  1. Hi Pat, yes they probably do but it is not very easy to reach or deal with them, that said if they are listening I would be interested.

    Mind Rewind

Thanks once again to you all for all the praise and the positive reactions, many hidden gems were indeed finally released here, we are all so happy! @Technosomy, ahhaha no the Godfather will always be only Raja Ram!! @Sideeffect...: most of the tracks were never mastered before and we got the studio takes from the artists, a few that were released only on vinyl were remastered but most of them were treated for the very first time. @psytimeofmylife: I am afraid so, it sold like nuts , 10 copies a day or smth like that, people realized it was going to be a special thing and indeed it was. Thing is on the market were placed only something more than 300 copies, the rest was given to artists and or contributors, I kept a few and sold all the rest but maybe some of the contributors still have a copy for sale, ask around ! Thanks again, we donated with all your help a bit over 4000 pounds to Children Walking Tall, a FANTASTIC success! http://www.childrenwalkingtall.com/Newsletter/2011-10.htm we have our own paragraph there now, check it out!
  3. http://www.altar-records.com/alwoods.html What a nice surprise, this album comes out today courtesy of Altar Records and it is a very nice piece of work. At first I was a bit skeptic because I have never heard the name of the artist before and after a quick check online i couldn't really find much, but i decided to give it a go and listened to it anyway. It opens smoothly and progress into what we can define as a beautiful journey into the lands of progressive trance and downtempo vibes. The production is good as well as the mastering and the artwork, Zen did it as usual and it looks pretty brilliant! Let's go through the tracks: 1 The opener is great, has the beat but is somehow relaxing and that sets the mood for the whole album, nice. 2 The first of my favorites, excellent use of a voice in the background, dreamy and psychedelic, the way it should be. A superb track with an oriental touch, bravo! 3 Near Light: Good solid track, could have been a little longer maybe but it prepares you for the nice journey that is about to begin with the next track. 4 Psychedelic Dream: is a very relaxing track, possibly my most favorite on the whole album, really floating out there and that gave me a sense of inner peace. 5 Low Red Moon, it's an OK track, actually is the only track that I don't like too much, but it has an interesting moment right before the end. 6 Sun Trap is the most "positive vibe feeling" track of the whole album, it feels like summer, a great track that would be surely reserved to melodic and joyful sets. 7 Samo8raki: Is another favorite, it is entrancing and captivating, with the repetition of the word used in different ways so that it creates a deep connection with the rest of the music, mystical atmospheres and excellent use of pads. 8 Kerkini Lake: The closing track is a middle tempo acidic track that tells a story, it has its apex in the middle where an intriguing melody appears in the background, a great closure to a very nice album. Another solid release from Altar!
  4. DAT Mafia Recordings is working on its own while with DAT I am trying to work with etnica, more news soon.. Re releases of Blue Moon records seems to be very very hard, but if anything hunab ku should be re-released in my opinion and Psy Nergy as well..
  5. http://www.discogs.com/sell/list?release_id=145286&ev=rb Minimal Elektro probably sells the original pressing, 45 eur is a great price for that cd
  6. @ALL: I am not in the position to share anything, I run a label and receive music from artists which trust me, so do not ask please. Regarding etnica, I am working towards a possible release of their live sets, stay tuned Regarding live sets of KoxBox , do not share the live at burning man please, KoxBox may want to release it at some point. As far as what concern the hyperstate I am not the one having it, who has it will decide for himself what to do with it.
  7. Well I don't recall the details as this story is from 2003 or smth but if I am not wrong it was him or a friend tripping and decided it was nice to experiment with fire or smth and to see the light behind the vinyl on the non decorated side so that the stars would shine.. but then he got the vinyl too near to the flame and well, it melted it.. :S
  8. There was recently a pron actress that commented about how she enjoyed Carbon Based Lifeforms and how she always listens to them before filming in St Petersburg, it was a funny post to read on facebook . But surely there are many more famous listeners of this genre, why not?
  9. that's fantastic, lucky you, most of us have to pay LOADS for one of those ! But I guess it all depends from where you are from and how much money you can spend. I know a few people spending up to 400 eur for one CD and considering it no big deal, so it's all relative.
