Hmm, fair enough... I like slapstick movies then And yeah, Burn after reading was nice
-
Not shure what you mean about slapstick movies.... Do you like black amr humor ala Will ferrell??? If you do, then you'll love Anchorman ... One of the funniest movies i have ever seen Either you hate it, or you will laugh your ass off for the whole 90 minutes !

Ok, i just found the problem allways to be the EQ and filters.... Like chris said, use a BP filter, then you can change the frequencies, so the sound become less broad if you get what im saying... Then put on a compressor, to lower the volume differences when you tweak the BPF Or maybe you just need to create a sound that will compliment the loud one

Old Proggy psy classics that you HAVE to own: Antix-lull Atmos-headcleaner Beat Bizzare-lewd Also i would recommend some newer psytrance: M.E.E.O-highlight me please (2008) Prometheus-corridor of mirrors (2007) Braincell-frequency evolution(it has a dark feeling to it though, but it's pretty melodic fullon psy, so you might enjoy this eventhough you don't like dark sound) If you like this style, you have to get concept-paranormal as well

Electric Universe takes a stab at electro house
buzzman replied to Basilisk's topic in General Psytrance
Nothing special IMO... Sounds pretty average -
+1 And the funny thing is that they think they are totally into PSYtrance when they jump around to growling machines, and still listens to astrix-fire and stuff like that I remember the concept and koxbox concert last year, people were complaining about the music being to "hard" and "wierd" WTF? It's just koxbox, they talk about it like it was Furious or Penta or something I don't mind the drugs though

Hehe thanks... Yeah, i'm not to happy about this track, it sounds to monotone and dull... Also the reason it is in the end of the tracklist But thanks for commenting I'm working on my percussions and just started to play around with sidechaining and stuff, so i'll bring some better productions soon hopefully

About the album: It has the same feeling (kind'a) as leaving home, can hear alot of the same sounds... But it is, as it was said before, more complex... It's a hypnotizing peace of art that drags you in and quickly kills your sense of time! It's hard to descripe such beautiful music with words... It's a must have for anyone that's into ambient/downtempo... I would back Melancholyman up here and call Movements a masterpiece! All the tracks are awesome, and there's not a second on the album that I would want him to make different. It's an exiting journey into a place that you haven't visited before

Would you care for a non free psytrance magazine?
buzzman replied to Ormion's topic in General Psytrance
Are you gay? How many useful articles did you expect to find in a magazine like this? You don't buy the Penthouse or Playboy magazine to be informed (just so foreign people get the idea of what kind of magazine it is) And yeah, some of the humour is a little.... dull, wouldn't call it teenage humour... Many older people reads it... I would call it a "toilet magazine" for a Plummer company or something -

Only magazine i will EVER pay for is this -
You used the same sample(window to another dimension) as I did in my track The mist!! !! Just kidding Nice track... The Production is tight, and nice little story you create with a twisted and dark atmosphere I like it

Haha +1! I keep me updated via Psynews, i have started to see the picture from who i can trust the recommendations from.... I know for example that almost anything GaySatanichippy, Nemo and Abasio recommends will fall into my taste... Other than that i know all the names of the shitty fullon and pseudo proggy artists, so i can avoid them, that lower the amount of cd's to check out with about 90 % And that's the good thing about psynews, caus if you go to psy parties here in DK, people are talking about how awesome Neelix is, and how sweet growling machines is, it's fucking annoying that people have such shitty taste, and only want the commercialized music here in my country... I talked to the guy who aranges psyparties here in the capital, and he didn't even KNOW PENTA???? what the fuck man, Penta made 4 albums, and the person who was supposed to be the godfather of DK psyparties, only aranges GMS, Astrix, X-noize and shit like that.... Really sad Also i download alot of cd's, check them out quickly.... Some i delete if they sound generic or uninteresting, and others i put in a "possible to-buy" list, so i can give them a little more time, like they deserve.... If they hit the spot, i'll buy them, otherwise i delete

Yeah, everything evolves at some point, so there isn't really a reason to give it a new name IMO.
-
When you want the production to sound more "update" with the basslines and all the compression and stuff, i think that makes less room for the ´big melodies, maybe that's why??? Just a guess
-
+1 But no need for the negative commend in the end of your thread.... You don't HAVE to reply you know
-
The only difference i can hear is the production quality.. Other than that, it's all the same to me, with the big acid lines/goa melodies clashing on top of eachother in one big chaos.... To me it is all just goa But i guess that's because i don't like it much
-
No, that's not it. hmpf anoying to forget stuff like that... Checked discogs with no luck I'll check the track out though
-
Yeah the two mentioned albums were the super nova.. Now SUN-project should change name to neutron star-project :wank:

CompactStick - the successor of the CD
buzzman replied to RTP's topic in Music Making and Production/Industry
You can't listen to music and spend time on pienews at the same time? -
Like Lemmi says, this is SOO generic.. Unless you're into unintelligent dancefloor fool-on, this album is not recommended
-
THey made a track on a combi once, think it was a destination goa or likewise album.... Don't remember the name of the track sadly, a couple of years since i listened to it.. ANyone have an idea of what im talking about??? Otherwise, they are pretty shitty
-
Yeah, no words for this album.. Breathtaking music... A perfect 10/10 and a place in my top 3 favorite darkpsy albums!
