Headroom - Will Never End I didn't see a review of this brilliant album here, so i had to go forward. It's the best modern Psytrance album i ever listened to. It's not recommended to people who prefer melodic Full On, but everybody who likes quality acid influenced PsyTrance that isn't too aggressive should definitely check this out. All tracks are close to be called 'perfect'. Not overloaded with sounds, but not too minimal either. Funky arrangements all over, and also some small mysterious sounding melodies. The basslines are bouncy, but not too aggressive like they are in most modern Psytrance productions. Excellent music! Favorites: 1, 2, 4, 6, 7 :posford:
  2. Probably a too easy solution, but could it be 'Quirk - Robotised' from "The Truth Of Communication" ?
  3. That's just a personal experience. I've been asking for several track IDs on different forums during the last 2 years. In about 60% of all cases people who didn't know the track answered like "Sounds like Prana somehow..." but then it turned out that the track was released by 21-3 Records, Psychic Deli or other british labels, but doesn't have anything to do with Prana. Of course your track may be released by Matsuri. Are you sure it was sourced from CD? Or could it be from vinyl as well? You probably know that there are several "vinyl only" tracks from back then. Btw: did you ask for help on Discogs Goa/Psytrance Forum as well?
  4. Lol, that's a standard answer when looking for help to identify ANY track. "Sounds like Prana..." Sorry, i'm with draeke. It really sounds israeli, like some Phonokol or BNE stuff. And it sounds more like '97-'98 than '95-'96.
  5. Some older stuff: Etnica - Alien Protein Asia 2001 - Psykadelia Dimension 5 - Transdimensional Pleiadians - I.F.O. Some newer stuff: Ra - 9th Human Blue - Base Basket Buffet Cosmosis - Psychedelica Melodica Check em out, maybe there's something you like among them.
  6. It's absolutely nonsense! The worst idea since women's football.

  10. goa specialists probably won't be able to help you, as these tracks are full on psytrance.
  11. Hi again Does anybody know this one: http://media.putfile.com/track-15-11 Must be from 1995-1997. A guy on Discogs Goa Trance Forum said it's Satori - Event Horizon, but it's not the one. Thanks in advance for your help.
  12. Found it. It's Nervasystem - Donovan's Brain. Appears on http://www.discogs.com/release/335480 and http://www.discogs.com/release/215146 :posford:
  13. Hi everybody The track is probably from 1994-1997. Quality is very bad, it's sourced from an old tape playing on a mono tape deck. But everybody who knows the track will probably recognize it. It's a 2 minutes sample. After 15 seconds there is a quite catchy vocal sample. http://www.zshare.net/audio/79150985229b71/ or http://www.sendspace.com/file/21y7ba Thanks in advance.

  16. First let me say, thanks for being honest, that is better than just saying "Wow, great mix man!". But of course i will try to justify. About the tempo: Sometimes there are small BPM changes in my mixes, but not always. In this mix, i lowered the BPM in the last track bcz it is kinda smooth. Generally, i don't like the tempo faster than 135 BPM that is the maximum for me. In the mid 90's me and my friends listened to great unofficial mixtapes, mixed by Sasche Haske ( http://www.discogs.com/artist/Sascha+Haske ). Those mixes were always at about 133-135 BPM, that's why this kind of tempo always was normal for me. And afaik, Sasche Haske is a quite well known and successful DJ (and artist of course), so i think he was a kind of good "mentor" (even if i never met him). About that "too ordinary thing": That is correct, most of the tracks are very well known classics. My intention was to make a mix with my favorite melodic tracks from the mid 90's. If you like to hear some "different classics", check out my other mixes, especially Goa-Getter II which is rather spooky/minimal. However, thanks for the feedback guys.