  10. Pleiadians Picture EP for 150 eur, that was the max for a vynil. For a CD hmm I have to think but I guess it was probably 90 eur for G.O.L - Sensations of Tone, both worth every penny. Then there were a few more on the same price range but always rare ambient stuff..
  11. I sold a cd single of crop circles for solid 350 eur and frankly wouldn't have sold it for anything less, was one of my 3 copies, I then traded the second and now keep my last one
  12. Ok I will take some pictures, regarding pure psychedelic material my collection is now as follows (only originals): Goa/Ambient CD : 2362 Goa/Ambient Vinyls : 936 Digitally archived music ? Many TBs ...and Pictures! http://s103.photobuc...ANCE/?start=all @Tatsu: Of the Pleiadians Picture EP there are only 199 around, a friend of mine managed to melt one with a candle, ahh the magic...
  13. Fabien, I was speechless, he is a true magician of modern sounding psychedelia, i wish i knew what he played in his set! But I suppose it exist a trading circle of new unreleased that are rocking, same as it happened in the 90s . Of that, I known nothing though !
  14. Koxbox at least have 2 recorded live sets, one is the live at burning man 96 and that is the live they were thinking of releasing digitally, so that could be reminded to them. As far as concern the live at Hyperstate 98 I had confirmation it exists and someone on this forum has it, but it is just a 128 kbps rip and probably a radio rip as from what i have heard the quality is really low. So that one cannot really be released probably. Regarding Etnica live sets, the live that I have to agree with Joske to be the best is Live at Athens. IFO live is not on the same level, you are all just excited because u think it will be better than IFO, but is not. I am talking with Max these days and there will be possible news in the near future, I am about to start an active cooperation with them. I will visit them in November in Ibiza and then will make some proper announcements. Keep positive thinking!
  15. Dear friends and daydreamers, I made a video the night of the great party that I had the chance to see while in London. The music was incredibly psychedelic and the 3 mentioned above ROCKED my world. I was particularly mesmerized by System 7 tweaks and Shane Gobi played some incredible music, all new, but psychedelic like if we were in the 90s. Unfortunately I recorded only 5 minutes of Shane as I wanted to save battery for Shpongle and I am glad I did . Anyway enjoy the video on YouTube and if you want there is also the video recording of Shpongle 2009 live that is shared as well in my channel. Cheers !
  16. Wicked, very very nice!
  17. this one rocks for me at the moment.
  18. very nice paintings, i like the snake, the latex sex, and aurora borealis which is quite a piece!
  19. I suggest the nice community to watch Family Guy S10E02, it is a veeeery trippy episode.
  20. wow. looks amazing!
  21. TheTreeTribe we need those mixes back up, they are ridiculously awesome. I have 9 of your mixes but I know i miss some, I urge you to mega-share them all : )
  22. Hey walkabout, you have a point of course. I of course never implied there aren't girls like you described, I just happen to know maybe one or two of that kind, but that of course depends on where you live and who your friends are (that's regarding personal life choices of course) or which kind of girls you like to hang out with/date. Regarding all the producers from the scene, which is what the topic was about, if you count them, they are still less than men! can you deny it? I don't say that there are not talented male singers of course and there are horrible female singers too (miss kittin?)
  23. Hey psydmt nice to read your story ! Don't you have like pictures/flyers and whatnot of the time? These should be published on facebook or something, I would really like to see the parties of back then in a retro visual trip! In any case thanks for sharing the story!
  24. Just for the records, i was at the party "the elixir of life" in London this 1st October and there was a Shpongle DJ set courtesy of Raja Ram, he played a new track which had the Hallucinogen signature to it and was uptempo, a nice trip!
  25. Joske summed it all properly. To make it a bit funnier, I wouldn't really see girls spending hours in the studio when they have to do so many things such as cooking, cleaning, making themselves beautiful (hairdresser/spa/beauty salons/nails and whatnot..) ahah no just kidding %) (now i will receive flamings from all the girls in the forum!). Beside stupid jokes I really think musicians can be both male and female but I would easily see a girl playing (probably much better than a man) a classical instrument such as a Violin, or a Piano or even an acoustic guitar and then female are just ideal for singing, there are some angels out there with a voice that can give you chills and make you feel like heaven, and that rarely happens with men. So the best are cooperation with a girl singing and a man making the electronics behind such as I've heard in many chill projects.
