing plant in CZ ("Gramofonove Zavody") that makes 250 Vinyl for 720 EUR in the "DJ Pack" or 986 EUR in the "standard pack" - which probably means sleeve & booklet and such ... that plant is the cheapest so far that I could find. There are a few plants left that require contacting them to make an offer - I don't know if they'll be cheaper - I will have to ask, when I have some time on my hands I might do it. In France (vinyldeparis.fr) they take smaller orders, but they want 625 EUR for 100 pcs ... too much in my opinion. What would people pay for a 4 track vinyl? It depends on the contents ... if those are good, we can charge about 15 EUR, maybe even 20 ... but if these are bad, it'll rather be 10 EUR, not including shipping... Let's see ... "in emergency" it's going to be: S-Range, Magnetrixx - and maybe Etnoscope, Pusherstreet but I still have to talk to them 2 I will not do it without S-Range ... I have already stated to him: S-Range I consider to be an integral part of the RTP character (which is me). As soon as S-Range and Magnetrixx are onboard, it'll be a "go", no matter who's coming along or not. Let's do the minimum calc: 10 EUR minus tax is 8 EUR ... 4 is pressing costs (if we take "standard pack" because I want a cover), then we have 4 left. If we sell 200, we have 600 EUR winnings (because 200 are lost because of the remaining 50 not sold copies). With these 600 we have to pay artists ... 4 * approx. 120 EUR per track (if it is 4) = approx. 480 EUR ... so we have a 120 EUR left for psysurfeur --> Good. So I can offer 120 EUR per track. (If there's not enough potential then I'll just release it as a CD single because: cheaper)

Hej, cool to see you reply I WANT to do it ... but if I don't get any tracks (or "ask the wrong artists" who don't give me any) it still goes down the drain. I got a plan for a variation though as in: release only an EP (with 2 or 4 tracks) if it's not possible otherwise (track wise). If it was done on vinyl, it would gain another type of vintage "sexiness" I presume. Maybe an EP is even more fitting because I don't wanna get "cocky" and declare to have made "teh psynews jubilee compilation" when it in fact only contains tracks selected by me alone Would also be easier on the money. 2000 is my bet, but it won't hurt me to have to go a bit less all in. Yes we focus on goa on psynews, but I think that the sound on this will not be that much "goa" ... which is why it's very important to highlight that this is _a selection_ of artists that got dear to me over these years. I am not trying to recreate oldschool sound or dig out lost oldschool artists ... I leave this to other people who know better (there's a lot out there and my support goes to them!). I am more focussing on the "bridge" that connects this oldschool to the new sound (which I do not like so much the newer it got) ... it's that borderline territory I was frequently roaming around in these past years. That - and I won't be of any help contacting goa or psy artists that I don't (music-wise) love thoroughly and got 100% acquainted with, meaning, listening their material practically all the time ... it would just feel wrong to me doing a half-baked move. "Cover artwork" - my idea would be to do a painting, but I have no real clue how to picture it all togehter, so I would be pleased to get some help with it. "thick booklet" ... well I pictured to write a small story (a page) for each track, why the artist was selected and whatnot ... but leave that aside for now, because I don't yet know the full picture ... an EP would need no big booklet "mastering" - naive as I was, I thought, well, I just ask the artists for mastered tracks and that's it ... but now psytones brought me on the subject of volume differences ... I will have to even these out. This, however, could probably done in the Skeletone studio if I ask my friend nicely and bribe him with a good Scotch But if a track really needs to be mixed down, duh, I wouldn't know. How early do you think we should inform Colin that we would maybe need his help? the "super emergency" EP release as of now would be: - the Magnetrixx track - an S>Range track ... got an emergency idea on thin ice for it (Anthony doesn't know of it yet ) as there is something out there unreleased that I know of - an Etnoscope track - because I hope Razz is in - (if we need a 4th one) a Pusherstreet track I have lying around, have to ask Razz and Liam if I can release it though cheers RTP

