Yup Abasio I agree you could use up better your space and make them stay all in one square space. Maybe the one in the back will be a bit less reachable but is probably not a big deal if u know where you store your music. By the way, do you people sort stuff randomly or by genre or by label or all alphabetically? I sorted ambient separated by goa and all albums are sorted alphabetically by artists and compilations are sorted by label instead, much easier to find similar sound this way. If I were to misplace smth it could take some good while to find it. BTW: the link to my collection still works and has 2010 pictures that i added last year. EDIT: Ukiro, Mars and Anoebis should update us and post new pictures of their collections

I think you are making a nice choise and read so well of the HD 25-1 II. Be sure to check its the newest model that improved a lot of issues that the previous had! Regarding the topic i now have: Amplifier (Sansui AU 919) Speakers (Indiana Line Arbour 5.40 <- must change them!) Headphones (Sennheiser HD 280 Silver <- not for long!) my amplifier is absolutely the best thing and the rest has to go.. but audio components are so expensive... my other setup @ parents is a little better in terms of speakers, i have sol old tannoy but still nothing top notch, i guess i should buy less records and invest in audio setup sooner or later

Some pretty cool reviews and nice photos of headphones, now, i want to ask everyone, what do you suggest for DJ use? I've seen some pretty nice headphones online but i don't have a chance to try before i buy so i will ask if someone has heard or has these that are the ones that i am choosing to buy now (new year comes and maybe a few DJ sets coming so i need to have new gear, mine are now almost completely broken (Sennheiser HD 280 Silver). So I was wondering between these which one's the best: AKG K 181 DJ (~140 Eur) TECHNICS RP DJ 1210 (~150 Eur) Sennheiser HD 25-1 II (~200 Eur) Pioneer HDJ-2000 (~240 Eur) Pioneer, beside being very expensive, seems to be very robust while i fear Sennheiser may broke down as the 2 previous pair of sennheiser i had had defects and mostly broke somehow in the plastic parts above, around the "speakers" and in the parts holding them together. Technics are discontinued so if they break somehow, there is no replacement. I am very tempted at the end by either pioneer or akg that so far don't show any visible defect Opinions?

i think AP wants to beat Guns N Roses that had to release chinese democraxy in 1998... and it DID come out in 2008 , with tracks composed a decade before.. Now we can maybe expect this one in 2015 to be realistis (if the world is still around), so maybe speed it up and make it before 2012!

whenever i think about the word EPIC the only track that comes to mind is Cosmosis - Howling At The Moon that tracks builds up forever and ever till the end. which tracks do you feel like do the same? that's just to gather some similar tracks in one topic. suggestions welcome

Welcome to the forum well, we should relaly have a topic with the best of the post 2k releases divided by genres where we would add periodically new albums, so that everyone that comes here like yourself could easily see what is considered to be GREAT in many diff genres. As you have realized, since 99 there was a massive diversification in genres and style that in my opinion was less prominent in the 90s, surely we had sub-genres back then too but now there are myriads. And genres tend to mix between themselves too. Also we would need to know what is your taste because you listed discs that range from "full on" to "spiraling goa" and psytrance. One good start, in my opinion would be to check out the whole catalog of Suntrip, Cronomi, DAT, Phototropic, Space Baby and of course Ektoplazm (website that distribute free music). If you are into ambient i must recommend Altar, Ultimae, Sentimony, Gliese 581c Here you can find some links to labels: http://www.datrecords.it/dat/links/links.html Then If you are into full on or darkpsy someone else may recomend you more stuff since i don't know much of that