OK so I want to do a real compilation ... and this shall be the thread where I document the important things. It will be my note pad and the source of general info your you admins and possibly other select few in case I fuck up badly or anything happens to me ... not that I plan anything like that, but I wanna be as transparent as possible because this is the best way that this project is done for me imo. Kindly ignore this if you are not interested ... kindly feel free to reply if you are or if you have input FIRST UPDATE: Idea: A psynews anniversary compilation by me to wrap up the last 20 years (it's just 17 for me I think) for me personally, from my perspective. I want to do it as it (probably) was made "in the older days" ... not oldschool but "middle school" ... mix of progressive and "mild fullon" if you can say so? ... with artists of that era and possibly also tracks of that era ... it may span a broader time frame though, so it can also get modern, if modern stuff is good ... which in my opinion it is rather seldom... I want to give something back to this wonderful forum that has accompanied me for so long and to its people ... which is why I wanna make this compilation. If you make a contest, a CD with the winning tracks can and should be included as a second CD. Maybe: 10 tracks on the compilation, 10 tracks from the contest = 20 tracks, one for each year. Good? Budget: Out of my pocket: 2000 dead ABSOLUTE MAX. Less is better. I try to lay aside 200 per month from Mar till Dec. Calculations: 200 releases shall be made in first run ... idea is CD ... no digital 10 Euros per Release plus 20% tax makes 12 Euros ... idea to make it 15 Euros flat including shipping in bubblewrap. If we sell all 200, we make 2000 dead = my budget (if all goes well). So ... of these 2000: I calculate 300 Euros risk buffer (to the ppl I tell that I want 300 EUR for Psysurfeur ... but in truth it's risk buffer) CD pressing is calculated by me with 2 Euros per piece ... why: because I want thick booklet which may be a little extra AND because we might make plus copies for the artists (promos, so to say ... meaning every artist will get a CD too ... and a few more) = 400 That leaves us with 1200 to 1300 for the tracks. Not included yet are mastering costs and artist fees for the ppl who make artwork... Legal stuff: I doubt we can buy tracks with all rights. I say: leave rights at the artists & only buy rights for 200 pressings ... makes it cheaper ... rebuy if repressing is done for same price Rule 2: the artists are asked to leave us for example 1 year exclusively with the track ... then they can go to other label Deadlines: Deadline 1 = Tracks closing = September 2019 ... meaning "in" September Deadline 2 = release complete = Nov 30th 2019 ... no xmas stress plzthx Deadline 3 = jubilee: the exact date will be 2020-01-11 ... all orders should be shipped till that day Stuff done so far: Artists asked: S-Range (maybe in), Etnoscope (maybe in), Atmos (no answer), Magnetrixx (IN), Shiva Chandra (OUT), Matenda (no answer), Feuerhake (OUT) ToDos: Collect tracks Get contract Sign contract with artists Pay artists Mastering Cover artwork Booklet text (even if only small) Take preorders Do the Release (press CDs) Ship out to customers Collect money don't knoes: do I need a business? what about tax? what about receipts?

Thanks for the insight Imba, I really appreciate it. I got a pretty "nice" and positive argument up my sleeve why artists might be willing to support or, at least, hear me out ... that's a big upper, otherwise I'd just come across as a hobo with a deluded dream But more on that later. So I guess it will be a physical release only, if my money is involved. No digital. Only if all tracks were free that would become a digital release. I have an idea how the financial part could work: offering the artists a small amout for, say, 200 pressings. All rights for the tracks will remain at the artists, the tracks could be released by them somewhere else too later... If repressings were made, I will ask around again if they permitted a second run - for the same amount of money. Again 200 copies. Or less or more, if seen fit. I hope that's a good plan? Fingers crossed...

I am not on FB, don't like it ... I guess I'll just start with creating my own (RTP) soundcloud account ... I don't wanna make it from the Skeletone one as that is not only me and I don't wanna mix up the projects ... makes things only harder... So ... percentage sounds like a hassle. Think I'll just ask them how much they want. Maybe I get lucky ... lets see ... I will not tell here though unless it's signed off by the artist that I can have the track for public release I think it would be fine to say rights remain at the artists ... if a repress is done, I'll just do a round mail and ask people for permissions again (and no answer within 2 weeks means OK). If there are any more tips, I am happy to hear

Hello, maybe this is a bit unexperienced question - but bear with me: I have this idea (call it "dream") of making a compilation. I would like to write to few artists that are dear to me if they got any tracks. It will be only the artists that I select, "my favourites" you may say. It will be bigger names among them (as in my endless naivity I think they might have a track they are willing to part from for money?). Questions I have are: 1) where to get the contact info and 2) how to do it ... I mean, only the fewest people will give me things for free. How much do artists call up for a track ... what is common? And how are compilations made ... are the tracks signed and paid in advance or is it possible to make a deal that the artists will be paid in % of revenue created (which probably won't be much, even though I think the release is going to be a blast in my opinion )? Anybody got some experience and willing to shed a bit of light on this? I don't wanna come across as a goof. I can administer psynews ... but I never did anything like that, always left that to other people who I thought were better at this than me

solar fields leaving home, extended vinyl reissues
RTP replied to technosomy's topic in General Psytrance
That is cool news, I missed out on Extended and it was way too expensive to buy ... they still want 80 euros for it out there on the used market... A very little part of me feels sorry for the collectors of the original one though. After all these years of me wanting it, I am actually hesitant to order. Then again, it's a piece from a bygone era ... a time capsule... Oh and what an odd place where it's released ... "Sidereal", never heard of ... but they also release Solar Fields newest one there, so that's his place now? ... What about Ultimae ... a bunch of dear artists seem to have left there in the last years ... strange, isn't it? -
I do think that Pryda - The End is a great intro ... not only because it is, but because it would be a creative act to start a set with the end (I say thanks to Lemmiwinks for this tune ... he posted it on this forum first - and sparked my love for Pryda forever.) Even better though is Atmos - Fill The Hat ... although it has a long breath: Third pick is Noma - Soon ... it's all purpose for a progressive set imo: If that was no good for you, you can try Etnoscope - Sunrise ... you never go wrong with Etnoscope imo:

Skeletone : Second Strike (new album 01 / 01 / 2019)
RTP replied to RTP's topic in Free Music Promotion
thanks for listening and posting Yeah I like Better Things a lot ... even though it's a pop tune ... the vocal line was probably the main reason for the "cheese factor", but it just turned out like that and felt natural. For the professional sounding factor I can't credit my mate enough ... he's who made it possible and he sat there tweaking the tune more when I was already leaving for the third ciggie because my ears were shut and my mind spun the sound round endlessly (in german we say it's an "ear worm") -
Skeletone : Second Strike (new album 01 / 01 / 2019)
RTP replied to RTP's topic in Free Music Promotion
Hey, thanks so much for listening and posting here, it means a lot to us. The credit for the improvements in production I will pass on to my mate. He's the one doing the mastering and the technical details ... if it was up to me, we would have probably sacrificed quality a bit more here and there, but thanks to him we did invest the extra time to make it that little better I'm quite with you what you say about these questions. The track "Trump Rising" was not done with Trump in mind ... it just came to my head as we mixed it down and searched for a name, because I wanted "Trumpets" in the title - but then I realized, hey, why not name it like that. The track was made when the elections took place and we didn't know who would win - the posting of the track on Soundcloud was much later though(*). It was not our aim to go political ... we were merely not that serious about it ... but later we saw that it actually even has a meaning when you are not serious ... and maybe this track is growing over our heads, title-wise. But hey, it was a brain fart of mine and I like it ^^ But it's interesting what a "title" and a small question can sometimes bring up in conversations and I like to ask a little and just reflect on people's answers I am very happy that you like Out of Kicks. I am surprised myself how good and tight this piece is screwed together ... but when my mate is in the flow, nothing can stop us I have to admit, we have no vocalist (if you know one, hit us up with her) and we had to pick these vocals in the first track from a range of samples ... maybe a bit on the cheesy side, but it turned out very good still in my opinion. I do like a bit of cheese on my meal... You should have listened to the rest of the vocals, gosh, some of those were awful ... you can hear some of them in "Boese" (*) the fun thing is, I didn't even really want to post it back then either, but I thought "uh oh, maybe Trump is making such a bad job he's throwing himself out before we have the album finished and then we can't use the title" ... and so I did it, as a promo kind of way. I have - spoiler - the idea that we make a track called "Trump Falling" (or something like that) where the trumpet should be taking a nosedive melody-wise ... but we'll have to wait for the right mood and inspiration for that one... -
[Disclaimer: the text below is subject to change, I will remove this as soon as I am totally sure with the text ... the only thing certain here is our second album Second Strike.] We got tired of goatrance not being the way we like it. So we created our own. We got tired of electronic music not being the way we like it. So we created our own. Well ... the first line is indeed how it started. But as we made our second strike, we rather concentrated on the second line and - went over it. And currently we are at the third. So I would say. the third one is not visible here You see, the border is only in your head. It's not about the border and it's not about us. We are merely two drops of water, floating in an ocean. Does Goatrance go with trumpets? That was the first question. Does Goatrance go with trump? Does Goatrance go with politics? and what does trance has to say about it? These things we answered in Trump Rising. And then ... it broke loose. Some say Trump did the same. He broke loose aswell. So... You may find that we have broadened the perspective. What was still "goatrance" or at least related to it on our first album, has become not the center anymore. It has practical reasons. Making the tracks on the first album "On The Run for the White" was painstaking as you may find the melodies stick to your head. Well, they stuck to ours more. We made the tracks and therefore may be the persons in this universe who listened most to it as we tweaked this part, cancelled this, rewired that ... if you are in a room with one of our tracks for more than 6 hours in a row, things happen. Try it out And furthermore: nobody can give you the experience so significantly than experiencing for yourself for example how frickin' easy it is to throw some dubstep sounds together after your brain has become numb. It really was ... interesting. And yes, we used one of these parts taht we did. We just had to. For us. For our sake. Also, my mate has become very fond of using vocals. We unfortunately had not the perfect singer, so we had to dig some up ... and well, for that, the result is perfect in my opinion. And the goa, the goa ... I tell you something: if a track is not goa, does that make it bad? Not in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, we love goa. But damn, I really like the new tracks: precisely Better Things, Trump Rising, Dubster Interference, Out of Kicks and Tricky Names. That's just a plain good result in my opinion. We are currently breaking another barrier (don't worry, we will get even better, there is something really good up the horizon but I cannot yet reveal ... I just say: it is the land of sound we are ending up in once we have completed the journey of that second album ... and yeah, we have _almost_ because what was left is to release the album ... but that is done hereby) ... stay tuned. The phases are: START -> LEARN -> FULFILL. "On The Run..." was the start. "Second Strike" is the learn. Soon we will FULFILL! What's left to say is: please, do enjoy this piece and leave a comment. I am very interested what you say. Cheers RTP

our own take at "Goa": Skeletone - On the Run For The White
RTP replied to RTP's topic in Free Music Promotion
Hey Tsotsi - thanks and cheers. We appreciate that you took a listen. Yes our production has not been spot on all times ... learning by doing I have found out that in the studio of my mate we use the same speakers as Astral Projection in their studio video though ... so the hardware seems to be there... If you check back, you will find out that there is some new stuff ... first there was Trump(ets) ... ... and then we tried some more new elements out and experimented a lot, my mate was keen to use some vocals for example ... we only had some cheesy ones lying around for the Better Things track ... but we think it has become something cool, although not as goa anymore as you might think. And then there's the Dubster Interference where we used - the title says it - dubstep ... and discovered how actually damn quick and easy it is to do such dubstep things, no wonder why it's become so popular ... fortunately these experiments are not taking the upper hand over the main purpose though, which is "if we don't like stuff, we try making our own": I think we still have some great tunes there ... even if some of them are "not so goa" anymore. -
Cheers for also returning early from a party I must say that my rest of the night was pretty shitty tbh ... I felt like I was on some substance ... visual artifacts, agitation, not able to relax, could not lie down. I have that a little bit after parties sometimes, but never experienced it to that extent - and I wasn't even on location that long. Maybe that bad air was more harmful for me than I thought. It certainly was more than tobacco smoke as far as I could smell and probably not even just weed... It took me ages to come down and I maybe slept two hours Dust and flu masks are not really suitable I think, they only filter out dust, not smoke ... plus I look like a clown with that. I think it must be either a gas mask or a better form of the dust mask ... such as the people wear who are doing spraypaint jobs. I found an ad for this thing called "smokebuddy" ... it's an air filter for social smokers who don't wanna pollute the air around ... never saw somebody using it, but maybe it works in the other direction aswell, meaning: when I breathe in through it, it filters the air...?
-
Hello together I just returned from a party early ... venue okay (not perfect, but not too bad), people were nice ... it was all quite fine, except that the air was vile in there. I got problems in there ... not real breathing problems, but I couldn't enjoy dancing as I wanted (I want it intense, mostly) because I felt out of breath and kinda sick when breathing deeply. There was lots of cigarette and MJ smoke and other bad fumes in the air. Problem is I could not go out and take fresh air as well as I needed, because it was quite cold outside and I was sweating a lot and the logistics with my warm clothes were not as manageable for me as I would have needed 'em. After a while the headache I had at the beginning of the evening (and which settled down long before I arrived) returned, telling me that it's time to go ... so I went. Do you go to indoor parties? How do you feel about the air in there? Is there anything good that can be done in my case ... I cannot wear a full gas mask as I am already now (without accessories) sweating like a pig when dancing. (Plus it will probably scare ppl off) Are there good air filters or masks around? Does the old trick with a doctor's mask and Vapo Rub do anything substantial to the air quality? Or do the mint oils just open up the lung more so that you take in more bad fumes? cheers RTP

lol awesome ... please have some oldskool in-your-face mongolian slangstargh after this: (I understand as little as you (probably, if you're not Mongolian) -- and that's what makes it awesome in a way imo)

A real diamond in the rough is A.Geh Wirklich - B-Romi Party: Eichare Gschichtn san verbraucht und ausg'lutscht Es hobt's glaubt dos Eich do kana draufkummt Den Waunsinn glaubt ma kana Bevur mi do wer anspuckt Moch i a Foto und stö's auf Facebook translates in: Your stories are used up and dull You thought that nobody would notice Nobody's gonna believe this craziness Before anybody's gonna spit on me I'll take a photo and upload it on facebook (afterwards it's repeated with "video" and "youtube" in the last line) It's a song about the local Hi-Society culture, you'll probably understand nothing, not even if you speak german ... but that's the language they speak in Vienna...

Okay, I didn't know much about Paracelsus or about his more questionable methods ... I just wanted to say, the guy was quite famous and he propagated this method, which makes sense to me. That sounds really interesting ... I wonder, why do you know so much about it, did you study this? Just curious... The "raising serotonine lowers dopamine" statement was from a questionable source, I'm skeptical about it, as said. But the Kanna could be an idea that seems interesting to me. Apparently it can be smoked or also sniffed (which I would prefer) ... I'll certainly keep it in mind.

Thanks for the clarification ofthe run off drugs. So these should not do any harm ... less effective maybe, but that's not the end of the world. And sorry, I did in fact _not_ mean homeopathy up there. The statement that "similar cures similar" (german: "Ähnliches mit Ähnlichem heilen") has not been established by homeopathy, but by Paracelsus, who's quite a famous guy concerning the foundation of medicine as far as I know. More specific: (from https://academic.oup.com/toxsci/article/53/1/2/1673334 ) I found this out because I talked to a friend. That statement is popular in the homeopathic community too, which is why I confused it. I did not mean to take substances that don't contain any molecules due to their high dilution... The correct term in my opinion for what I meant was probably microdosing -- but also not in the sense in which it is talked about out there... ____ However, thanks for the info that this micro-dosing (or whatever my idea is called) actually might increase sensitivity ... that would be the exact opposite to what I intend. Also I read up on it more and it says that cannabis tolerance may re-set "quite quickly" within few days ... that would be totally against my goals - working on micro doses for the purpose to build tolerance and then having it all pop back to normal within few days having to begin the painstaking process once again... But are there any other methods to lower dopamine? A website suggested to take St. John's Wort, because it increases serotonin, which in turn will lower the dopamine. However, I am skeptical. I have tried St. John's Wort already several years ago (for a few months) and it was doing me good, but once I decided to leave it, I promptly got some panic attacks ... really bad stuff ... don't need that another time. I want it in the exact opposite direction and with maybe, a slower ascent to the "peak tolerance" that my brain adapts so slowly that it won't trigger panic "on the way up", so to say.

Hey, I sometimes see colors too when I close my eyes. I think it's linked to migraine... Although sometimes annoying, it can be a nice combination with goatrance. Yeah, I fortunately almost never have to use them. But I wonder ... do they go bad? The ones I have ran off in 2016 ... expiry date wise. One more idea I do have though - and that one might be something. How about homeopathy? I mean, the basic scheme of it (before it comes to these "micropotents" and half-esoteric stuff that I don't know what to make of) is: to counter a disease with a drug that does not prevent, but that triggers it. The person takes mico and nano-doses of a poison that triggers the symptoms he tries to beat. Then, in the long term, the body will adapt to the microdose and "gets used to it". If you then stop taking these microdoses, the sickness will be "healed" because the mechanisms to counter the bad effects will still be active in the body. Sounds like a creative move, doesn't it? I'm sure you can get homeopathic doses of cannabis and LSD on the free market... [edit: I mean, you can get them 100% legal and legit] Anybody with more experience around who can tell me if that deduction of mine is right or if it's completely wrong and I might damage myself?
-
hey thanks for the posts ... I have thought about it and I agree - it may not be the right way to tackle my problem if I tried these medications without thorough medical supervision... On some other (german) forum somebody else had this plan too and the people there really advised him not to do that. Guess I'll just stick with my rule number 1, which is: to keep a benzo in the house because "a benzo should end every bad trip" ... no matter if induced by lsd, cannabis - or my body's own mind. Do benzos go bad? I think the ones I got are past expiry for more than two years already -- shows you how often I need them

Hej so I've been having the thought that I am - naturally, rooted in my psychic condition - constantly 'on the same "level" as some other people when they have taken a reaonsble amount of cannabis'. It's nothing new, I have been thinking this for several years already. Maybe you can even find a post where I said it, but I may not have expressed it a whole lot to the level that I want to make a thread about it. But now is the time ... because I wanna know what's what - and because I have an idea. First: Can this even be true? Of course I don't have a "stash" in my body that's constantly giving off THC, that woud be a dream for some of you, would it? I mean, that I might have higher dopamine levels (say dopamine for starters, I don't know which substances in the brain are also affected by cannabis) than the average person ... levels that the others only get to when they smoke a reasonable amount. And when I smoke, the dopamine gets too high for me quickly ... explaining why I can't personally take much of that substance (I really can't, sad but true). Heck, maybe it's even TOO HIGH when I'm sober already. Which brings me to: Second: If I took a medication that decreased the dopamine, would it help me get "normal" / "sober" ... whatever you call it? Coincidentally, these medications are named antipsychotics. Uh oh. But seriously. Is it advisable to be experimenting in this direction? What do you think? Anybody has taken these medications already? What do they do? Is it advisable only to reduce the dopamine or which other substances should be reduced? And what if it is not the level of the substance but the way I react to it ... maybe my body can harvest LOADS of "reaction material" from a relatively little amount of dopamine (the dopamine shall be my example), which is why even tiny increases such as a little bit of cannabis have profound effects. How to change the way I react to it ... are there possibilities? Can I make myself more "immune" to it? I'm looking forward to hear your thoughts about this...

Ulf Söderberg would have liked that:

My faith in psytrance has just been restored - thanks to this
RTP replied to RTP's topic in General Psytrance
Jep, they are superb ... Trä is my favourite aswell. It's such a pity they don't have this sound anymore nowadays, with the female singing ... but anyway. If you know anything that sounds in that direction, feel free to mention ... I always look out for some. Somebody should do a psychill remix of Tina Vieri ... the vocals would be very welcome, I don't know of any psytrance that has finnish singing in it. Wait ... there's Etnoscope. They have swedish singing in "Odins Kraft" ... and if you check out the samples from "Länge Leve Livet" and "Frejas Kraft" (from their Soundcloud page), it's in there aswell (and much better imo)... Etnoscope are awesome -
Yes, Anthony is great ... I save the studio talk video for later, definitely have to watch it, but I'll do it with proper focus. Love what he's doing. Yes, CBL have "a bit" returned to the acidic soundscapes with their last album, but it's by far not the same as the old stuff. I like old CBL -- their sound was warmer ... not so cold ... and kinda sad.
